Had an appt this morning. Got there 15 minutes early. Text message said to check in via phone--Don't need to go to counter. An employee came out 10 minutes later and said they were running 40 minutes late "because someone didn't show up" (I assume an employee) so I left and came back in 35 minutes. Edit - I did end up coming back a second time for a bloodwork appointment. This time, it seems that my results have been lost. My bloodwork was taken in the office November 2nd, and neither my doctor or I have received results. I am currently going through infertility treatments and this is needed to continue. I have requested results through my quest, after which I was sent results from a previous visit, not the date I had requested. I also emailed and called, but have not been able to get ahold of anyone. This is causing so much stress because I'm not sure if I will be able to continue with my procedure without these results. read more

Quest is on the first floor to your right, it's right as you walk in. I came in a Friday at 7:30am as a walk in, it was about a 30 minute wait. The first woman I dealt with was super rude and condescending. She was in the middle of helping me with something, then just walked off and never came back. Eventually I was helped by Anrin, who was not only very professional and went out of her way to solve my problem, and was very sweet. The tablet checkin process is not a reason to not have a receptionist. I checked in for my appointment and waited. Never saw a single employee for 50 minutes beside a name being called to come back. Please note this is not a review of any particular staff as I didn't even make it through the door. I made an appointment for 3:15 on Thursday. I arrived about 10 minutes early and checked in via the link texted to me. It's a cool feature allowing us to stay safe without crowding the waiting area or the lab itself - IF used properly by the staff. They were supposed to text me when it was okay for me to come in, but I didn't hear from them. I waited for about 30 minutes believing the office to be quite busy and not wanting to crowd the room. I walked up to the door only to find out that the office was closed and door locked already. I'd hate to overwhelm the staff, but if the staff aren't properly using the texting feature, and not respecting the appointments, why bother implementing the system? read more

Toni (an older woman) took my blood and it was extremely painful. She poked around for a vein for about 3 minutes and told me it was "going to pinch like the devil." She inserted the needle and no blood came out. So she did it again. No blood. That has never happened to me before. She asked if I drank too much water today and I said no. Now my arm is completely bruised. She was able to find a vein in my other arm. But when she went to get the gauze to put on my arm, she placed it on the armrest and folded it up on the armrest. So she effectively wiped up any illnesses that could have been resting there and put it on my open vein. I will NEVER EVER return to this Quest again. read more

I was checked in almost immediately and was greeted nicely by Breanna, while I was waiting for my turn, I notice how polite and respectful she was towards every one. Came in as a walk in, I checked in and less than 5 minutes later they called me back. I usually get nervous with needles and explained that to the phlebotomists. She told me to watch a movie on my phone she massaged my arm and gave me a warm compress and once she saw I calmed down she started to draw my blood she started up a conversation with me to distract me some more. I had a very pleasant experience. Walked in without an appointment and was taken in with no problem. This is one of the few locations that opens up early, most open at 8am and when your fasting it might just be a little late. Nice Quest location inside a medical building in Santa Ana. Suite 102 is on ground level to the right when you walk in. I came at 7:15am (15 minutes after opening) and the wait time was not too bad. At least the waiting room wasn't packed with 30 people which was what I witnessed at the Westminster location. I waited about 30 minutes. Not bad at all. Staff were all very nice and accommodating. Here for a urinalysis? Feeling nervous? Want to know what to expect? Okay. First, I was asked to pronounce my name for patient verification, to wash my hands thoroughly, and to put my belongings in a tiny white box. Second, I selected one of two plastic cups (both identical) to urine in and directed to the restroom. Finally, you bring your cup of urine back to the doctor. Next, she'll pour it into a tube to seal and will request you to initial the label. Finally, you will be given back your belongings and then you can leave. Simple. Easy. I arrived yesterday afternoon to submit a pre-employment urinalysis drug test for my employer. The receptionist at the front desk was sweet and professional. I signed the clipboard because I did not have an appointment nor were there any available appointments the night before. There was about ten patients waiting when I arrived and there were six patients waiting after I departed from the room. I will admit that you will be here for at least an hour even when it's not crowded. I arrived around 1:35ish and did not leave until 2:30ish. I was starting to think the doctor forgot me, the receptionist didn't check me in properly or I missed a step on the sign in sheet. After all, several patients without an appointment were seen before me for blood work. Nonetheless, I was seen eventually. The female doctor with short, reddish brown hair was sweet. She knew I was nervous and told me not to be. Honestly, I was nervous because I did not know what to expect. In addition, I was sitting in a chair that one uses for blood work. Any who, I had a pleasant experience. Oh, if you have made it this far. The lab is located on the lobby floor across from the pharmacy. When you walk in, make a right to a door. This is one of best locations for Quests. I have blood drawn at least every other month. Brianna is the best. Always upbeat and cheerful. *(Though one time I had to be turned away because I hadn't fasted. :( unfortunately that was on the 3rd page of the order). Yes I could of gotten mad - but that is not their fault. She made an appointment for me right then. I was back in 2 days !! Today *(Friday) I had an appointment at 10:45. I walked in at 10:30am the place was packed. At least 30 people. I checked in with my "scan code".. took literally 2 seconds. Brianna ask when my appointment was. I said 10:45, she said she be calling me shortly. At 10:45am she called me up and found the faxed doctors orders etc. Brianna is extreme upbeat - every time I come in. About 10 minutes later, my name was called. I wish I could remember my Phlebotomist name. She was super nice as well. **Now to you people who choose NOT to make an appointment and then complain to no end that you have to wait etc. Make it very uncomfortable for the rest of us in the waiting room. It feels so random to be writing a review for a Quest, but they deserve it! I have been to this location twice, and have had an excellent experience both times! I booked an appointment and felt that they had plenty of convenient appointment times. I have always been seen exactly at my appointment time, and didn't have to wait. I also noticed that I was prioritized above the walk-in patients, which I appreciate. They are soo so fast! Most notably, the front desk gal is an absolute gem - she is so comical and kind. They are so welcoming! I love this Quest! read more

I went here for a walk-in and one of the staff members was extremely rude. The office seemed very understaffed and the employees seemed stressed. A patient didn't understand what the staff was saying to him because he didn't speak English, and the staff member kept speaking louder and more harshly to him even tho he didn't understand. She eventually barked "does anyone here speak Spanish?". She seemed like she was yelling at him when he didn't understand and finally another patient helped translate. I'm sure this experience was humiliating for the patient and even if the staff member was stressed, there is no excuse for being disrespectful to a patient who does not understand. The restroom for drug test is awfully dirty. Floor had streaks of dirt and it seemed like it wasn't cleaned for hours? Debra Giles seemed very abrupt when reviewing instruction, verifying my name/phone number, and collecting urine sample. As I exited the restroom to wash my hands using the sink outside, she stopped me and raised her tone of voice telling me to slow down. I checked in today at 12 for a quick blood test. The girl at the counter said it would be 30 minutes and that they were only a walk in clinic. After waiting for over an hour I asked what was going on when she disappeared to the back. She said they were training and only had two people to service over 40 in the waiting room and it would be another 30 minutes, but she didn't know. I was furious that during the middle of the day they have all there employees in training instead of servicing paying customers. When I asked her for the supervisor she gave me some guy names Wayborn cell phone number who is on vacation. What a complete joke to have waited for almost 2 hours with NO service. Came in as walk-in on a Wednesday, arrived 5 minutes before they open there were about 8 ppl in front of me. Check in was quick and smooth. I was here for my glucose test, after it settled down I asked if I had to wait the 30-45 min it said to take the flat drink, they took me in next, took the quick draw and got my drink, off to sit for a couple hours. After I seen they were taking everyone in fairly quickly I didn't feel bad cutting in front of ppl lol especially since I was already going to still be here long after they left. Front desk was nice, lady who took my blood was nice and patient. I had to go back every hour to get my blood drawn. When I checked in I helped the older gentleman after me bc he didn't understand how to use it. But the front desk was nice when I seen other ppl needed help as well. I read the reviews for this place before and either they changed staff or other reviews exaggerated and/or were just not patient. It's now 8am and 4 ppl are waiting and it's less than 10 min wait. I would come here again if I had to. Only complaint...it's too warm in the waiting area. I'm already fasting, my blood is being taken, I can't drink water and you keep me warm? Until recently, this was a great location, but my last two appointments (today and October) were absolute NIGHTMARES! Massively overbook appointments and drastically understaffed. Both times I made appointments for me and my elderly mom (90+) who uses a walker. Both times we were told to wait in the building lobby "because COVID" and the wait would be "quite a while, sorry, there's nothing I can do." Their own lobby is as big as the building lobby, yet there are more people in the building lobby! (But, COVID???) Also, almost no seating, and they don't make accommodations for disabled people like my mom. Today my 90+-year-old mom and I were told to wait outside in the 60° weather because there were no seats inside. We arrived on time and were NOT EVEN ALLOWED TO CHECK IN! The patients who have *appointments* are furious, and the staff is about to implode - some try to be nice, others give off loads of attitude. One was begging for a lunch break. They also apparently have a new computer system that took our phlebotomist about 10 minutes each to check us in. I could go on. DO NOT go to this location! (I hope the others haven't gone downhill, too.) So disappointed that this once exceptional location is now totally dysfunctional. I will be sending a letter to the corporate office. I understand a bad day now and then, but this was two bad appointments in a row. If you can't accommodate that many patients, then cut down on your appointments. And figure out a way to accommodate elderly and disabled people who 1) can't stand, 2) can't wait outside in the cold, 3) can't walk the distance to and from the car repeatedly, or 4) can't sit for long periods on a hard bench with no back on it. read more

Not much of a wait time for not having an appointment. However no one was very friendly. I am already a bit nervous about getting my blood drawn and the lady that did mine was only there for 3 months. She was awful couldn't find my vein had to poke both arms before finally getting it. While blood was being drawn she was moving the needle as she was switching and shaking the tubes. After i was done she went to say she forgot to do one of my blood work and needed to re-poke me!! Best quest ever. Very clean, friendly staff and fast service. I came in as a walk in on a Friday morning at 710 and was called back after only 15 minutes of waiting. All in all I was here for less than 30 minutes. You would think I would've been the only customer, but no. There was a full waiting room and people kept coming in. They work so efficiently. Came here as a walk-in around 11:30am on a Wednesday. I waited about 10 minutes before starting my 24 week pregnancy glucose tolerance test. Super easy, office was clean, and the front desk receptionist Brianna was super nice and making every person that walked in feel important and catered to. I was watching her the entire time and she was so friendly to each and every person and took care of their individual needs and never turned anyone down or turned down any questions they had. Super great. Every doctors office needs a front desk person like her. Will definitely come back for any other blood work I might need this pregnancy or the next. In by 11:30, drank my drink at 11:40 and was taken to get my blood drawn at exactly 12:40. Super efficient. Even the gal that drew my blood was super warm and took great care of me. I had a great experience at 801 N. Tustin, Suite 102, Santa Ana. From the time I was greeted by a very friendly woman. I appreciated the fact that it was very organized. They have a large number of Phlebotomist's, which makes your wait not very long. I had an appointment and arrived 25 minutes early. I informed my Phlebotomist that I have a tendency to faint (from dehydration). She took me to another room and had me lie down and proceeded to talk to me and drew my blood. She was quick and I didn't feel a thing. I didn't even bruise. I would definitely recommend this facility. read more
