This time I was seen within minutes. I gave the co-pay and she took my blood. The used a thick rubber band to take my bloodwork. The wrap she used afterwards was the elastic type I appreciate (doesn't stick to my Wookiee arm hair). Then quick bathroom visit (regular labs) and I was done. The whole visit was less than 15 minutes and highly professional care.

This location has main floor disabled accessible bathrooms, and vending machines. Lab Corp makes it easy to schedule appointments online and the day of your appointment you can check in online or at the kiosk and even wait in your car. I am usually taken on time or early for my appointment. I have had a good experience with most of the phlebotomists, they seem to care and try to make the experience as easy as possible. except today it took three sticks to be able to get all the blood needed. The test results are posted online fairly quickly.

If you know you need to go set an appointment because once you check in you will be moved to priority which will cause some of the less patient folks to be upset. The staff is always so kind and friendly when you are being seen and if you need blood drawn you are in good hands because they often get it right on the first poke. There was plenty of seating. The place was clean and quiet. My phlebotomist Bryah was fantastic. She was friendly, efficient, and a terrific stick. I was in and out of there in 10 minutes. I would go back without hesitation. I wish we could all get past this trend of looking for problems where they don't exist.

About five people were in the waiting room when I arrived, which led me to believe that I might be waiting awhile, but that wasn't the case. I signed in at the kiosk and sat down to wait. I think I might have been in the chair for thirty seconds when "Kayla" called me. She was professional and pleasant. I'm one of those people with needle anxiety, so Kayla's no nonsense approach to get me in and out of there quickly helped a lot with my anxiety. Wow, she is a pro at it, finding the right "spot" easily (not usually the case for me) and with an accurate aim. Yep, it hurt a little, but not the worst I've ever had. I hate it when they try to put you at ease, I guess, so they chat with you while they casually go ahead setting things up and then they talk with you, telling you you're going to feel a little "stick" etc. I'm always thinking - shut up with the small talk and get this over with! Kayla was just the right fit!
