If you know you need to go set an appointment because once you check in you will be moved to priority which will cause some of the less patient folks to be upset. The staff is always so kind and friendly when you are being seen and if you need blood drawn you are in good hands because they often get it right on the first poke. I had been to this location before with appointment and it took about 20 minutes past to get in. Once in gotrdone and went on. THIS time tho entirely different. had 10 45 app and site said you could hang out where you were most comfortable and they would notify you when it was time to go to office and get called in. after 15 minutes got notification and went to waiting area. Then I waited and waited and waited with folks who showed up later than I and when I asked had appointments later than mine were called in. Finally after an hour of this insanity I asked the next person who came into room what was up and I had been waiting over an hour. total clueless look on her face and said they had mostly fill in folks that morning and she had no clue as to what was going on! will recommend to my doctors to NEVER REFER ANYONE TO LABCORP AGAIN and strongly suggest they train some of their personell to handle this very simple task and send it off from their offices like every doctor I have had to this point. This is a busy location, making an appointment is highly suggested. Once you sign in the time goes quickly there is a TV to watch and many chairs that flow into the hall. Once you check in you can see your approximate wait time. Each of the technicians are trained and very pleasant and their rooms are clean. This location is the epitome of the worst run, most disorganized, unmanaged facility that i have been to. You would think you were in East St Louis or the Bronx. Even with an appointment i waited one hour while the incompetent staff took walks before any one else with an appointment. Even the walk ins were getting upset with the staff for letting them go before the people with appointments. I tried to complain to Mercy and they are renting the space and have no control of the idiots or lack of idiots "not" running the program there. Beware and expect to wait forever, even thought the clock on the TV says 10 minutes and then goes to 16 and then back to 8 and then up to 20 ? The wait times kept changing and were ridiculous, we came in and were at 16 minute wait, then it changes to 25, we ended up waiting over 45 minutes. Several people walked out during our wait. Then when the nurses open the door and call names, they are rolling their eyes and mumbling to each other appt the patients going in. Terrible experience for anyone and everyone. I showed up for my 12:30 appointment and was told they were closing early. Other people had just walked out upset and I didn't know why until the employee explained to me the situation. While standing there trying to explain how necessary it was to get my blood work drawn that day, 4 more people walked in for appointments and were told the same thing. An hour before my arrival, I was even sent a text reminder of my appointment! My whole day was scheduled around this appointment just to find out some employees decided to close their offices for the day. Extremely unprofessional! Had a great experience at this Quest location! My son needed his one year old lab work done and we were sent here by his pediatrician for it. Making an appointment online was easy and as soon as we got there we signed in at their kiosk station. We waited maybe 5 minutes before we were called back. Crystal was absolutely wonderful with my son and was very quick taking his blood. It made the experience as good as it possibly could have been. read more

An absolute joke! My physician sent me to Quest for my annual physical blood work. I signed in using there kiosk system along with others who came in behind me. About 6 people waiting when I arrived. After an hour and 5 minutes I noticed others who signed in after me were being cared for and I asked a nurse why it was taking so long. She said in a rude way, "Someone must've taken you out of the system by accident. You'll need to try signing in again." I asked, "Will I have to wait much longer?" She responded, "You'll be placed at the end of the line. It shouldn't take much more than another 30 minutes!" I had been fasting for over 19 hours at this point so I left. I will NEVER return to another Quest Diagnostics lab anywhere, anytime! My wife had a similar issue at another Quest Diagnostics lab where she waited over 3 hours for her blood work!
