The gamma knife department in particular is well run with good communication. There's also a pharmacy and a holistic wellness center (massage, reiki, meditation), though the latter doesn't seem to be a huge focus overall. I agree with another review that the communication between departments and the billing can be areas of headache. But the latter seems to be an issue in many Healthcare facilities. It would be great if doctors consistently looked at each patient as an individual vs relying on broad generalizations. But again, it's a systemic issue. Located across from the renovated Valley Hospital, luckow is much easier for parking and navigation purposes.

Please read this…read more I had a small but uncomfortable red spot at the base of my nostril (1/2 size of a dime, maybe smaller) This "doctor" took my urine, after examining my nose and sdvising me to FIRST, fill script THEN, follow up with my dermatologist. She said I'll be back in a few to provide you with paperwork, diagnosis and script. Someone came in, one of the staff members and hand me a cup and said she wants your urine to be tested - I had no idea why or how this could be when we were just together and it was about my nose. I asked him what for? He replied she will have to go over that with you. So I did it. This doctor came back in and I asked why she took my urine and she said, I almost don't believe I'm writing this, I've run several tests for STDs. I absolutely lost my mind! First of all who the hell is she to question anything like that she would need to ask me some questions about my sexual activity, I asked her what STDs has to do with my nose she had no answer. I left there and for some strange reason since it had been burning under my nose I figured let me fill this prescription Huge mistake! I was then in a situation where I was given a VERY strong, dangerous ointment which resulted in a SEVERE infection - taking the entire side of my face over & according to my dermatologist exasperating anything that could have been wrong to begin with as well as causing this to be 1 DAY away from my bloodstream. Despite having an appointment, they do not take you on a timely basis because they are disorganized and overwhelmed by people who are not able to complete the checking process themselves. Last time I had blood work done at this location it took over two weeks for my doctor to receive the results. I even went back to this location to ask if they still had my blood samples. After waiting twenty minutes past my appointment time I walked out without having my lab work done. In the future I would rather go anywhere else than this location and if possible, a lab other than LabCorp. Third world medical treatment. If I could I would leave a negative rating!

Everything was I don't know or call your insurance. she was very unprofessional and I felt like she rushed us because she wanted to answer a message on her phone. Didn't get a name but it was the a lady with short black hair. A simple question about a form I was suppose to sign was I don't know. She said everyone signs it so just sign it. She halfway discharged us and then was calling the patient after us while we were still standing in front of her with questions about the labs and ultrasound. Hope she learns her job better or leaves!
