Finally, after they said they would reimburse me, I still had no refrigerator and with two very small children, living out of a styrofoam ice chest has been quite difficult. Luckily, I contacted Gabe at Hudson's Appliance, and he helped make my dreams come true. I showed him my old refrigerator, and he found me something comparable in price, higher quality, and assured me that if I ever have a problem in the future, his team at Hudson will be there to help me get it repaired. I contacted him just a couple of days ago, and today our new whirlpool refrigerator was delivered and installed. They also took our broken refrigerator away! I am so grateful to Gabe and the team at Hudson's for helping this little family get back on track to normalcy.

The technician required me to choose between three costly service options before examining the issue--a practice that felt unnecessarily pressured. Despite charging double the typical rate, they were unable to resolve the clog; the technician reported that his equipment malfunctioned during the attempt. They then quoted $4,000 for what they estimated as a few hours' repair that would be done by the end of the day. He didn't have a working drain snake, but he did have the ABS parts (inexpensive) to complete a full drain replacement at more than $1000 an hour. I sought a second opinion the same day from another professional plumbing company. The second company successfully cleared the drain for $328.72, including preventive treatment. They documented that the previous work hadn't addressed the actual problem and provided photographic proof of such with our receipt. UPDATE: I got the same "call me" from Michael T. Don't want to be cursed at again and already moving forward legally.

I rarely leave negative reviews, but this experience earned one…read more James came out to diagnose our refrigerator's ice maker and was very confident he knew the problem. We approved the repair he recommended and paid for the replacement part and labor. Four days later, the ice maker still wasn't working. When I called expecting additional troubleshooting or a plan to determine the actual problem, the conversation quickly shifted to offering a partial refund on the part and suggesting we find someone else. That was surprising considering how certain he had been during the original diagnosis. What stood out throughout the experience was a level of condescension that made communication difficult. My wife witnessed him speaking to one of his own employees in a way that was genuinely uncomfortable to watch, and unfortunately that same attitude carried over into our interactions. Nobody expects a technician to be right 100% of the time. What customers do expect is professionalism, accountability, and a willingness to stand behind the diagnosis when the first repair doesn't solve the problem. My recommendation: if you hire this company, do not consider the job complete until the appliance is actually working. Replacing a part and fixing a problem are not always the same thing.
