I'm sticking with my 4-star review. From what I've seen, many of the issues other Yelpers mention seem to stem from walk-ins. Both times I scheduled an appointment, I was seen promptly with no delays. In today's visit I was called back five minutes early. Out of all the quests, this has to be the least well ran, and that's no small accomplishment. Not sure if they have only one technician working, but appointments are falling behind and don't even try and do a walk in. Talked to two techs and told them all I needed was a sample to take home and they made me do a walk in. After waiting 2 hours the tech went "oh all you needed was a sample cup? This is for quest, diagnostics completely not just at Pelandale. Since the brainiac decided to close half of the places. The customer service has gone downhill so bad. You can't find a place to go. I've gone to the Orangeburg one for years. Those poor girls in there are so overwhelmed. The little itty-bitty waiting room is always packed now. I made two appointments there and neither one I was able to actually see anybody. They kept telling me I wasn't in the system. Well, I was and I got confirmation and it just didn't matter so either they've gotta do better as a whole company to streamline this better or the doctors offices are gonna have to get contracts through other people just sad really read more

If your child is a patient at Valley Children's which is where this Quest lab is located in, don't even think about trying to do a walk in appt. This place is so overwhelmed by appointments and stand by you won't have a chance. Doesn't feel fair to have a lab inside a children's facility that kids can barely even use. Appointments have to be scheduled far in advance (because everyone floods this location) and there's no actual people to speak with. Slowest laboratory I've ever been to. I don't recommend on coming here on standby. Been here since 8am and will waiting for hours. Really horrible and not great service needs more people working........other come back and wait yet they made us leave and do stand by horrible. It's seen to be discrimination. read more

NO WALK INS, PERIOD..... This place is a complete JOKE... Walk ins don't exist, walk ins are just to fill in when someone with an appt doesn't show up.... meaning that as long as every appt shows up walk ins wouldn't ever be seen.... They don't give one "F" about your time or not seeing you for walking in. They just don't want to lose money by having someone just sitting there and dreaming about being seen... Always over booked specially if you need a morning appt. Only one person running the entire place. Don't waste your time by doing a walk in cause you wouldn't be seen. If you need a morning apportionment make sure you book within a century ahead of time. Don't ever think about using this place ! read more

First Time here and the last..checked in ..sat for a while then told can't take walk in..but took another walk in after me..

I do not recommend, I scheduled a apt for my mom here, and because she cannot speak English someone there helped getting her checked in, scanned her ID and insurance cards and they left her there waiting for more than a hr and other people came in and out and her there, my mom called me and put me on the phone with her and she found all excuses why she was not seen yet but all excuses were my moms fault and never hers, then she told me it was cancelled and asked her to wait, she waited another 30min and my mom asked again and she said they were not going to see her it was cancelled, very unprofessional and rude and I am very disappointed with the costumer service in this place I will never again schedule a apt to go here again, this lady needs to be called out for her very very bad mannerism maybe having a bad day but this is wrong read more

I have never had an issue with this location. Once I provided my coverage information thereafter it only takes scheduling an appointment on their app. read more

This location has no signs, so good luck finding it, just a heads up. Once you walk in they have a kiosk to check you in. I had went in once around 3:35p and they told me they stop taking walk-ins at 3:30p. So I left and came back the following day at 3:20 and was seen. However when I went with my husband this wasn't the case. We showed up at 3:15p checked in as a walk-in and sat down. They called the lady before us that had signed up as a walk-in and took her back right away. My husband ran to the car to grab his phone and then they called him, I let her know he was grabbing his phone and he's walking back in so then she called the next guy who had an appointment. After that another nurse walks out calling someone else's name who wasn't there, so I said "excuse me, you guys called my husbands name when he went to grab his phone, is he still on the list?" She tells me "we aren't taking walk-ins anymore." So I said "but you guys just called his name." So then we waited and they would continue to come out calling other people's names ignoring us. So finally I got up and asked "are you guys going to take him back? You called his name 4 names ago." So she grabs the girl who called his name. Then that girl lies to my face telling me she never called his name with an attitude and that they aren't taking walk-ins. I said "well we were here before 3:30 and I was told as long as we are here before then we can be seen," she says "who told you that?" and this was with an attitude and I say "someone who works here obviously." I pleaded to her saying my husband really needs these labs done, he might have cancer and hasn't been able to eat for days and his doctors are trying to get to the bottom of what's going on with him, and she looks me in the eyes and says we aren't taking walk-ins. Maybe Quest shouldn't allow walk-ins to sign in after 3p then right? But the kiosk let us sign in. There was literally one patient back there but all they seem to be concerned about is going home. If you don't care about your patients and are lacking compassion, then maybe you shouldn't be working in a facility like this. read more

This review is for your automated phone appointment and online appointment systems. They are HORRID! Your online system is an utter pain to navigate. So then I go to use your automated phone appt feature which is even WORSE. Your inept system is incapable of understanding simple names, even after spelling it out! And then it just puts you back in the most annoying loop and NEVER are you able to speak to a human. Your entire system is just completely inept, including your check in process at this location. Why do you even have a front desk when there is never anyone there??? So inept. read more
