I've been coming to this clinic for blood draws for about two years now. It's easy to get signed up as I just found Labcorp on the Internet, selected the site I want and the day and time. They send you a confirmation email with the check-in information. On the day of the visit, you can check in from the confirmation page and wait in your car till you get a text message or you can go inside and scan the kiosk from the QR code that they give you via email. I always choose just to wait in my car and it's never been a problem. I find them to be very quick in service and friendly in nature. Otherwise I would find another spot I will keep returning for my health needs. read more

A lab order was sent here for me from a 3rd party company. I received an email link from Lab Corp to set up an appointment. The online process to set up an appointment was extremely easy and quick. My visit was set up for a Friday at 1045 am. I arrived about 8 minutes early. The waiting room is fairly small with about 10 or so chairs. I used the check in machine that is located in the middle of the waiting room. The check in process was easy and took about 30 second to complete. My name was called at my appointment time. After confirming some information with the front desk, I was referred to one of the patient rooms. The phlebotomist was also the woman I spoke with at the front counter. She was professional and a pleasure to deal with. She easily found a vein to draw 2 vials of blood and asking me if I was feeling okay during the process. I was in and out within a few minutes. I know there are a lot of bad reviews of this location, but my experience was very positive and I would use Lab Corp again. read more

Got a standard blood draw on New Years Eve. The office was fairly busy, but the staff was extremely courteous and professional. Blanca and Cindy were managing the front desk helping customers with the process while Hollie got me checked in and did the blood draw. McHenry Location inside of Wal Greens - Cindy refused to do my lab work because she's "never seen it before". 3 papers showing LAB CORP & she refused. Everything she needed was included & provided in the test kit. She was on her personal cell phone talking to someone else & told them she's working with a broken toe. So unprofessional. Keep your calls work related & don't waste a patients time. I went on Friday & the phlebotomist working actually read the paper work & was going to draw my blood but we realized the order can only be done Monday through Thursday. Unfortunately she wasn't there today. I won't be back to Lab Corp. Cindy is very unprofessional & refused to do her job... drawing blood. read more

I walked in with my wife, we just got stared at for a good 5 minutes until they told to us, we needed to check-in at the touch screen tablet, great. When I got called up I was automatically asked if it was for a drug test, I told them no, a specific blood work for IVF. She looked at the lab request and she replied "SAME THING." I was baffled, I called my clinic and confirmed it was not a drug test, it was red blood cell count. Incompetent people working here. I waited for the fax to come through to them, I told them thank you but I was not confident they would order the correct lab because their worker said it was a drug test when it clearly it wasn't. I took myself down the hall to Quest & they also confirmed it was not drug test. Never coming back here again. read more

I drove 90 minutes in traffic for a confirmed appt (even had the email confirmation) at 3:00 today only to arrive and find a printed piece of paper on the door saying that due to a staffing shortage they were closed today, sorry for the inconvenience. Why couldn't someone call their confirmed appts and let them know that. Way to waste my afternoon and a half a tank of gas, horrible company. read more

I walked in for a regular labs ordered by my primary care physician. As a physician, i understand clinical visits or lab checks or anything that might be related to health care might not be pleasant. Dont use online schedule. Today scheduled an appointment on line and it was confirmed. Arrived and checked in on line, it verified I was checked in. Labcorp at Walgreens on McHenry in Modesto. System told me to wait in car until they text you.... Never recieved a text,went inside, signs were posted that the location was closed andto go to florida ave. Location for service. Went there and Checked in , waited for almost an hour. Only one person working, she said that I was to be called, since they knew it was closed. ............ I see you have posted your holiday hours online however I don't understand why you would not post them on the door at this location. Several seniors were waiting at 7 o'clock this morning there was not a note on the door they would be opening late. Due to the holiday they opened at eight this morning. When I asked the employees why they would not have holiday hours posted for their they Just shrugged their shoulders and informed me they would not be drawing anyone after 1130 either. read more

Don't bother calling, even though there is an employee plopt right on the front desk chair she does nothing and won't pick up the phone. She is also the urine collector. Never going to this place again, rude staff overall. No wonder they always have openings, no one wants to come here. Watch out for rude, uncaring, and incompetent Nadine. If l could give it no stars I would. The female Rhianna that was collecting the urine samples was extremely rude. She would cut you off when trying to ask a question. The other patients around us in the hallway were talking about how rude she was to them. My daughter had an appointment and they took patients that didn't have appointments in before her. What's the reason for appointments then? Companies should not do business with them for their drug screenings. read more

Went in yesterday for a Urinalysis for preemployment the collector notified me that I needed to be out of the restroom within three minutes I got in there set my cup on the counter and went to put a toilet seat cover on the toilet seat and noticed that there was urine and pubic hair all over the toilet seat, it was filthy I went and told the tech the situation and she looked at her watch she was really put off by the fact that I had been in there for "so long " (maybe a minute) without already peeing and came in and pointed to the toilet paper to show me that I could've wiped down the toilet seat myself. This is a laboratory environment and they are collecting urine it should be a sanitary environment . The people testing aren't allowed to flush the toilet so the techs have to flush after each test and clearly that toilet hadn't been wiped down in a very long time. She proceeded to notate that I had taken longer in the bathroom than specified but failed to notate that their toilet was filthy full of urine and pubic hairs. The collectors name was Nadine she was extremely rude and treated me like a parolee. I wouldn't recommend anybody go to this lab I've been to other labs for tests and nothing is quite as disgusting as LabCorp on Florida Ave in Modesto. Horrible customer service I've been calling for 2 days now and no answer. Phone just rings 2 maybe 3 times then goes silent

Had to travel 40 miles to the nearest location for a pre employment screening. After fighting heavy traffic and a train delay I arrived a few minutes late, so I knew my appointment was going to be void. Most rude women in the world behind the desk. Not even a greeting, just "Are you here for blood work!?". I told her no I was running a little late for a drug test appointment. She tells me in the most condescending and loud tone of voice, that because I'm 13 minutes late and it's 3 minutes past 11am there's nothing they can do for me untill 130pm. Mind you the office is completely empty of other patients entirely. I understand the importance of being on time but sometimes stuff happens on the road and your late. I tried to call prior to arrival no one answered. Just ridiculous how they treat people like they're essential, a trained potato could do their jobs.. I advise you go elsewhere. read more

I was surprised by the service I got because of others reviews. The staff was friendly, professional and explained everything to me before hand and answered any questions I had with 0 attitude. My wife and I went to LabCorp in Florida Ave. Modesto @10:30 10/5/18. When we walked in, there was 0 patient. A woman Christy murmured something to us. I asked her to repeat what she said. She raised her voice to the point of yelling" I told u already". I started to put my driver's license in the machine, it did not work. Christy angrily came out and tried to use the machine to register, she had a lot of difficulty too. Since she was so angry, we decided not to deal with this mad healthcare worker. We walked out and went across hallway to have tests done by Quest diagnostics. There were 18 patients waiting in Quest Diagnostics. Worker @ Q. D. treated us very politely and professionally, registration was easy and after registration, they were able to draw our specimens in 5 minutes after registration. What a difference. That says why Q diagnostics had 18 patients, LabCorp had 0 patients. I just want patients to know that we have choices. If they don't treat us well or they are angry, just walk out and go to other Lab.( same applied to doctors' offices) We don't have to have a new doctor's order form. Just use the form your doctor ordered for you and do tests in other lab. I am a medical doctor practicing in Modesto area for 39 years. I am a patient advocate, giving lectures in community centers and social gatherings on how to choose good doctors and other healthcare providers. One point I emphasize all the time is avoiding angry healthcare providers. They are usually emotionally unstable. The mad lab. workers could do horrible things to patients. They could draw blood with contaminated needles, or switch your specimens to hurt you or even frame you etc. Be aware with the mad healthcare providers. The way Christy yelled @me, I suspect she might have thought I were one of those Asian refugees who were on Medi-Cal, who doesn't understand English,so she could say whatever she wanted. Bad! We have used LabCorp in the past to obtain blood samples for tests which my wife needs done while undergoing her chemo treatments. In all previous occasions we have had superb and professional service. No complaints whatsoever. That completely changed yesterday. I had received an invoice from LabCorp on Fri with a Past Due stamp on the front of the form. I sent a copy of this to my insurance agent and was advised there should be no issue since they take care of all Part B invoices. Tues we went in for a routine blood draw and was advised by a lab tech that my wife's account was locked out due to non payment. I informed her of the invoice I had received, and indicated this was the ONLY invoice I had received from them. She acknowledged that this was very possible as their billing dept was way behind in their work. Yet she could not allow my wife to have an exam due to a billing issue indicated on her computer. She did have the decency to call her billing office and determine what the billing was for, as we were told by our Oncologist that all tests would be Medicare approved. She was advised by a billing clerk that one test ordered by our Doctor was not approved by Medicare and not paid by Medicare or our insurance (a common policy among insurance companies: Medicare doesn't pay, they don't pay.) My wife was now visibly upset and in tears and a complete emotional wreck. Not willing to allow any further stress upon my wife, I went ahead and paid the invoice advising them I would be checking on this issue. By the time I paid the invoice it was now approx 35 minutes since we had been there. After having her blood drawn, I went home and contacted our Oncologist who checked the order they had sent LabCorp. It was determined that LabCorp personnel had performed the WRONG test; a costlier test to the one ordered by our Doctor. Medicare disapproved paying this test naturally, and the fiasco began, to conclude with a 35 minute exposure of ineptness, any lack of consideration for the patient and/or client, and complete unprofessional behavior upon a company and its employees. Our nurse contacted LabCorp and faxed them the original order they went by on the day of the blood draw. In it was written the specific test to be performed; not the one they performed which Medicare refused to pay. A LabCorp employee did contact my wife later that afternoon and apologized for the confusion, admitting it was their error for the whole ordeal. They did state the money would be redeposited into my account... ..within 5-7 working days! WTF over! They refused to treat my wife unless I paid right then and there, and yet would not receive my funds until almost a week from now. Pissed, damn straight! Due to a LabCorp tech not reading the order correctly we were forced to endure a period of emotional trauma NO patient should have to endure. read more
