I really have mixed reviews…read more My first visit was great. Prompt attention. Spent time with me and educated professional. This time around I went for pink eye. I was the only one in the office and brought back immediately. The technician took my vitals and I thought I would be in and out! I hear someone loudly talking outside the room about their weekend plans and their wife and kids. 20 minutes go by and I open the door to ask the technician if the doctor will see me soon and she pointed to the guy on the phone who even made eye contact with me and she said "when he is done with his calll". He made me wait an additional 10 minutes while he wrapped up sharing his stories. He came in looked at me and said I will call you in drops. Needless to say he never did and I had to follow up. I can take waiting and even following up for prescription but the inconsideration and power move he pulled on me is unprofessional and rude.

The doctor that checked my son out, said he had scabies. She barely looked at his hand one minute she said that we all need to get treated and then the next minute she was like no you're fine. I was like what the heck how can one minute you say that we need to get treated in the next minute you take it back. I ended up taking him to his regular pediatrician and she acted, looked at him, looked in his mouth and he had hand foot and mouth disease. This is like the third time that they misdiagnosed this and I was supposed to go away tomorrow thank God I went to my regular pediatrician because I could've spread that like wild fire. I WILL NEVER EVER GO BACK TO THIS TERRIBLE PLACE AGAIN! Where do these dr's even get there certification from?! Is that hard to diagnose kids?!

Unfortunately, our recent visit with Dr. Fishkind was an awful experience and, without question, the worst interaction I have ever had with a doctor. He was completely dismissive of our concerns and implied that we were overreacting. His behavior toward both my preteen daughter and me was extremely rude and lacking any empathy. Parents do not bring their children to urgent care lightly. We were there because our child was in pain and needed prompt medical attention, yet Dr. Fishkind made us feel as though we were wasting his time. The experience was humiliating and deeply upsetting. After reading other reviews, it is clear there is a consistent pattern of similar behavior from this doctor--dismissiveness and misdiagnosis. It is disappointing and surprising that PM Pediatrics appears to have taken no action to address this issue. PM Pediatrics used to be a reliable and excellent option when our pediatrician was unavailable. After this experience, we will not be returning.

She is so considerate of the person on the other end of the call without losing track of the people waiting to have a test done. When she got off the phone earlier today as I was waiting to be called in for a blood test, I. turned to the woman sitting next to me and asked her, "Have you ever heard a receptionist be more concerned than she is with people whose calls she is receiving? and she replied, "I was thinking the same thing myself." I recently went to her for my yearly physical, she has been my primary doctor for years and I have had no issues until this year. Once my parent had left the room she kept asking me why I gained weight with the points on the chart being her only data, no labs or anything to indicate an actual medical issue caused by or influencing weight. She told me that at my age I should not be gaining weight, only losing or staying the same. She also likened my mental health medication to a weight loss drug and claimed that by now "they should be working to help me lose appetite and thus weight" even though it is a non-desired side effect that has nothing to do with why I take it. She also insisted that I should see an endocrinologist to help lose weight as well as a nutritionist to get me in a diet without any confirmation that the weight gain is a detriment to my health. I repeatedly told her that I saw no issue with my weight and she kept pushing as if it was a requirement for me to have the same skinny bodies as the rest of my family. This experience was absolutely unacceptable, for a pediatrician to have such disregard for growing people's self image and to insult them and their body repeatedly when they are alone in the room with the patient is despicable. Later that day when confronted with choice of meal I actually started crying and nearly had a panic attack because of what she said to me. This is the kind of behavior that gives people eating disorders that can kill them. After speaking with my therapist and psychiatrist about the situation and how much it affected me they informed me they knew of Dr. Knowles and that my bad experience was not the first they heard. Truly shame on you.

Apparently insurance companies no longer cover some basic tests, and conviniently, the Minute Clinic staff doesn't have the latest coverage info from the insurance companies. They will make you sign a generic form stating that you will cover any services not covered by your insurance, and then send you a ridiculous bill. Sure, their services price list is posted on their website, however, even if the Minute Clinic is 'in network" provider for your insurance, there is no information on what is covered. You will have to know IN ADVANCE what the nurse practitioner at the Minute Clinic will decide to test you for during your visit, so you can call your insurance - IN ADVANCE - to confirm coverage. And DO check before you go, or you will have to pay the RIDICULOUS bill.

I called multiple times for my meds and was told several times it was sent the pharmacy but the pharmacy never received it. And when I called back to check they said " oh we don't have anything on record for meds" even though they confirmed they sent it before, then I was given the run around between this location and the aftercare to get my prescription, transfer back and forth daily calls after my visit and I still didn't get my meds. And on top of that I was given the wrong diagnosis. When I followed up with the specialist I found out I had a fracture in my toe and that they said there was nothing wrong. Never going back to this place again. Very unprofessional
