I am the last person to write a bad review, but this experience got me on here to do just that. Not a great experience. I took my 2 year old in for blood work (lead check). The check-in process was very smooth.. which is the only reason I'm giving two stars.. I was able to do it right from my phone. I then received a phone call where the caller failed to address who was calling, just simply said "can you come inside" (with a rude tone). The phlebotomist, I'm guessing the same lady that called me, was very unprofessional and rude the whole time. I work in the medical field and someone like this lady should not be working with pediatric patients (at the least). She was completely unwelcoming.. got snappy with me when I wasn't holding my daughter down exactly how she wanted me to and made my daughter even more uncomfortable than she already was getting a needle in her arm. She did not have gauze ready when she pulled out the needle, which freaked my daughter out (seeing blood). I took her to this location because it read good reviews on here stating that the phlebotomist they had was great with children.. so I thought I would try it out. One word: Ouch!!!! I made the appointment the previous evening. Originally I tried searching on LabCorp's site for any appointment in NJ for Saturday morning. The site was not very cooperative or they didn't have enough locations with open slots... I couldn't tell, site was not every friendly. I decided to try Quest Diagnostics. After playing around with the Quest site for a few minutes, I got a listing of all available slots in NJ for Saturday morning... BINGO! I made an appointment at this Livingston location. While on their home page I found they have an iPhone app, not only can you use this app to make appointments, but also to keep all your healthcare information in one place: Healthcare providers Insurance Info Reminders Preferred Pharmacy And... Hypochondriacs and hoarders rejoice!!!! what impressed me the most.... You can request your lab results be sent to the app! I never, ever see or hear back about any lab results, which I am very grateful for, but I think this is a great feature. We do pay for these services yet we are never provided with this information directly. What a great idea!! What we will do with this information once we have it, who knows, but we at least we have it gosh darn it! One more thing to hoard and obssess about! Back to the scheduled review.... I arrived 15 minutes early to my appointment. It was last Saturday morning, I bought some paperwork I needed to review, my iPhone, charger, a magazine... As soon as I signed in and sat down, my name was called and I was immediately setup and taken care of. I didn't even have a moment to panic, not one to waste an opportunity, I started panicking as we made our way to the guillotine... It was over before my panicking hit its high note, my Lab person (what are they called) was super fast! My visit was a short one however, one worth noting. My appointment was at 10:15, I showed up about 5 min beforehand with a fully charged battery on my iPhone and extra reading material expecting the typical medical visit wait time. I signed in and greeted the woman at the desk letting her know I was present. The office was pleasantly quite with plenty of seats and a water cooler for your convenience should you arrive unable to operate your task on an empty tank. To my surprise at 10:25 ish my name was called, paperwork signed and off to the ladies room I go! The woman who was on duty was very professional to the point and had me in and out of there by 10:40. 4 stars for Yay! I'm a fan for my first visit to this Quest location. I went around 7:45am on a Monday morning. I waited at the most 10 minutes since there were no appointments available in the morning on the website for some reason. It was probably the quickest blood draw I ever had. I mean she was just poked me once and VOILA! DONE! She totally rocks compared to my last visit to Quest in Mountainside where she poked me like 3 times on each arm and failed. read more

Nasty staff. 1 hour wait as walk in at 745am. No answers regarding how long the wait would be. After the whole waiting room was phlebotomized, I asked to be done so I could get to work, and I was threatened to be removed. If you're planning on using this Quest, make an appointment! I was told I would be next, and another person was called. I'm sure they will use a harpoon to take my blood, and the wait is ridiculous. read more

By far the worst quest diagnostics location I ever been too. They are so slow they don't even go by the appointments it's ridiculous. I went on my lunch break to get a test done and I was way over my lunch break . This is why I will stick with the Hackensack,N.J. location they would never be unorganized like Livingston. read more

Horrible experience for COVID testing. Would not recommend If you are relying on test results to come back within specified time. Staff was not helpful at all. We were literally thrown out of the office. read more

I was supposed to bring over a sample for testing, prescribed by my doctor after suffering an infection and taking 2 weeks worth of antibiotics. My doctor told me to just drop off the sample at Quest Diagnostics in Livingston - no appointment necessary. When I arrived there earlier today, I was met with unbelievable attitude from the technician who strictly told me she wouldn't be able to see me or have me drop off my sample because they only take patients who make prior appointments. I told her my doctor said I don't need an appointment and she had this bitchy attitude toward me and told me I'd have to wait until all the patients who had appointments were seen. I told her I didn't have that kind of time, as I was on my lunch hour. I think Quest should shut this office down - the attitude of the people working here is abhorring! Why should a sick patient have to put up with this kind of behavior from anyone much less someone who is going to analyze their sample? I don't trust my sample in this tech's hands and I distrust that she'll do a good job. If you don't like your job - leave. There are others who will gladly do the work you are doing. But in the health industry you MUST have a courteous attitude. You don't know what kind of hell a patient is going through. I will never return here! read more

The check-in is very efficient as it is done through text and we got the check-in confirmation right away. The place is spot clean and the staffs are very friendly and accommodating to my girls. They are patient even if my younger one cried a lot. read more

They stopped testing for ketones. Anyone that uses the ketogenic diet is now left with less options to get tested. They refused to speak to me, as a parent, and couldn't care less. Welcome to trump world! Disgusting and reprehensible. Shame on you quest. Shame read more

I had to drop off a specimen for my elderly mother, and when I got there I had to register in the reception area, and found that I was supposed to wait 31 minutes for them to text me as I was a "walk-in". I had no idea I had to make an appointment to drop a specimen. So I waited in my car to receive a text to go back in, and never received anything. 40 minutes later I went back inside to inquire, but nobody came out to the reception area for so long, that I poked inside the door to just ask if I needed to keep waiting to just drop a specimen, and was very rudely told by a woman there that I had to wait, she had no idea how much longer it would be, and she was with someone and they were busy. How ridiculous, just to drop off a specimen. Ironically, I never received a text to be seen even by that evening. I would never go back to this lab. P.S. The doctor's office who instructed me to take it there, were surprised to hear about all this and said I did not need an appointment to drop it off. What a waste of time. read more

I was so nervous to go in today with my 2year old cause last time we came to this location they poked my daughter so many times and weren't able to get her blood, we had to go back today for her blood work and Diedra was heaven sent, she poked once and my baby didn't even cry, I was so happy and I highly recommend her, she's super sweet and patient. All the other staff were also super sweet and made this experience a great one. read more

I did have a good experience bringing my son here. Although we did wait for some time but the nurse was patient and calm, she did a great job to get blood from my 5 year old son by getting the needle in ONE TRY. We did calm our son by distracting him. Still, I am happy with the nurse. I do think Livingston and Montclair location are good. read more

I came here a month ago for a certain test which on their website they had but when I showed up they said they could not perform that test. A few phone calls to my doctor and back to quest diagnostics just made the situation worse and I lost half the day trying to get the test done. I eventually went to another Quest Center that had the test available. read more

The worse place to have a test done !!! I was there on Saturday for a Drug Screen Test. After 50 mins waiting, they walked me in the room and then forgot about me. While I was there a could hear their private conversations and work issues. They didn't care the Waiting room area was full of patients waiting, I was told results will be sen it out to my new employer in a 24/48 hours frame. Up to now its almost a week and they can not find my file. ugh !!!!! read more
