Quest Diagnostic Blood Draw on Wednesday 11-08-2023 651 N US Hwy 183 Ste 155, Leander, TX 78641 Clarissa needs training on how to properly draw blood. She prodded with the needle for two minutes causing me continuously high pain in my right arm just to tell me she did not draw any blood. I was well hydrated and my veins in my arm are highly visible and easy to draw blood from. It has now been over two days and my arm still hurts at incision point from Clarissa probing me with the the syringe needle. The picture is of my left arm two days after the blood draw that Clarissa went to after being unsuccessful drawing blood from my right arm. I never had any bruises or issues from dozens of blood draws over the last 30 years. In fact I been complemented many times on how visible the veins in my arms are and how easy it is to draw my blood.

One day after my one shot.

Friday morning, just on big black dude working here who claims he's been doing this for 21 years. This is my second time here for this week coz I forgot one of the paper work at home. Same guy helped me, same demeanor, very unfriendly and looks like he is about to fight you. The moment he walks out to door to call the next patient, he has a terrible frown and a gangster look on him. I mean, dang.... I hate needles and his demeanor does NOT help my nerves!

The waiting area. Kind of makes a Greyhound bus lounge look like a Hyatt, doesn't it?

Quest in Leander, TX 78641, should properly train their employees before they place them in the field to take blood.

Jamal did a great job by only doing 1 stick to get my blood and he stayed late for the type of test I had to have. Thx Jamal!

Jamal at the Leander location was very professional, for a person that's not a fan of needles he made it so easy.

On July 10th I felt very bad ( high fiver 102-103). My wife brought me to Austin regional clinic to…read moreshow me to the doctor. In general, all nurses and other employees did their job very good. They took flu test, other tests, blood test etc and doctor said - don't worry, it's just VIRUS infection and just do what you have been doing last 3-4 days (high doze of ibuprofen ). We came back home . In the night and next day situation became even worse - body temperature was about (103f) and severe headache . Then we went to Emergency (St. David's North Austin Medical Center) where they diagnosed pneumonia and said that it was NOT Virus but bacterial infection. They also told me that they surprised that previous doctor didn't give me right dosage of ibuprofen in line with my weight. That's explained why I couldn't stop temperate increase for many days. My conclusion after visit of Austin regional clinic cedar park. Pros : good and friendly team, easy to book visit Cons: doctor was not competent enough or attentive enough to make right diagnose . Totally worthless visit for me and money I will pay for this visit
