The actual business is located inside Randalls, adjacent to the pharmacy which was yet another great convenience. This location is relatively new having only been opened since October 2016 so everything was clean and pristine. I arrived 5 minutes early, signed in and waited about 2 minutes before being called. I had the pleasure of dealing with a wonderful and proficient phlebotomist named Katrina. She had no problems drawing blood and luckily I didn't feel a thing. All in all, it was a great experience, I will definitely be utilizing this location in the future.

My experience with Quest Diagnostics' "Easy Pay" process left me extremely angry and distrustful…read more While I was sitting in the treatment room, Easy Pay was presented by the clinician in a manner that appeared indistinguishable from paying a normal copay. It was not clearly explained that this was a separate financial authorization under which Quest could retain my card information and potentially charge it later after insurance processed the claim. I later called Quest customer service for clarification. The representative seemed unaware that Easy Pay was being used this way and repeatedly insisted that only my copay was being charged. I specifically asked whether she was positive, and she assured me that she was. Her explanation was incorrect. If Quest's own customer-service representatives cannot distinguish Easy Pay from a routine copay, patients cannot reasonably be expected to understand what they are authorizing while sitting in a treatment room. The opacity surrounding this program is so pervasive that I am left with the strong impression that the ambiguity is purposeful. Patients should receive a clear explanation that Easy Pay is optional and separate from a copay, including exactly what is being authorized, when the card may be charged, and how to revoke that authorization. Quest should also provide a prominent online cancellation option and properly train its employees. Presenting an optional financial authorization during a clinical interaction, while failing to make its consequences unmistakably clear, felt manipulative and completely unacceptable. I am sharing this experience so other patients know to ask detailed questions before providing Quest with a payment card.

I stop in Monday to get a testing done…read moreimmediately once receiving the request. -1 Prior to driving to the location, I called and no one answered, no rerouted calls, it just disconnects. -1 Showing up right at 12:30 and being told they away for lunch for one hour. The blank trip just sent me. I return today at 11:35pm and I was in and out. Front desk lady keyed in my details and politely informed Vanessa, who got me in and out. (Vanessa told me she could've got me yesterday at 12:31 while I was here). She also explained that the testing and results are all done in house at this location, and reports for results turn around are within 24 hours! Which is great! The restroom paper towels definitely need to issue out more than a piece of paper that won't cover both hands. But all went well and all was very friendly today. I was there less than 15 minutes.

Sixty days later I got a charge on my credit card. I never saw a copy of a bill. Never had a chance to appeal insurance denial. And never was allowed to ask my doctor to explain the tests ordered to-insurance co . If this is quest's new procedure. I'm out! They should re-evaluate unauthorized use of credit cards.
