This place is a ridiculous zoo. I had an early morning appointment, but still waited 45 minutes to be seen. And that was on a slow morning. I returned a few days later to drop off specimens in the late morning and not only was the waiting room completely full, but it was overflowing into the hallway. I can't imagine how long those people waited. The waiting room experience is also similar to an ER. Think screaming, crying children, people having overly loud cell phone conversations, a few unsavory looking types, etc. The nurses were nice enough, although a bit rough (I don't recall ever being jabbed for blood before). If I have to have more labs done, I think I will try a different location. read more

Love this place! You can receive ur test results by cell/email. And i love that their website...you can choose the time of your appt. And the staff was gery nice...didn't leave any bruising and the place was VERY CLEAN! Will always drive out of my way to come here for my lab work! It seems the staff loves their jobs! Always nice to see faces when you walk into a business. I wish i knew the young lady who helped me...she was pleasant and funny! read more

Recently went to give a urine culture. I made an appointment on-line so everything went smooth. Staff was pleasant and took care of business. I also had a chance to see how they handled small frighten children when it came to drawing their blood. A++. Nice and clean environment. Would go back to this location again. read more

I arrive at 10am on Monday, but the front desk person advises me that I need to return another day at 8am due to the test requiring blood be drawn by 9am and that I have to advise front end staff it is a timed test. So I rearrange my schedule to come back at 8am on Friday. No one is at the front desk as they open but a sign in sheet. At 8:15am a woman arrives at the desk and I advise her of what I was told and she advises me it is not a timed test. Because of this I had to reschedule my doctors appointment due to results not being available in time. You would think that in a medical field where time is of the essence that they would be thorough and concise. I will never again return to this location. read more

I have visited this location twice for bloodwork sine they are in-network with my insurance. I made an appointment both times and was seen with little wait time which was great. Making an appointment is really easy on their website. They have a lot of seating, the facility is clean, and the staff was professional. There is a shared parking lot as well as street parking. Since I went in the morning both times I didn't have any issues with parking. I also was able to get my results from their online portal once ready which was super helpful since my prior doctor failed to give me a copy of the results. If needed I would definitely make future appointments here. read more

To many complaints for this location huh?. I was lucky until today. I arrived 15 minutes before my 11am appointment, and I was taken 11:34am. This young lady Allyson B, came to withdraw my blood. I mention her which arm was good to her, just because I know my body system and was was trying to help her to avoid wrong needle pokes. And...she gave me the worst attitude I ever had...Guess what? Allyson did a bad poke in my vein and hurt my arm, and I requested another person to do the job.She gave me a bad attitude, besides she was receiving personal text messages and texting while working. Dulce came to help me and she was absolutely amazing! and everything was great! But by the end here it comes Allyson telling her colleague thanks in front of me and asking using bad attitude for Dulce to leave her room. Dulce responded very sweet to her. People stay away from Allyson who works at Hawthorne branch. She is very young and I believe she is just can do her job well needs training. Second time today is July 13th 2020, my appointment was 11am, and I was in this location at 8:33 am, there was a huge very disorganized line with tons of people that just steps in and they don't have an appointment. Here it comes this extremely old man that was working there ( in my opinion he should be retired) he has doing a horrible job showing to me the list of people that was in the waiting list. People who stepped in whiteout appointments. He told me that he couldn't take me early and I explained that I had an appointment at 11am he told me that he was going to assist first people who had stepped in???Now I ask this organization what's the advantage to have an appointment or NOT. Even when I have appointment they make me wait at least 20 minutes each time, they are never on time! This location has three only three stars. They should have 0 zero. First time here and I hope I never have to come back! It is 2:50 PM and I had an appointment at 2. After waiting half hour and asking how much longer, I was finally called in at 2:50. The female staff member kept calling other patients who came in after me or had later appointments. Another patient had been waiting since 1:30 and at 2:30 had not been called. Staff members are not friendly at all. No smile or any sign of courtesy. I mean I would like a little bit of friendliness or a smile if you are going to draw blood just so that I can feel at ease. My first time here.Not too crowded.I did make an appointment even though they take walk-ins.It's a small lab.with very little space even for parking.My appointment was for 2pm.and found a parking spot.Customer service was excellent.They could not find my order at first in the computer but I did not wait too long before I had my tests done.So it is better to schedule an appointment than walking in.So I had a good experience here.Also maybe I went in the afternoon that helped,too. read more

i went in for some blood work today. i usually go to the quest diagnostics in pasadena on madison street, but today i was in the neighborhood and choose to come here. long story short, they tried to charge me 215 dollars for patient responsibility. i told them that im pretty sure i have sufficient funds for my medical to fully cover it. she insisted on charging me or getting billed later after my insurance company reviews it. so wait a minute... WHY IS SHE TRYING TO CHARGE ME $215 BEFORE MY INSURANCE REVIEWS IT??? i told her i'll check the bill later and had my blood drawn. i called my insurance company later on today and found that i did have enough money in my funds to pay for my blood work. thats fraud what they tried to do to me. thank god i DIDNT PAY UP FRONT LIKE SHE INSISTED. the quest diagnostics in pasadena never tried to charge me. you know why? BECAUSE THEY KNOW WHAT THEY ARE DOING BY LETTING MY INSURANCE COMPANY HANDLE THE BILLING. i would never recommend this place to anyone... id rather drive to my regular place in pasadena... even if i am stuck in this neighborhood again! also, when i was at the front desk getting checked in, one of the ladies kept saying, "oops shows how much we pay attention" and kept giggling about their mishandling. how unprofessional... read more
