Had a sample that I just had to drop off in a sealed bag and was told to wait for all the people prior to be helped. My paperwork and sample was all ready. Makes absolutely no sense to make me wait for people to have complete blood draws, etc. just to check paperwork and drop off my sample. To top it off, the technician was rude and racist. She had the audacity to multiple times call me the wrong full name -- which included a traditional Asian last name. She never apologized after I corrected her twice. Completely unacceptable. read more

This was my first time at this lab facility to get blood drawn. The waiting time was not bad because I had signed in after there lunch break. I was second in line The lady at the front desk was friendly. I did not mean to startled her while she was watching TV. She was kind and sent me to the area where blood is drawn. The phlebotomist, dark haired short, late thirties, early forties, came up to me, with a smile and informed me or said, "did your doctor give you this kit on June 12". I said no. I never seen my doctor on the 12th of June. The phlebotomist gave me this kit that test ,to see if you have blood in your stool. She conducted this conversation in the middle of the room with six or eight people behind me. I felt pretty awkward and embarrassed. She could have taken me in one of the cubicles to withdrawn my blood and discuss the function of this kit. Instead, she took the next person in line and I waited for another phlebotomist to withdrawal my blood. The first phlebotomist professionalism and etiquette was awful. read more

Popped in to get some "male only" things looked at. Lol Staff always on point, and they'll do their best to get you in/out. This location in particular is super popular, near the beach, the big shot Playa Vista community, the movies, etc. As a result, many tech and entertainment people go out of their way to come to this location. And while they take walk-ins, I'd highly recommend making an appointment online or you just might come in and get caught up doing a whole lot of people watching before your name is called. Lol The CSA of this experience (and to be quite honest multiple visits here) beyond a shadow of a doubt was Ms. Olga-who is essentially a super nice and kind gatekeeper here. (I know because I got two hugs today one going in and out)! With the current arrangement (and this is going back perhaps even a year or two now-maybe longer), you simply can't get to the lab without her greenlight. Lol Olga gets you beyond the locked key card scan only door with the lab itself being way, way, way down the hall. So try to bring a smile along with you as she'll certainly have one or two ready for you! Olga is a credit to building management as a whole, and to LabCorp as well! read more

Labcorp - Ready to be shipped! Or picked up! - Laboratory Testing Near Me - Los Angeles, California

I went to labcorp, Playa Vista office for a blood test today. My veins are extremely difficult to draw from. It is rarely successful without three or more attempts. EMIKO was able to do it in one stick!! She was patient and kind and I am so grateful that she was there to help me today. I highly recommend her. read more

Had to leave a review because this was such a swift and kind process. Were greeted at the door and told exactly what we need + given clear instructions. The nurse that drew my blood was so personable and I love how she prepped me for the needle with breathing (I got nervous about needles). Quick easy, efficient, and clean. read more

Went here on a Tuesday at 4:10 without an appointment. I was greeted by a friendly lady at the reception desk, who was very nice and helpful. When it was my turn I went to the back labcorp office, checked in and was seen within 7 minutes. Everyone was very friendly. I have nearly impossible veins to find and they were about to fine one pretty easily. I really liked how they did not try to guess where one was, they took their time and did not just poke around. I would absolutely recommend this LabCorp. read more

I have to give a shoutout to the friendliness and helpfulness of this staff. I needed to get tested at a Lab Corp but was sent to a location that is closed (Hopefully Corporate updates this somewhere about the 1400 Grand Ave location). The woman checking folks in was great and held her job down beautifully, and one of the lab technicians had to give me the disappointing news that they couldn't help me BUT was kind enough to call the closest location on my behalf and told them I was coming. I was pissed but due to the kindness I just wanted to say THANK YOU! Then as I was trying to be pissed as I walked out the lady who checks people in says "drink your water, stay hydrated..." which was a nice thought although I wasn't even seen. Thank you for the great service even if only a few minutes. read more

Lab work.Diane F..She was a genius at handling old angry folks..Mad first thing in the morning.. Didn't want to check in with help I gave her a hug ..For her kindness..She drew my blood so professional.. Usually it takes a minute to find my floating veins..Not for Diane F.Miss Sherry G.is an original ..multitasker .She gets it in on the floor and behind the desk..Gotta wake up and get there early.. because they do have a large crowd of patients..I went to the one on 3440 lomita Suite 136 Torrance CA.. read more

This LABCORP is located in Playa Vista on the corner of Jefferson Boulevard and South Westlawn Avenue. Parking entrance is on Westlawn Avenue. Parking is not free and costs $2 every 15 minutes. LABCORP does not validate. Their days and hours are Monday through Friday, 8 am to 4:30 pm, and are closed for lunch between 12:30 pm and 1:30 pm. They are located on the third floor. Reservations are suggested but I've never gotten one and with one exception around the holidays I never waited very long. This time I only needed blood work and not a urine test. I arrived shortly after 9 a.m. and was out within a half hour. Every phlebotomy technician I've had has been skillful and made the process pain free. Yeah! read more

The lab techs are great very skillfully and nice. If you have questions forget calling. They will only make things more complicated. Was so much better just getting blood draws at the doctors office read more

I arrived a little early and was seen immediately. Staff was kind, and patient with my nervousness as I didn't know WHAT was going on until I did. It's located inside a fancy little St. John's. My go-to if I ever need blood work again. read more

I hate HATE the wait for the Labcorp on Jeffferson. Why do they have such a small lab in this building. Always have to wait.

LabCorp at the Jefferson location, does not have anyone doing intake, except the phlebotomists, which means that people that need to have their blood drawn after sitting in the waiting room for about 20 minutes then you go into the area to sit in a chair for about 20 minutes in the blood drawing cubicle waiting to get their blood drawn. I am a needle phobic and it causes me great distress to have to go through this process. Also, when you hand them the paperwork to have your blood drawn, they do not look on the computer to see if there is other standing orders that need to be done. I find this extremely unprofessional and damaging to the client. read more

The office was nice and the check-in process was simple. I was supposed to receive results within 24-48 hours. After 72 hours I contacted them asking for updates and they said it is still pending results. It has now been a full week and they said they have no record me being there even though I had three vials of my blood drawn, confirmed my name and birthday, and double checked that I was good to go. If you want to take time off work to do testing and them have them lose it, this is the place to go! read more

Anna had a bad attitude. She was not patient with me. She was not helpful. I don't know why people go into the service business that have a non/friendly disposition. I was not warmly greeted and she acted irritated when I asked her a question. Quest employees are way more friendly. This is my first time and will be my last if I can help it. read more

Friendly, efficient and reliable laboratory. I go to the Playa Vista location on Jefferson Blvd. Its staff is very friendly. Make an appointment in advance to cut the wait time. read more

Super clean, very professional and a great experience. Byron was gentle, quick and lovely. The day before my daughter had a terrible experience getting blood drawn and having to stop mid way because the technician was an absolute nightmare (UCLA @ 16th). We booked labcorp based on the good reivews. Byron saved my daughter from being terrified of bloodwork for the rest of her life. Thank you! read more

Organized, clean, professional and respectful. Takes a bit to find an availability for appointments so plan ahead and keep checking the schedule on the website. User friendly. Kind and patient staff. read more

Pretty simple. park and then go to the top Floor using the stairs or elevator. A nice man at a circle deck will direct you and check you in. You will even see a sign "Labcorp" behind him. I just follow the driving directions, parking splits into two, upper and lower. I went to the upper. It's paid parking. Then took stairs up to top. Don't over think it. read more

My very first ever Yelp review will go to Raquita at Labcorp on Jefferson. I've had quite a bit of medical trauma this last year, and things that used to be worry free for me-like blood draws-are now a little more heavy. Raquita was the perfect blend of highly skilled competence and effortless friendliness. She was so kind and calming. I'm so grateful to have had such an easy, pain-free, and somehow--fun!--experience. I wish she could do all my labs. Oh yeah-and I made an appt. and got in and out extremely fast. read more

I had a great experience here! I found free street parking and the directional signage to the lab was great. I had an appointment for 2pm and checked in 15 minutes early (as they advised). They took me right away and I was in and out in less than 15 minutes. I don't remember the name of the women who did my bloodwork, but she was awesome, friendly, kind and made the entire experience a good one. A far cry from my horrible experience at Quest. I highly recommend this lab!!! read more

Great customer service. Appointment to draw labs but no order there. They were very helpful and patience with us and even got our number to call us when the order was there we did not have to wait. That's excellent customer service!! read more

I have always had great service at this Labcorp, both for myself and my son. Very friendly and efficient staff.

Very difficult to get to the office - no security to direct you, elevator didn't work, walked up 3 flights of stairs knocked at door waited for 5 mins no answer. Walked back downstairs ran into a person who directed me to another set of elevators. There was no waiting check in was easy, the tech was professional. Need better instructions into building read more

Xiomara was absolutely amazing and her needle was painless, coming back for her. The facility is so so nice too and all the girls were super nice! read more

I went in for tests I've been having done for over five years at least three times a year. Always has been covered by Medicare and my gap insurance. Every single time. This time, however, the phlebotomist walked over with an invoice and started to Insist I pay the invoice before they draw the blood. I asked her if her job was to draw blood or to collect payments. And the invoice was an obvious error. And it still hasn't been corrected. I'm actually going to leave these people and go across the street to cedars. Thank you. What a fustercluck. So rude. read more

Had a great experience at this location. I arrived early for my appointment and they saw me right away. Raynesha did an awesome job drawing my blood! I think this is the first time that I've had blood drawn and didn't feel the prick of the needle going into my arm. She was very gentle and clearly knew what she was doing. It was quick and painless. I have a couple of helpful tips for people visiting this location for the first time. The entrance to the parking structure is on Westlawn Avenue. Just go up the ramp that says Providence St. John's (Labcorp is located inside of Providence St. John's). Also, the parking is $2 for every 15 minutes and the machine takes credit card only. read more

This is the nicest LabCorp I have ever been to. The building is modern and they've really up's their game with a check in tablet. The COVID precautions are great. Temperature checks and questionnaire are required upon entry. There are alcohol swaps above the tablet. The technicians, who are all wearing masks and shields, sanitize the entire area between each patient. I felt safe coming here. The staff was nice and FAST! Raynesha did my blood work, and she truly is a God send. She connected with me so genuinely, and I could feel the joy and gratitude resonating in her. It was just a beautiful experience. Street parking was easy for me, but I also saw a parking lot available behind the building. When I called, no one answered, but they saw me quickly. I'd definitely recommend this place. read more

Great facility that was well staffed! Goy checked in and out fast. Nice location and would recommend going there.

AMAZING!!!! They are so quick and efficient and extraordinary customer care. The office is clean and bright unlike Quest which looks like a lab in a third world country. read more

they poke a needle inside of me and hurt it hurt so bad but i had to do it so it's ok

Wonderful experience. Beautiful facility. Fantastic staff. No wait time. The woman who drew my blood was amazing. Highly recommend.

Reynesha ROCKS! She is professional, skilled and a pleasure to deal with. Finding the LabCorp Patient Service Center here is tricky because you must go through the Providence-Saint John's Clinic. Had I known that, I would have gone to another LabCorp. read more

I always visit this LabCorp for my blood work. I schedule an appointment and have never waited more than five minutes to be seen. This particular appointment was with Jacqueline and I must say she deserves even more than five stars. She made me very comfortable and she was efficient, it didn't even hurt. I'm a big baby by the way. She has a warm smile and a quick sense of humor. I'm a fan. The parking is expensive but the location is convenient and the lab is very clean and professional. read more

Very fast and friendly service!!! Modern and clean facility....,staff very organized and professional.

You have to pay for parking and it's not cheap. Although it's not as busy as other locations, no one is here to help you at the front. Appointments are useless ,so just do a walk in. read more

Was told that a test would take 5-7 biz days. It's now been 3 weeks. They are totally dishonest about how long things take. Now I have to have medical procedure delayed and I am furious. Run don't walk away from this location. read more

Thanks to Christine C.´s review, I also went to Westlawn Av to park at Providence St. John's since Labcorp is in this building. It made my life much easier. I followed their instructions, waited in the car until they texted I could go up. Just 30 minutes from arriving through leaving the parking. Raynesha´s hands are magical, I didn´t even feel the needle entering in my skin. Smooth like a feather. It´s a difficult task to draw my blood; my veins are almost invisible. One can realize that the lab follows the appropriate sanitary protocols regarding Covid-19 requirements. However, I would like to suggest an improvement in the customer service communication. When a client/patient has a personal question that can´t be answered through the eletronic/digital system, he/she should be entitled to have a person who handles that over a phone. I contacted the lab several times and there was no answer unfortunately. Hope to find the same professional lab team in the future. read more

Best Lab Corp I've been to! I literally left the office down the street because of the long wait (1 hour) with no appointment. I came to this one, and I was seen right away. The lady who helped me was very sweet and also gentle. Would definitely being coming here for my lab works! read more

Always have to wait a minimum of 15 minutes when this place is not busy every time I need tests done
