Jose H.

The staff at the actual facility are friendly and helpful. Perhaps it is due to the fact that it shares the reception and space with Cedars Sinai. BUT the staff at the call center to make appointments sound annoyed that they have to take your call and help. The facilities are clean and modern.

I was never called or emailed back and when I finally got through, I was told that I was just 1 week too far along to perform an ultrasound and that other places in the area can do so. What? Did you just give away your business to competitors? I get that may be their policy, but had they been better about follow up, I would have been within the number of weeks gestation that their policy allows. I even stated how far along I was in each of my messages, so if they had been checking messages/emails, you would think they would have tried to accommodate me to ensure i was within their timeframe for ultrasounds. This tells me that they either do not check their messages, or just plain don't care for the business from a potential customer. Any way you slice it, this is not good customer service and a surefire way to lose business.

This was one of the best urgent care visits I've ever had...and nobody gets to urgent care on a…read morewinning lottery ticket! I had been sick for 4 or 5 days with fever over 100 that wouldn't go away, heavy coughing with lots of discharge, sore throat (felt like razorblades in my throat), severe headaches, night sweats, etc. Much of this seemed like old news from my previous bouts with Covid but 2 days in I started to get pink eye in both eyes, which progressively got much worse producing puss so that when I woke up in the morning my eyes were "glued" shut - and that was the warning sign that I needed to go see a doctor! I thought I had Covid based on the way I felt the past few times I've had it, but I took a few home tests that all came back negative and negative for flu A & B. My doctor's office (Optum Healthcare) suggested that I go in to urgent care to get a diagnosis since it was late afternoon on Friday so I went in the next day on Saturday. Endure Urgent Care was the first on their list in my area that was on their list so I Yelped them and saw their glowing 4.5 stars so I knew it was my best bet. Note: They have free parking on the roof. I was imagining 3-4 hour waits that I've experienced at other urgent care facilities so I called Endure to see how long their wait time was (early afternoon on Sat) and she said the current wait time was about 15 mins...wait, WHAT!!? It sounded like you said 15 minutes... She said that's correct. So I hurried over and there was only one other person in the waiting room who got called back right after I got there. The first thing I noticed was how clean and nice the waiting room is. Also, the 2 girls behind the desk both were very friendly and genuinely seemed like they wanted to help me. (Most other urgent care places I have been to are overwhelmed, rushed and you are just another number they have to get through to finish their already stressful & busy day - but that was not the vibe here at all!) To fill out your paperwork they have you scan a QR and do it on your own phone so you don't have to touch pens, clipboards or paper that another sick person may have touched. It took about 10 minutes to fill it out and get my insurance cards scanned and sure enough, within 15 mins of walking in the door - incredible! The nurse that took me back got my vitals and had me describe my symptoms. She immediately had me swab my nose for Covid, Flu & RSV and swabbed my tonsils to test for Strep Throat. 15 mins later someone came to get me for a series of chest X-rays. After those were done they took me back to my room where I waited probably another 15 minutes and the doctor came in and told me that I had severe pneumonia. I couldn't believe it - I've never had pneumonia before, but man it sure does hurt...a LOT!! He said he was calling me in 2 different antibioiotics, anti-microbial drops for the pink eye and something for my cough. Cover to cover I was in there around an hour! Unbelievable - from walking in the door to having a diagnosis and a prescription in hand only took an hour!! I can't mention how precious time is when you are so sick - and the staff at Endure Urgent Care definitely understands this. They couldn't have been more professional, friendly, and prompt and for that I am so grateful! It has now been 5 days since I went in and the antibiotics have had time to do their thing and so have the eye drops. I'm happy to report that I am feeling exponentially better. I'm still coughing a bit but I have had a few really good nights of sleep and my fever is almost completely gone. One of the antibiotic prescriptions will take a few more days to finish the prescription but I feel so much better. My eyes are also back to their normal color and still itch a bit but I'm still using the drops until it's finished. I can't say enough good things about Endure Urgent Care, but if you are as sick as I was and you need an urgent care to be professional, friendly and prompt with their care then look no further than Endure Urgent Care!! - 5 Stars!!!

So far I've been coming here when my doctor's office has been too busy to get an appt for 2 weeks…read moreor if I don't feel like taking time off from work. Definitely love the hours and convenience. Since its walk in only though, once I came in and had to wait over an hr, the next time I was the only one and went in within a few minutes. The busier they are, the crazier it gets of course, but I haven't felt like I've been rushed out at any point. Came here on a Sat morning, and after work round 6:30, and both times the gate was up and I got free parking. Yeahh! I love free! The reception area is pretty small but they have the usual stuff. Sign in, pay copay, and wait. The 2 receptionists I've seen are both pretty nice and helpful. When you get inside the place is nice and sparkly clean. Pretty small place. Didn't have to wait very long for the doctor after being led to my room either. The nurses have been nice and do their job well. Both times I've seen Dr. Kuo and he is great. He patiently answers all my questions and explains to me different options I have. He let me know what option he suggests and lets me decide what I felt comfortable with and we would take it from there. He's not the kind of doctor that will chit chat a lot, but he'll make sure to spend time to make sure you feel okay and that you have everything taken care of. The one thing I really like is that Dr. Kuo actually calls his patients himself. This way he can answer any questions you have and you're not getting a call from someone you might not have met before. So while urgent care can't take of everything for you, they still have very convenient hours which helps a lot for people who work regular hours. Still things only my pcp can do for me, but doctors are so hard to get a hold of in LA!

I am pretty sure now that incompetence what really hurts a lot of businesses…read more On the positive side there was absolutely no line, I was the only patient in a whole hour I was there. Ok on the negative....the nurse very sweet guy who was asking me questions about my condition kept forgetting what I told him and had to RE-write his statement serveral times, re-asking me new questions that showed to me that he was completely off the story line...Pretty irritating. I think I was with him longer than with the dr. Also...what kind of Urgent care facility would not have supplies for a simple wound care? The nurse had offered to clean my wound and the exact words were "clean real well"...well - he used less then an once of some cleaning solution to clean it up and then didn't even have the wrap to wrap it up. I had to use my own gaze wrap to cover up the area. Can't say anything about Dr. he was in-and-out...I guess I will know if his diagnosis is correct pretty soon. Overall...naaaa..I was hoping to get a little bit more professionalism from a place that uses words UCLA in their name and specially since its near my office...but my search will continue for better..
