I literally had blood drawn and I didn't even know they stuck me. For over a decade I've had to get regular blood draws from several facilities and many many blood draws when I had cancer. I got needle anxiety from all that poking but I always felt minimal or no discomfort. But today Jorge seemed hellbent on making me feel uncomfortable and insignificant. 1. Rushed me when I was opening my purse to retrieve the ID and insurance card he already asked for 2. Did not acknowledge said cards when I handed them to him. He snatched them from me and walked off without a word 3. He did not ask which arm I preferred for lab draw. In all my entire life as a human being the person who takes my blood ALWAYS asked which arm they could use. Even in a busy Emergency Department they take the time and space to ensure my patient rights and autonomy are honored. I was stunned into silence. But luckily for Jorge he chose the correct arm. 4. He setup and jammed the needle into my arm. No warning. No preparation AT ALL. He just stick me and I was in a lot of pain. I wanted to cry or yell or yank my arm away. I didn't. But I did let him know k was in a lot of pain. He didn't apologize or even seemed like he cared. 5. I asked why didn't he tell me that he was going to poke me. I don't like needles. Having survived cancer and all that poking and poking left me wary of blood draws. EVERY SINGLE BLOOD DRAW BEFORE TODAY has included anticipatory guidance. Jorge said he hadn't heard of it and some people prefer to be poked without being told in advance. I explained that anticipatory guidance is important and he should've given me a choice to have a gentle warning instead of an out-of the-blue painful jab. Another patient overheard our conversation and she wholeheartedly agreed that anticipatory guidance is important. She even explained what it meant since Jorge claimed he was never taught this concept. 6. Jorge shows me a blood tube and asks me to confirm my name. By this point I have no trust in this man. He seems hostile for some reason and is short with me. I'm still upset from his painful treatment of my arm. I ask to visually inspect the tube label closely since I didn't have my glasses. Then I ask to see the remaining tubes which he hands to me....lies them on the table ... when I ask to inspect all of them. I don't trust him and wary of his attention to detail at this point. This review will not be a surprise to him because I told him this was the worst blood draw ever and I've dealt with constant poking with cancer. I was forever being poked and it made me never want to see a needle again. Not because of pain but just emotional wear and tear of that phase in my life. Today when Jorge hurt me it made me feel unsafe because I wondered if had deliberately held back gentleness or a technique to prevent discomfort and anxiety. He was in a funk and I paid for it. If he had further complaints the lab draw station should seriously consider if he's in the appropriate role. And ithe other patient gave me a pittying look. She concurred that she prefers anticipatory guidance to help prevent anxiety and feat of being poked. But nope. Jorge only responded that some people don't wanna know. Well I do and that's my right

Both of my children were under three & a half years old during both visits, which says everything about how skilled & gentle she is. Both of my kids had their blood drawn in less than 10 minutes total, which is unbelievable for children that young. One poke & she gets it done. Calm, confident, gentle, & extremely professional. She is always punctual, on time, & professional, which I truly appreciate as a parent. I love everything about this service A through Z. I will never again try to schedule appointments at labs, sit in waiting rooms, or expose my kids to sick people just to get their annual blood work done. Having this done in the comfort of my own home is priceless. During the second visit, my husband was present. He was not there the first time. He was left in complete WOW at how smoothly, professionally, & effortlessly she drew blood from two kids under three & a half years old. I highly recommend this service to any parent, especially those with young children. This experience takes all the stress out of blood draws & gives you total peace of mind.

I recommend her and her service wholeheartedly.

I waited about 10 minutes before someone finally came out, and when she did, she was incredibly rude and dismissive. She told me it was "appointment only" because they were short-staffed, and her overall attitude was basically oh well, tough luck. No apology, no effort to help, nothing. Based on how unprofessional and unbothered they were at the front desk, I honestly wouldn't trust this place with anything involving my body. I won't be coming back. 12/12/25 9:00 am

The techs themselves were awesome.... but let's talk esthetics-if only for a min or two (a reasonable request since I'm about to donate my blood right)? So right off the bat Ithis lab doesn't come close to the Labcorp in Playa Vista in Jefferson. For starters, it's nowhere near the elevator, so be prepared for a nice hike (like a major u turn) once you get off the elevator on the 2nd floor. But what killed em in this review was the blood splatter on the wall! Not cool....at all. And while the techs indicated that this may have been the result of an unrelated incident or individual having zero to do with Labcorp, the fact of the matter is that the blood is a few feet from your entrance. Translation: It looks like it (the blood) came from YOUR facility. Please do better next time.
