This place must be a joke! Appts are over one hour behind. No where to sit and aimlessly waiting. Mismanagement and disorganized! Avoid!

This place is horrible. I had an appointment at 2:20pm and wasn't seen until 3:30pm. The waiting location room is extremely small with a few chairs and no air ventilation very hot. When you book an appointment they give options for every ten minutes. (1:20)(1:30)(1:40) etc.. Then when you are there and it's close to closing they come out and say they are under staffed. Why give so many appointments available if you won't be able to reasonably accommodate. Do not recommend this Lab location try LabCorp. Would this place NO stars if I had that option. read more

AVOID AT ALL COSTS! If you're unfortunate enough to get assigned to a woman named "Tasha," either ask for another person or wait for one if they're not available. This lady is extremely rude and should not be anywhere near a healthcare profession. When I was surprised with her notifying me that I would need to provide a urine sample and I expressed doubts that I would be able to fill the cup, her response was to stare at me for a few moments and then say "Are you gonna do it or not? Cause I gotta fill these papers out again." Just a very unpleasant individual to deal with. I was able to do it thankfully, but she didn't provide me instructions. After coming out of the bathroom, I went to drop off the sample but she was already helping another patient. She just stood there slack-jawed looking at me like "What are you doing back here?" A respectful male staffer came along and showed me where to put the sample, since she couldn't seem to muster any words. Look, Quest has a near-monopoly on lab testing, but if you can go to a different lab, then do it. If you have to go to this one, DO NOT GET TASHA. You will regret it! read more

I arrived before they opened so I was the first person in the walk-in que. By 10:30am ZERO people from the walk-in que had been advanced and only appointments were called. This has been the worst experience ever! My appointment was at 1:40 but they didn't see me until 2:10! The workers don't have any consideration of peoples times. They make you set up appointments and they don't even respect the appointment times. This place is not efficient, they are either understaffed or lazy. The waiting room is full of people while the patient rooms are not occupied and I saw many staff members taking their time instead of getting people in with urgency. read more

I very rarely review, so when I do, it's either 1 star or 5 stars. The Quest Diagnostics management team has earned this 1 star. I have gone to Quest's 800 S Central Ave Glendale twice in 2025. The first time, I followed all instructions and had an appointment time. The wait time was around 15 minutes after scheduled time - I didn't post. This week, ditto in terms of scheduled appointment and all instructions followed - I waited 50 minutes after my scheduled time. I had to take two work calls (one in the hallway, foot propping the door open in case my name was call; the other in the car heading back to the officer) because they ran so late. Just ... don't go here. They have no staff for check-in, greeting, payment processing, etc. - that's all done by the phlebotomist when they call your name and you go back. All the earlier appointments are booked out weeks in advance and who wants to fast through their work day because 8:00-11:30 am slots are booked out? Plusses - every phlebotomist is good and they are doing their best. But it's so business as usual that no one considers the inconvenience to you. Also, this location validates parking (is there free parking in Glendale anymore?) but only for 90 minutes and I had 5 minutes to spare, which it could and should have been a 15 minute deal. read more

This place is horrible. Quest is earning money but didn't hire clerk to do other jobs that the phlebotomist shouldn't be doing. And this is the reason why the wait time is a decades. Other quest diagnostic tried accommodate walk in one at a time in between appointments but this place finished all the appointments..no considerations on walk in patients. 22 walk in patients...not even moving. My old parents were in line before 7am and until now more than 3 hrs now..they're still waiting. read more

The most unorganized and understaffed quest in the area. If you dont have appointment good luck being helped. After waiting 2 hrs the tech let us know they cannot call any waitlists since there are only 2 people working. No care or management what so ever. They could've managed and while calling out appointments at least accommodate one walk-in in between (common sense), but ofcourse they dont care much and dont want to work hard enough. read more

DO NOT GO TO THIS QUEST!!! my husband got NERVE DAMAGE after the stupid person that took his blood stabbed him in the vein. he felt an immediate shock/jolt thru the rest of his arm and hand in that moment. she only said "do you want me to take it out" this has never happened to him before other quest locations. these people are not trained and do not care. he can't lift weights or even lift his arm to wash his hair. his arm has a huge bruise and blood clot now. we are considering suing! read more

They ignoring you All appointments are closed and even the hours you want to specify are closed. I've had to have multiple rounds of lab work done here, and not once have I had a pleasant experience. Avoid this place if you can, and don't come at all if your trans or getting blood work done for gender affirming care. Every time I've been here, staff members have started misgendering me after seeing my gender dysphoria diagnosis, even after being corrected multiple times across several appointments. If the transphobia isn't enough of a reason to avoid this place, they also falsely advertise offering walk-in appointments and rarely see patients who have made appointments in a timely manner. Where to begin? This company can care less that their appointment scheduling system is terribly flawed and broken. After registering for an appointment eight days prior, I show up to have the automated system say that it can't find me in their system. After calling, I was told that my confirmation should have some six digit code. The person I spoke with on the phone was not helpful at all and transferred me back into the call system instead of transferring me to a supervisor or someone who would take my feedback. The main reason I was calling was to bring to their attention that their system may have some bugs, but it appears that they really do not care at all. there was the most terrible experience when a doctor ordered us to urgently take a bilirubin test for our child and we waited in line without being seen but we had a newborn child and no one could do that test for us. then the specialist left for an hour for lunch. how is that possible. couldn't the doctor do the test for the newborn himself or see us without a line? and when I was pregnant they took blood from me and after that I had a huge bruise all over my arm and couldn't bend it for a month. I made an appointment a month in advance for my 90 year old diabetic mother. When I arrived to the place there is a note in the door saying that the location is temporarily closed. Yet, they neglected to email or inform us of this change even though we had an appointment!! We had to go to another location and wait as a walk in. This is unacceptable. Get it together!! read more

I had to take it. I show up ahead of my appointment time...still had to wait 10 mins past my scheduled time. They rushed me into a room and at that time Informed me that I couldn't provide my sample at their facility...I had to bring it in (fresh) from home/work. I came as a walk-in on a Friday around 12:20 and, based on the reviews here, was expecting to wait for a few hours. I checked in and opted to wait outside, which was a mistake. The check-in tablet said my appointment would be at 12:40, so I waited upstairs on a shaded bench until a text at 12:48 told me to come back. I waited in the waiting room for about 10 more minutes, and was concerned that my name wasn't on the list on the TV, but I got called back probably around 1. The woman drawing my blood said she'd called me twice before that, which is why I probably would just wait in the waiting room next time, even though it's pretty bleak. She was very skilled at drawing blood, I barely felt the needle go in, and there was no jostling when she switched out the vials; she was very gentle. Knocking off a star for poor communication outside the waiting room and the bleakness of the lobby, but otherwise a fine experience, much better than expected from how dire these reviews are! read more

Whoa. Haven't had this terrible of a healthcare experience since 1994. Maybe quest corporate is just doing a really bad job directing people to this location that it cannot serve but in any case, something needs to change. Made an appointment online for a test I ordered myself. Was told to bring my insurance info to the appointment to pay. Great. Totally normal. Got my text confirmation, checked in, was called in by the nurse. Awesome. Figured everyone else who was visibly angry in the waiting room was just a standby patient frustrated with not getting in. She asks me for my doctor's order. I say I made the appointment myself--there's no doctor involved but I have my appointment confirmation, insurance card, and credit card ready to self pay. She says they don't take payment at this location and she can't do my test until I pay. I ask if I can pay at the front desk--she says no. I ask if I can pay online? She says I have to go stand in the corner to get reception and good luck trying to pay online in time, because they're closing in 10 minutes. There is no text or email from quest with a link to pay or a notice that I needed to pay before the test or I'd be denied service. I even found my appointment, confirmation code and punched it in, and it said it didn't recognize my appointment. They closed and I left after wasting an hour out of my day. This is was all avoidable with pretty elementary-level corporate communication that a company like Quest should have figured out decades ago. Get it together. Don't tell patients they're all set for their appointment and give them the option to pay when they arrive only to have that not be the case and waste your customer's time. Hopefully I can get my labs done more easily at CVS or LabCorp. read more

If you are having a test where you have to pick up the testing supplies, complete the tests yourself, and return them to them, you still have to make an appointment. In my case, having to wait days to return the completed tests would have compromised the contents of the tests and would have made them invalid. So I didn't make an appointment and went in with the results to drop them off, but because I didn't have an appointment, I still had to wait two hours for someone to take them from me. There is no one at the reception desk to even ask a question. When you are ill, you shouldn't have to go through that! read more

I don't even know where to begin. I waited 40 minutes with an appointment to pick up containers for samples. They had been called in AND I had the orders on my phone. The tech who finally saw me said they have no email and there was no way for me to use the orders I had - after a 40 minute wait. The waiting room was packed, unmasked people coughing. An Armenian woman tried to ask for an interpreter and the woman she was speaking with PHYSICALLY shoved her to get her out of the way and said "sorry honey I don't speak Armenian!" This is the the worst location I have ever experienced. The location is in a basement level of an old outdated dungeon like building without any signage of Quest Diagnostics. Thank God I was a few minutes early for my appointment to find it. Once I arrived inside the the dungeon, there is no phone reception so I couldn't get my QR code or confirmation code to check in. So I have tried to enter things manually but the kiosk was requesting a copy of my id and insurance card which I have completed on line so I was not carrying my insurance card with me. I was waiting for a representative to come out for 10 minutes. When a representative finally came out, I was explaining that I was early for my appointment but since there is no phone reception in the basement, I couldn't check in. She said "you are considered late or a walk in. I need to go attend to patients so you can use the kiosk" then went behind lock doors. I left immediately after that comment and felt disgusted for wasting my time at this location. Quest Corp, do better with client experience!! This is the absolute worst lab I have ever been to. Patients were asked to wait outside for 20 min, past our appointment time to even be allowed to check in for an appointment. Then no one on staff was able to help any of the customers check in, so everyone was seen 20 min later than appointment times with no help from the staff. The ones with a appointment are getting checked in as walk-in's . They are just saying there is something wrong with the system. I get their frustration because they are doing everything. Office work, nurse, tester, but something has to be done. All I'm doing is dropping off some urine. I will give them a hour and go someplace else. Besides I heard they close for lunch. DO NOT COME HERE If I could leave 0 stars I would . This place is very unsanitary and the staff treats their patients VERY poorly. Specifically MARTHA , I would be embarrassed to have her as an employee. I came in to get my blood drawn and a urine test, to start off her attitude was very rude as I got called up. She asks me to fill out my insurance but then quickly takes away my pen as I'm filling it out and says I'm too slow so she goes ahead and fills it in herself. After my blood drawn I go to the restroom for the urine test. When I come back to the room to return the sample, she is no where to be found for 10 minutes and has me waiting. She finally comes back and I give her the sample then ask her if I have anything else to do but she says No and that I'm fine to leave. So I do just that, 10 min later as I'm driving home I get a call from the office saying I need to come back to sign a document . This is ridiculous as I clearly asked Martha if I needed to do anything else right before I left . Im forced to go back as she says if I don't sign then the samples can't be sent out. I arrive and sign the paper then I ask her for a paper that has a QR code to leave a review for her company. She refuses to give me it then starts yelling at me to leave and find it online . I quickly grab the paper and head out as she is yelling at me . WILL DEFINITELY NEVER RECOMMEND COMING HERE. Especially not with MARTHA! read more
