If you have to have blood drawn for lab work, this is the place to go in eastern Metro area. They open early and work through to get to everyone quickly and serve your needs. New state of the art registration with ipads helps it in some ways, but is confusing for those without a little tech savvy. You can look on the screen as you wait to see how long your wait will be as it posts your specific wait time up there. Additionally, they can get new folks processed quickly as well. Great friendly staff. read more

This office has horrible service. The lady sitting at the front counter was rude and and not very welcoming. This is the office in Folsom on E Bidwell. I should've known better than to come to this office I normally go to J St. downtown Sacramento or West Sacramento on Stone Boulevard but I came to this because it was closer to my job and what did I get a bunch of smart mouth backtalk from probably a $12 an hour employee I don't need this kind of stress I'm going through medical issues I would strongly suggest you avoid this place at all costs and the woman working there need to stop wearing so much make up that's the blood lab not a nightclub. read more

Quest Diagnostics - Quest lab photo - Laboratory Testing Near Me - Folsom, California

I was considered a "walk in" so expected to wait a good while, though after about an hour, the television screen said I still had about a 45 minute wait. Waiting almost 2 hours to get labs done feels incredibly excessive. Like clockwork, they pulled someone back every 12 minutes. It made me wonder if they truly had no sense of urgency or any desire to work efficiently. I cannot imagine every single patient took exactly 12 minutes to work on. Yes, it was a busy day, but it felt like I was waiting in an ER. At the end of the first hour, I left and scheduled myself an appointment for the follow week at a different location. From a customer service standpoint, several elderly people walked in and struggled with the sign-in procedure. (You sign in using an i-Pad device held on a stand.) The lab technicians showed no interest in helping the elderly who struggled to understand the process or who could not see the screen well. Multiple times, PATIENTS who were waiting to be seen assisted other patients who needed to sign-in. Could this become a HIPAA violation; where a patient needs assistance signing-in and can ONLY rely on a stranger in the waiting room to help them? read more

I know i said I wouldn't come back to this location, but i was left w no choice when my doctor said I needed to schedule an immediate, last minute apt to get my blood drawn. I hesitantly returned and the same lady was there, miserable as ever. She stabbed the needle into my arm and I jolted and asked her to remove it immediately. No blood came out Bc it wasn't a vein, it was my nerve. She made some comment under her breath and I tried my best to ignore her, hoping she'd just take my blood and be done. I left quest unhappy, irritated and in physical pain. Since my visit, I've had a sharp pain run through my left shoulder all the way down through my fingertips. My median nerve is damaged Bc of this careless, unhappy employee. It's painful to move my arm, let alone keep it down at waist level. Do NOT go to this lady. So rude and obviously not certified to be a phlebotomist! read more

I was 7 min late to my appointment, so the lady there (only person working in the office all day) rudely told me I'd have to wait as a walk-in. Fine. She took everyone who walked in with an appointment even though I'd been there for an hour and a half. I was lightheaded by that time because I was fasting for my blood work. I believe others walked in late for their appts as well, but she saw them before me. I finally asked her how much longer and she said two more people...which was another 20 min at least. Horrible system, it's ridiculous that they only have one person running the whole office there. I will not return to this lab again. Oh, and I never did end up getting my blood drawn!!! read more

Worst location! Came in at 7:35, they open at 7:30. Only about 5 patients ahead of me and apparently it was going to be an hour wait with 2 employees there. Are you serious? Can't even make appointments here cause they never have any available and the lady with the red hair at the front is extremely rude! Seriously this location needs to be improved. read more

Forced to come here based on my health insurance and it's terrible. Their entire computer system just went down and it's a total cattle call. Been waiting an hour already just to have regular blood work done over from Sutter. Terrible patient experience and forced to come here bc of health insurance coverage restrictions. Bummer. It's filthy, not enough seats to accommodate number of patients waiting. Half the time there have been no staff members at the front desk. They zip in and out in a frenzy. Lost in space. read more

I don't understand why should I make an appointment when I was about ten minutes early for my appointment and a guy that walked in the door just before me that was JUST A WALK IN taken first. Can't you guys have a person at the front desk watching what's going on? Obviously your computer system SUCKS!!!! When I came in it sounded like there was a party going on in the back. NOT COOL!!!!! read more

Somebody should update their business hours, they're definitely not open until 4:30 anymore. Drove an hour in traffic to get here, only for it to be closed! read more

I have had great service from the Paradise clinic, the people there were most helpful. The real problem is that their service is totally online or automatic phone in centers. Making an appointment online is not reliable and there is no way check online if the appointment was actually made. If you try to verify your appointment with their phone service, pack a lunch, its going to be a long wait. You are better off as a walk in. read more

Please hire more staff! Only having one staff member is absolutely crazy. The wait here is ridiculous! Ive been here for an hour and thirty minutes and I have witnessed 5+ people who were so frustrated they just left. My advise, don't ever come without an appointment unless you enjoy sitting in lobby's with angry and frustrated people. read more

The worst place to go for lab work and the employees are rude and careless for your wait time. I am very hard to draw blood from due to several chemo cycles and radiation (5-time cancer survior). Generally, my blood is drawn through my port at my oncologist office on Creekside drive and they want me to use this useless place. This place is closed for lunch from noon to 1. Oh, yeah, they lock the doors at 11.56 (early) but open at 1.05 (late). I entered at 11.50 and had to wait 20 minutes to hand in my sample. I can't imagine how long you have to wait to get your blood drawn. The tech did not care and she just shrugged when I complained about the wait time to drop my samples. After she got the sample, she asked me when this blood was drawn and told her that just before I came here. She said no way because the blood is already clotting. Well, you made me wait 20 minutes and so it's 30 minutes, you Stupid. Go Labcorp on Riley instead of this trash. read more

I have been getting my blood work done every three months since the age of 7. In that time I have never been to a lab with worse customer service. Rather than greet you politely I got a "what do you want?" When trying to check in. I waited for over 30minutes with only two people ahead of me. They have absorbed a lot of business since mercy moved to using Quest for blood work and customer service has definitely suffered. The thought of coming to this horrible place fills me with anxiety. I don't mind getting vials and vials of blood taken but I do mind being treated so poorly. Additionally they are not very good at drawing blood or finding veins. Expect to spend a lot of time getting your arm rubbed before they jab the needle in you. If you have any other option go somewhere else. read more

My first time here. I saw Priscilla who was so sweet. I was freaking out because I had to fill 9 viles of blood and I weigh 95 lbs. I also suffer from severe panic attacks. I was fine during the blood draw she did a great job didn't hurt at all and she kept asking if I was okay which reassured me. I felt very safe and comfortable. It wasn't until after we were done that I started to feel really funny and I had a bad panic attack. I would nt let the phlebotomist leave my side. I was totally freaking out. She stayed with me the whole time to comfort me. I was so embarrassed after the fact but she didn't make me feel bad at all. Very professional, great at what she does and she even got me crackers and water before I left. Love her! Will go back if I have to get my blood drawn again. 5 min wait very clean and nice atmosphere. read more

Made an appointment online a few days before and showed up a few minutes early. Filled out the paperwork and had a very short wait. Receptionist is a bit frosty, but after listening to some of the folks who came in, it was understandable. Just a simple blood draw - the tech was nice, funny, and efficient. I was in and out in less than 15 minutes. I don't get the negative reviews, my limited experience was great. read more

I know how to draw blood and this is not right.I showed her where my blood is normally drawn n she chose to go elsewhere. Im always dehydrated and I know my veins roll. So she went after it, it rolled-she continued to FISH for it! Now it didn't work but me watching her move the needle gave me bad anxiety!!! She told me to turn my wrist/forearm while she was fishing I didn't want to so I ignored her. She finally got it but it was alot of fishing, now my arm is all bruised and that's never happened! read more

Worst customer service and wait times are ridiculous. Extremely understaffed! If only I could find another location that insurance accepts!

Very seamless experience getting a blood test done! I always have trouble giving blood because of my veins but the phlebotomist (Lisa J) was very skilled and made it a painless process. Ask for Lisa J if you have the same struggle! read more

I love this place. In the past I had my blood drawn at a different places they always missed my vein. Since I have been going here I have never had a problem. It is wonderful to know that you are not going to be used as a pin cushion. read more

Very poor service and very understaffed. Over twenty people waiting for help. Only 2 on staff and no help at the front counter. Everyone here is very frustrated with this experience. Not a good environment for drawing a person's blood. Another patient came in and said that the other locations are just as bad. Upper management at Quest Diagnostics need to be under review. read more

I have had to return for additional blood tests so many times, because Quest misread the order or did it wrong, that I've just given up on them and now go to Lab Works at 1600 Creekside. Go elsewhere. Save time, pain and frustration. read more

Excellent and fast service. I had Kathy, and she was great - professional, knowledgeable, and gentle. Only 1 person ahead of me. Wait time was only 5 min. Much rather use this lab rather than the always packed lab on Creekside. read more

Today was my daughters first blood draw. She has had shots before and she handles them like a boss...but shes never had more than a finger prick for a blood draw. The technician that took her blood was amazing! She was a very kind woman who made the process as quick as possible. The tech was sooo gentle and she told my daughter how well she handled it. She even drew a happy face on the tape and mentioned an ice cream treat might be in order. Good reccomendation :) we stopped by BR on the way home. We had a great visit and will be going back for any other blood work. I wish I would have gotten her name so I could send other Mommas and babies to her. She was so good to my little girl. Blood draws suck but the staff made it less sucky for us all. Thank you Quest and staff for making a scary situation bearable for my 2 year old. read more

I think DMV works faster than this place. 1 staff member who doesn't care about getting anything done expeditiously and is extremely rude. Chose someplace else to go. read more

I agree with the others and would like to add that the Quest website is another source of fustration because it only shows a patient 4 year's worth of blood testing results. A legitimate blood testing service would save a patient's results for 10+ years so changes over time could be observed. read more

Staff needs training. Management really needs to take a look at this operation from a regulatory standpoint.

I took my daughter for a blood work this morning and we had the worst experience ever. The wait was ridiculous regardless of the appointment we had! The older lady there was angry, rude, unhappy and super slow with no compassion for kids! My daughter burst in tears as we sat in the car. It was my first experience in that location and I will never go back there again! read more

Made an appointment and when I showed up they said they are not doing appointments today. Probably going to have to wait 3 hrs

Receptionist is condescending, sarcastic, and rude as hell. I was asking her simple questions like the wait time, if they took my insurance, if I needed to fill anything out, etc. and she answered me like I was wasting her time. I've fasted 14 hours to get this damn blood test and now I'm being treated like filth by this old lady who doesn't give a damn. I was angry, but still asked her politely if there was another clinic I could visit that would have a lower wait time and would still accept my insurance. Her response was "I don't know," then she looked in the room and called another patient to the desk for an appointment--while I was still talking to her. I asked if she could schedule me an appointment for me later in the day and she said nothing, just handed me the clinic's business card. I didn't even take the card. I walked out. I'd recommend Davis Medical Group or Sutter Family Medicine. They're both nearby and the staff is super nice compared to the old witch that works the desk at this damn place. Quest Diagnostics' system is also quite confusing, and scheduling an appointment is a hassle. Their phone system is robotic, their website has a terrible UI. The waiting rooms look like prisons, they are grossly understaffed, and the wait times average 2-3 hours without appointments. Go to another lab, this place isn't worth it. I'm going to switch my insurance just so I can avoid these people. read more

This lab opened up last year and is a little known secret! They are new, clean, and not too busy!! I sat at the Quest Labs on Creekside the other morning for over 30 minutes without being helped, and eventually had to leave to make it to work on time. In my race back to work, I passed this Quest on E Bidwell and it look empty! I ran inside and two women were sitting at the front desk, hands clasped in front of themselves, waiting for a patient. Oh my goodness!! I was taken back right away by ALLYSON, who was amazing! I never felt a single sensation when that needle entered or exited my arm. I have never had such a pleasant experience at a lab in my life! I have been there 3 times now and have always had a great experience, with wait times less than 10 min. I will never go to the lab next door to the hospital again. It's E Bidwell for me!! read more

The first time i had blood drawn i was fasting so i went in early, around 9. They were quick and it was relatively pain free. I came in a second time in the afternoon. I waited an hour to get my blood drawn. I thought it would be faster in the afternoon. Not so. Only one person working front and back too. read more

WORST service EVER one person working extremely slow and rude!!! Do not go here esp if you do not have at least 2 hours to wait on a good day .....or if your fasting. read more

My first time here and I was called into the nurses office and told a complaint was made against my husband but they wouldn't say what. I was sent back out to wait and I told my husband what was said. We hadn't a clue. When I was called back in I asked the nurse (who was very nice) what was said, and she said that a Hispanic woman who was sitting across from us with an African American man said my husband called her husband a 'N' word.:O...O M G! My husband is Hispanic and I am half. Neither of us say off colored things even in private. It just never took place! The the woman said my husband called her a bitch. Now...if any of that even were to happen then why wouldn't the woman's husband say or do something? I felt horrible and my husband still had no clue what was said. We never spoke to anyone in this office while we were waiting and my husband was treated like he was being watched. I left after getting my shot and I told my husband what the woman said he did. He was quit shaken and was silent the rest of the way home. He says he will not go with me to Quest again and I don't want to go either. We were accused and treated guilty by a woman who could have had a mental illness. Shame on the staff read more
