Super excited to get blood drawn in such a clean facility!

Thank you Anahid for taking me into a room with bloody trash on the floor and telling me your name was "Ana" while giving me the fax number when I asked for a business card (see photos). Thank you for also texting a picture of my insurance card to not one, but TWO of your coworkers/superiors, then telling me it was fine because you deleted it (it's not fine, total privacy violation). I really appreciate you arguing with me about that while telling me your location doesn't take my insurance. Even after I told you someone from my insurance told me to go to that specific Qwest. Thank YOU Qwest corporate for telling me someone would get back to me in 4 hrs and it's been more than a day. Love that yelp makes you give them one star, instead of zero.

I came here this morning to get my toddler's blood drawn. She's only 19 months old so I was anxious but she did surprisingly well (she's a tough baby). I made the appointment online just yesterday, so that was great. I parked in the lot that's part of the building, and it's 85 cents every 20 minutes (note: they make you leave your keys in the car). The office is on the 4th floor, #406. We were the only ones there when we arrived at 9:45am on a Tuesday for our appointment. I used the iPad to check in and we waited less than 2 minutes to go in. The woman took my info, and I then had my girl sit on my lap, secure in my arms, while her blood was drawn. I don't know anything about blood drawing, but I felt bad for her because the doctor had ordered 4 vials be taken, and her blood was coming out really slowly, so it took a long time, and the woman had to move the needle around in the vein a lot. Fortunately my tough girl made it through, and got a sticker afterwards.

I have been to this particular Laboratory few times over the years, However, this past 2 years I…read morehave been going to this lab a little more frequently than I used to. Nothing major or serious, just need to do blood count/drawn to maintain good health. Especially when you get to be a certain age. Yesterday, I went in at 4pm knowing that the last blood drawn was at 4:30pm and 30 minutes before their closing time. Whenever I have gone to this facility, I have NEVER had any bad, problems or issues with the staff. Whether it was dropping off a sample of urine/stool or drawing blood. Rosario drew my blood in less than 60 seconds. They are quick to admit, sign up is fast, quick like a morning/evening breeze, staff are very friendly, professional and helpful. By the time you want to sit down, they already text you and call your name to go in and get the work done. No complaints whatsoever. Bonus: close to my home!:-) Lab is BIG, CLEAN, with nice large windows and very bright inside. They are also quick to update your my chart/file by submitting your information on line. As we all know, certain responsibilities come with it. I need to pay $30 out of pocket for my copay. The remaining balance is handled by my insurance company. They have 2 bathrooms for men and for women with two stalls. Clean and sanitized. Underground parking with plenty of spaces and 2 elevators. That's all for now until my next visit. Thank you UCLA, and employees of the laboratory!!

Busy mornings they're usually fully staffed. The phlebotomists are all great and I'm a hard stick…read morewith tiny veins, developed scar tissue because of only being able to use one arm for draw yet they manage to draw blood successfully every time. Their waiting room is big but there's also another waiting area outside the door (for another UCLA clinic) however if the waiting room for the lab is at capacity there are more seats outside. Parking lot can be a challenge. Limited parking can get full pretty quickly. There are usually parking attendants to guide you or let you know there's no spots left.
