I checked myself in for a walk in there was people inside I do have my toddler with me so I decided to wait outside, not once was I called I decided to sit the last 10 minutes and never got called. 1 minute before closing they came out I told someone I was never called or texted that it was my turn she stated they called me 3 times I told her I was outside for 20 minutes and no one ever came out to grab me or I didn't get a text. Horrible facility. Go to Yucaipa or Moreno Valley or any other Quest, just stay away from Banning. Overfilled with 4NRS, waited for hours, had an appointment and was never seen. Not 1 chair available to sit in, outside had 2 dozen people waiting to be seen. They should shut Banning down. read more

I made an appointment online for my 74 year old dad. He does not know how to use technology, but he tried his best to check-in at the kiosk, however his name wasn't popping up. He needed help but had some trouble finding staff to help him. Eventually a staff member helped him and said that they couldn't find his appointment, even though we scheduled it the week prior. They said he would have to wait but the waiting room was packed, so he left. Not sure why this location accepts online appointments if they don't actually honor them. I would give negative stars if I could. I made an appointment and was taken back in a timely manner. The issue arose when I was in the back. The woman helping me had a attitude from the time she called my name. She ripped my phone out of my hand when I showed her my orders and proceeded to "e mail " them to herself so she could use it. She never asked if she could or better yet didn't ask me to do it considering it was my phone and my info. The service was bad in the building so the e mail didn't go through. She let me know I had a few mins to get it to her or she wouldn't draw my blood. I called my medical office to see if they could send her a copy and while I was talking to them she was yelling at me in the background telling me I was wrong in whatever I was saying. My medical office assured me they had already sent what they would need but could send it again or I could try the Yucaipa location. Ultimately I wasn't able to get my blood drawn by her ( praise God). On my way out I looked at her and asked if she was having a bad day (was willing to give her the benefit of the doubt) and she looked me dead in the eye with a smirk and told me she was having a GREAT day. I let her know she was coming off rude and she let me know she was having a good day. I told her she needed to learn to treat people better and walked out. It was clear she either was truly having a bad day and couldn't swallow her pride or she is just a miserable person. But after reading other reviews I can see most of the staff isn't friendly. Just came today from Quest. Martha, their primary phlebotomist, DOES NOT KNOW HOW TO DRAW BLOOD. She stuck a needle in my arm and when blood didn't emerge, she moved the needle back and forth. No luck. Very painful. Not recommended! Furthermore, upon my arrival, they told me they didn't have the order from my doctor. I had to leave and go to another appointment. Called the doctor who insisted that the order was faxed over twice the night before. Hubby went in for some routine blood work and was very pleased with the quality of their work. This was the best Quest diagnostic office we have ever been to. And he gets blood brawn every 90days. The manager has it together here! Great job (we think her name was Asia or Alda). Either way kudos to her and her staff! His phlebotomists was awesome and left hardly a mark on his forearm. Great JOB!! And I can tell you when it's done wrong he has had a softball sized bruise before! I went to get labs drawn yesterday, September 11, 2023. The phlebotomist was a sweet, young woman who was very gentle. The problem was, these were routine labs I get done every six months, plus I am a retired nurse. Normally they draw a minimum of six large tubes and a one or two small ones. She only drew three small ones. I asked her three times if that was the correct amount of tubes as I did not want to return. She even checked with someone more experienced and was told, yes. I felt doubtful but left anyways. I also had to take an Uber there as my husband and I only have one car and he was gone for most of the day. So today, the next day, I called my doctor to make my routine appointment and I asked about the number of tubes. She ordered 17 tests and less than half were drawn. I was given the number to Quest and told to hit the prompt for billing. After hitting about a dozen prompts to actually get a human to speak with, I asked the lady if I could have the charge removed as the fault did don't lie with me and my responsibility was significant and now I have to return. She was extremely rude and asked me if I knew what the word estimate means. SERIOUSLY? I told her back, that no I'm an idiot and I had never in my nearly 62 years of living on the planet I had no idea what it meant. (Sarcasm), she didn't get it. So I asked for her name and she refused to give it. I threatened a lawsuit if I wasn't refunded once the bill was generated. Not to her but the survey they sent for how my experience was. My daughter was there waiting for over an hour while fasting only to be told she couldnt get her blood drawn bcuz she has to pay for service first. She couldnt pay at the time so they wouldn't do her bloodwork that she needs done for her diabetes. They will make you wait to get your bloodwork until your billing is settled. To start of the lady who taking my blood was VERY BAD. She kept in moving the needle while it was still in me, which hurt a lot. She ended up leaving a scratch on my hand from the way she pulled the needle out. Secondly on our way out she had forgotten to give me my ID and medical care card. Lastly, I came here for the second time because they forgot to give me my paperwork. Their lunch break had been over for 45 minutes. We called the office and knocked multiple times but there was still no reply. We saw the receptionist pear oit through the window but she still didn't open for us. Unfortunately we appear to be captive patients. We went there for a breath test, waited about one half hour, and there were about six people sitting inside (plus whoever was being tested), and 2 people in front of us, who we eventually realized had appts. By 845am there were ten people in line behind us, some had appts-some did not. I tried getting thru to Quest phone line, no answer-appt line did not forward either. Now, we understand it is difficult due to virus requirements but seriously we do not believe it is necessary to treat people without any regards to information whenever possible. Two patients came out of that office within that half hour. No employee came out in that half hour to explain anything. There were no chairs for the elderly to sit on, and we resent the fact that no one can give us any consideration or accurate information so WE can make an informed decision about our time. The problem that I have with this lab is their business practice. So let's start from the beginning. I've been going to my doctor for annual checkup since year 2000. And this lab had always been the designated lab for the routine blood tests since they used to be within the 'network'. But in November when I went to my doctor for the physical exam, they told me to go to this one lab to get my lab work done and forgot to mention that it's no longer the same one as before. (Apparently, Quest has dropped outta the network for whatever reason.) The location of the new lab is very close to Quest. So naturally I assumed that it was the same lab and went to get my blood drawn. Now I'm getting a big bill from Quest since my insurance doesnt cover 100%. I'm pissed because the nurse that took my order knew that I came to the wrong lab yet she proceeded to 'steal' the business from this other lab which clearly had its name and address on the referral paperwork. Illegal or not I dont know. But it's definitely not very ethical. I also found out later (from the doctor's office) that this incident wasnt the first case. Apparently, Quest had been taking advantage of many other patients from the same office before. I think QD is engaged in unethical business practices at the local branch level. I do not understand why - other than they think they can hoodwink people into bills. They have an ethical obligation to disclose to you, upon receipt of your lab order and insurance card, that they are out of network. They all know the basic major private companies that are in-network. UHC is a huge organization, its not like I have obscure insurance no one has ever heard of. It is my responsibility to know this information, but at the same time the lab is ethically obligated to inform me of what costs you are about to incur. read more
