If I could give zero stars I would. I sat in the lobby for 30 minutes with an appointment they were so backed up there was at least 20 people in the lobby. I finally get taken to the back to get my blood drawn and start to feel a little queasy and needed a second because she could only get 2 vials after she poked me and had to take the needle out and poke me a second time to get the rest. I felt a little dizzy and needed a moment to drink water and relax she said since I feel like this i can't complete the blood test and would not finish my blood draw after I Waited there for so long and need it done by next week. I feel I was rushed out of there so they could get to the next patient and had no care that I had taken the time out of my day to get this done. I will never go back there again. Don't ever come here I do not recommend! read more

Honestly it was just super unprofessional and I'm not INE to leave review but don't go here, I understand walk ins don't have appointments and do need to wait but the way they treat walk in is as if they are imposing which is ridiculous read more

Other people sure do know how to exaggerate on the reviews to discourage you from coming. At first, I was uneasy about coming here. Came in here around 12:40pm, got out around 1:00, quick, easy, and painless process. Staff is friendly and patient. Make sure you drink plenty of fluids and fast 10-12 hrs prior before coming there for blood labs. Thanks for the fast service! read more

My go-to QD location for blood work. I do always try to make an appointment and usually my wait time is around 5-10 minutes at the most. Not a bad option when you want to squeeze it in during a lunch break. And the staff here are still always friendly and helpful. read more

If I cloud give them 0 stars I would ,,,very unprofessional ,rude and slow ,,,I lost my insurance card ,after waiting for 35 min for my turn ,she told me that she can't find my name in the system although I have done countless lab tests at the same location ,I told her that she can look me up with my social ,every time I do that because my insurance card had misspelling in my name so each time i give them my social and my ID ,,,I kept trying to give her my name in writing so she can check it out ,she refused and actually yield at me In front of everybody !!! Lazy employee that doesn't care about people and has no respect and shouldn't be any where near people who are seeking medical treatment of any kind . Stay away no one wants to go have lab tests while very stressed ! read more

Quest Diagnostics - Laboratory Testing Near Me - Anaheim, California

OK, I know not many people are going to post a five star review for a place that sticks them with needles. But my lady Maria did the best job today. That is no joke, I am a very hard stick. I also usually have a semi anxiety attack before I have to give blood. Maria stuck me once and found my tiny little vein right away. For 6 vials of blood, I couldn't believe that it was so painless. I actually had tears of relief, and hugged her. Maria knows her job well. read more

People here are coughing and sneezing and they are NOT hand washing after contact. NO masks to give around so you sit and wait for your turn, by the time you go home you've acquired it already! After patiently waiting, we had our turn, MARIA our phlebotomist MISSED the vein and then blamed it on us saying We moved and didn't drink water!!! Uh huh Duhhh.... told her I'm a nurse and I had a big vein in front of her!!! She then said... "well its my first time!" She could at least say "I'm sorry." But she didn't!!!!! Urrgh:( read more

Horrible experience! The older lady with blonde hair was very rude she put the band so high there was a lack of pressure that she left me a huge bruise. I just got one tube out and i even asked if she could lower the band a little just like my regular dr office does and she said no and pushed me back to my chair . Horrible she does not know what she is doing and is by far the worst phlebotomist I've ever had. read more

If I have to select between others Labs around the area where I am living, 100% I will select Lab Quest at 2229 Ball Road, Anaheim. At the beginning I was a little nervous, why? Reading the negative reviews, but at the end I decided to go, and everything was wonderful experience! First, because is very clean, nice, simple, something that makes it pretty. Secondly, because of the staff that were very helpful. Last week I had to go in twice to this lab (7-06-21 and 7-09-21) to try to resolve a problem with my appointment. The help that I received surprise me, because I did not expect that more than one person could help me in a nice, polite and professional way. WOW!! Thanks Sabrina and Maria. The second time it was the lead of the group Mr. Abraham and the technician Maria. Now I would like to say something about me. I am that type of person that I love observes what is happening around me and the way one is being treated. This place showed me that staff is wonderful and treating everyone in the same way. My advice for the news ones, never pay attention to the negative things. Be positive and try to find the truth by yourself. Congratulations everyone!!! I'm giving 5 stars!! read more

It's the worst experience of my life the lady in front with black hair she was so rude! The guy who took my blood and when he finished I had a bruise on my forearm and they sent us to a hospital and it was a waste of time read more

This location was quick and friendly!! After the location off of LaPalma didn't have the vials needed to draw my blood I ran over to this location. I was happily greeted by friendly staff. I was afraid I would have to wait long since the other location dropped the ball, but this location was aware I had an appointment at the other location and took me in as soon as possible!! read more

I took my grandma to this place twice and the fist time they told her that she was late and were going to cancel her appointment. The next day we showed up on time like they told us too and said that it was to early and need to wait an hour until they opened. It says that they open up at 7 but they told her that they open up at 8 and then they told her that they open up at 9. read more

This is a poorly run location. Are they understaffed or just slackers? The place is almost full with more people coming in the last 25 minutes until it closes, and there is no one to be seen behind the desk! Older people want to speak to someone. They don't know how to use the digital tablet device. Regardless, I could tell this place in incredibly SLOW. read more

so crowded, even when you have an appointment. what is the purpose of having an appointment for? Over 20 people waiting at 8am. Will not make an appointment nor come here again. read more

I got there first thing when they opened at 7am. First impression... The lady at the front desk has no personality & wasn't very friendly, maybe she isn't a morning person & should work the later shift or didn't have her coffee yet. Anyway, I was called in to get my blood work by a beautiful lady named Diana. She was absolutely amazing... & night & day different from the lady at the front desk. She was super friendly & only poked me once & got exactly what she need the first try! I was in & out of there within 30 min. I would have given this place 5 stars if the lady at the frint desk at least smiled. read more

I went here for blood work, and I was pleasantly surprised. It was easy to find, plenty of parking. The office is very clean, the staff was friendly, and it was a quick and efficient visit. read more

1/24/19: Final update to my review. Also I am from Anaheim and not San Francisco (not sure how or why that was changed). I have been a patient of QD for many years. Usually the blood samples are taken at my doctors office. QD has consistently provided very prompt service (I usually get the results one day later) and both my doctor and I feel confident that the lab results are accurate. Recently I needed bloodwork and went to the Ball Rd. - Anaheim facility. The Phlebotomist was very courteous and professional. However, I did feel that there were areas in customer care that needed improvement. I communicated with QD management (initiated by my original review) and have been very pleased by their responsiveness and willingness to reach out to me. I am now very confident that my concerns and others expressed in this forum are being given the utmost attention. read more

This place is HORRIBLE handling children. The phlebotomists were very rude. They kept telling a 5 year old to just calm down! Poked three times and got nothing! She poked with out knowing we're she was going to poke then pulled the butterfly needle out and poked again with the same needle!!!!!!! The phlebotomist was nervous and then had the nerve to tell us that the way my son was acting was wrong. I will NEVER return to this place EVER!!!!!!! read more

So sad. Staff very rude and spend more time telling you why they can't help you than just doing their job. Couldn't even collect spit, literally. Poor patients, I walked out after 45 minutes. Was first in line when I got there. read more

If I could give negative stars I would. Our 1-year-old son needed blood drawn for some routine tests. We called ahead to make sure this location does pediatric blood draws and they confirmed that. On arrival they told us they don't actually have Quiggles or Buzzy, but we didn't want to reschedule, so we tried without it. My son actually did well as the needle was inserted, but the nurse did not take the rubber strap off his upper arm for a long time, so she couldn't draw enough blood. Then she started wiggling on the needle and my son started crying in pain. read more

Got an annual blood test here; there was no pain! With an appointment, I got in and out in less than 15 minutes! Overall, this was a great testing lab. read more

I was pretty scared of going here cause of all the bad reviews I read. I entered, thinking I was going to be another victim, but it turns out it was pretty great! The receptionist lady helped me out even though I brought my wrong insurance number. I sat down expecting to have a long wait time since I made no appointment, but I was helped only minutes later. The nurse was really nice and took out my blood with ease. I left this clinic much faster than I anticipated. I won't hesitate coming here next time! read more

Usually this location is very professional but not today. The staff members were arguing very loudly. Not being professional at all. Very disappointed with the staffs behavior read more

Came today to get my blood work done. And the employee fradi is always so rude. I come in every 6 months and she is alway Rude . Even with her own co-workers . Something needs to chance . Maybe in her Culture/ country she can be Rude . NotI'm ours read more

Do not come to this location they are very slow and only have one to two workers. I have been sitting here for two hours and they just left for lunch. I hate this location and they need to simply close it. read more

I am extremely disappointed with the service I received today. As a mother having to watch your child cry for help is already devastating enough, but knowing that this is part of my child's preventative care I know It needs to be done. My child is 4 years old and had his very first full blood panel and let me tell you the quality of nurses that attended has been by far the worst I've seen working with kids. No compassion, sympathy, bottom line no patience for my child. I understand that shots/ blood drawings may be hard for a child to understand but when you have a nurse who pushes down on the child arm, demands to look at what is being done and yells at your child for screaming of being scared is NOT okay! It is a nurses job to get the job done but knowing that you are coming in to the nursing field with no compassion for children should not be able to practice with any child! As an employee for a home health company that specializes in children, it is crucial that I find a nurse who can show compassion with children. Having this HORRIBLE experience now has me trying to explain to my 4 year old child that going to the doctor is nothing to be scared of, and that there ARE doctors and nurses that love what they do and will never let him fear something like this again. Thank god for a good PPO plan, I will be filling a grievance and finding another place for lab work and NEVER going nor recommending anyone to choose Quest Dignostics read more

The lady that did my blood test named Taylor was very rude very bad attitude, no respect and compassion. She doesn't deserve to be working in this kind of job.I told her to please take my blood in my left arm as I have pain in my right arm and she told me rudely that my right arm is a better arm and took my blood without my permission.I felt so helpless and worthless at that moment unable to exercise my rights. I also have a good vein in my left arm and phlebotomist never had any problem taking my blood in my left arm before. She just think for her convenience not thinking what other people feels. I had blood test at several places but this is the only place that I experienced this kind of attitude without respect and compassion to their customer. Also she didn't let me read my name if its correct on the test tube . Its been 5 days and my vein where she took the blood still very painful and the pain is radiating down to my forearm.I have to apply warm compress several times a day and I hope it will not develop infection. I read reviews in this place and the problem of their staff is rudeness. The owner/supervisor should hire people who is qualified ,has a good training on good customer service and has compassion and patience in this kind of job. read more
