It's 2026 and we've used AIH twice already and they have been really easy to work with. We've collected our own samples and bagged them up and dropped them off at the lab. They offer many turnaround times and it's been a breeze to get results. I've attached what the results look like... read more

Aih Laboratory - Sample results - Laboratory Testing Near Me - Anaheim, California

Very professional, friendly, and easy to drop off my sample. Great price for a fast turn around time as well! Would highly recommend.

We arrived at the location in Anaheim and Corbyn met us at the counter. She helped expedite the paperwork. What I like about AIH labs is that they have immediate testing as well as 1, 2, 4 hour etc results available at very affordable prices. Also their testing is more comprehensive than other labs as they separate the materials within a sample, which other labs don't always do. Last month we had testing done via email from another company and the testing was a week later than promised. AIH testing was prompt, accurate and comprehensive. They always keep their time commitments. They get 100 stars if it was possible. I am very happy with the response and professional results. They go above and beyond. read more

I found AIH Laboratory through a quick internet search. Their website was easy to navigate and clearly explained their qualifications and standards to perform such testing for homeowners. The steps to collect a sample and mail it for testing were clear and easy to understand. As a homeowner, I appreciate the ease with which I was easily able to secure accurate and reliable testing for a reasonable cost. read more

Just bought a fixer upper from the 1960s and a lot of the house is in its original state. It still has the popcorn ceiling and we found vinyl flooring once we pulled back the carpets. We definitely want to remove the popcorn ceiling and the vinyl flooring, but was concerned with asbestos (especially with homes built before the 1970s). Found AIH Laboratory thought Yelp and this place is quality, quick, and affordable. All we had to do was chip off a sample and place in a ziplog bag. Prices and sample size below: Cost - $21.00 Per Sample (popcorn ceiling, wallboard, glue/mastic, cement board, insulation, etc) Cost - $30.00 Per Sample (flooring) Turnaround Time - 24 Hours Sample Size - 1 square inch (Non-Friable Material) or 1 teaspoon (Friable Material) You can mail or drop into the office We got both our ceiling and several flooring samples tested and got results back in exactly 24 hours via email. Highly recommend this place! read more

Reasonable prices. Drop box service was good - we dropped it off at night when it was convenient for us, and I got my results when they said I would. Would definitely use them again if I needed to. read more

We needed to test for asbestos and AIH was recommended by my neighbor, who's an architect. I would have to say that it's very convenient to get your samples tested. Here's the detail: You can either get the sample yourself or ask them to send a technician to your house to get the sample for you. When I called, the price for sending someone is around $500, but it included (I think) 10 sample testings... that's a little bit higher than other companies I called but it's in the ballpark. Given the price, I decided to get the samples myself. After a couple Youtube videos and a quick trip to Lowe's to get the protective gear, I was ready to go. The testing price is very reasonable, so I took more samples than needed. I took 6 separate samples from our house, placed in ziplock bags, filled out the paperwork and dropped it off at their office at night (to avoid the traffic). I received the testing result back within 24 hours (dropped off at 10pm, they probably opened the samples in the morning 8am or shortly after, I got the result around 4:30pm)... that's pretty efficient. read more

I have worked with AIH Laboratory two times now and both times have received excellent customer service, quick responses, and great follow-through. They are a reputable company approved to do lead testing (and probably a lot more) for companies looking to be approved by the CPSC for new products. I cannot recommend them enough. I rarely write reviews. This is my first on Yelp. We have a remodeling job which would require removing some plaster and stucco wall as well as disturbing a popcorn ceiling. So I hired this company to come to take samples and test. The result shows asbestos in ceiling but not stucco and less than 1% for plaster wall. They told me that in California the asbestos content has to be less than 0.1% for it to be removed without license and that a more accurate but more expensive test needs to be performed to determine that. I grudgingly agreed. When the new test result came out, there was no asbestos detected in the samples. They told me they will update the initial test report and refund the charge for the new test. I was quite surprised because I did some research and learned that the first test based on Polarized Light Microscopy is a rough test and can yield false positive result. So their charge for the second test is totally legitimate and I have no problem paying for it. The fact that they refunded me shows an extraordinary level of concern for their customer's feelings and a high level of integrity which needs to be praised and made known. read more

Wanting to check on asbestos content in our popcorn acoustic ceiling, I found AIH through Yelp and found they were fairly close and offered a drop box service since I wouldn't be able to get there during business hours. They have easy to follow directions for sample collection and paperwork on their site. I was able to drop it off, and got my results emailed back to me the next day. I will use AIH Laboratory for all my testing needs in future projects. read more

I was in need of a quick asbestos test on some insulation in an attic I need to remove. I was looking online and came across the ad at the top of the page on Google for AIH. I immediately gave them a call. The process is super fast different options for how quickly you want the test results and the prices are very affordable. I took the sample to the office and received my results back in 2 hours. If I ever have to use this service again I will definitely be coming back to AIH! Thank you so much asbestos free! read more

fantastic! I do organic vegetable gardening, and I periodically get my soil tested. I wish I had found this laboratory sooner. The price was 1/2 of other laboratories I brought my soil to. Real easy to understand the results and compare with EPA standards. It's more expensive if you need a 24 turnaround, but if you are willing to wait a 1 week, you get the results by email it's much more reasonable. Also normally laboratories just give you the results, but don't actually explain what they are supposed to mean, and you usually have to do the research yourself to identify if your lead levels are higher the average, or acceptable.. The technician at AIH had someone call me back to clarify some concerns, and emailed me information to use as a reference. Will be sending them more samples since the price is within my budget. read more

Aih was very professional on delivering us a quick 24 hour turn around response that proved that there was no asbestos detected. the cost of $21.00 for just a little sample was very reasonable. Would i use Aih Laboratory again? Absolutely with out a doubt. Sometime it is essential to have peace of mine especially when you are involved in home improvement. Great customer service. After some irresponsible demo and an encounter with some precarious ceiling tiles, I was in the market for a quick asbestos test. I fedexed a sample, paid via paypal and received my results an hour after AIH received the sample. Money well spent for piece of mind. read more

This is a great place if you want to get quick and cheap testing for asbestos. I believe they test other things too. Just bring a small once inch sample in and you can get results the next day for a very reasonable price. Zubair is really nice, friendly, and helpful too. I wanted to get my old vinyl floor tested for asbestos and would have paid 3 times the price if I had someone come over my place. Instead I found AIH and ended up saving money for next day results. read more
