I scheduled a routine lab appointment at LabCorp, 1950 Sunnycrest Drive, and unfortunately had a very concerning experience. The front desk staff were unprofessional and unhelpful, and my attempts to seek clarification or assistance were not addressed. One receptionist, in particular, spoke to patients in a disrespectful manner. In addition, there appeared to be frequent gossiping between reception staff and a phlebotomist, which contributed to an unprofessional environment. The waiting room was overcrowded, and there did not appear to be an appropriate sense of urgency in assisting patients. The overall atmosphere created unnecessary stress and made the environment feel disorganized and unsafe. Experiences like this can discourage patients from seeking care and undermine confidence in the quality of service. 1045 am, October 02,2025 I pulled in the medical plaza thinking I was barely making my appointment and looking for a parking spot! I found a couple but it was for the building next door. I proceeded to park in the spot thinking I was going to be in and out of here! Oh no, was I wrong. The LabCorp was packed! And then I checked my appointment time... Holy cow! I'm an hour early. Phew... I rush back out and decided to move my car. I did not want to be towed. So, your options for parking are 1) Parking structure, 1st 30 minutes free, beyond is $1.5/30 minutes. 2) There's street parking available on Valencia Mesa. Short walk to the building. I do the express check-in via the mobile text received but also at their kiosk as I wasn't sure the phone method worked. At the kiosk, you'll need to scan your DL. All checked in, it said that I can go wait elsewhere that I'm comfortable. Heck yes, get me out of that cramped waiting area. Ridiculous... I'm sitting on the bench just outside of the building entrance doors writing this review. It's much nicer out here with fresh air. Getting nervous, ten minutes past the appointment time... Ooh, the text messaging worked but back to the receptionist to confirm information and lab orders. Back to waiting again for next available phlebotomist. This waiting room is way too small, way too many people. Finally, I get called, 30 minutes past the appointment time! I'm not surprised. SMH. The phlebotomist is nice, however, I judge them on their skills for drawing blood. I will let this experience slide... WTF are you going to do? She couldn't find a vein, I guess I need to chop off the defective left arm! Haha! She asked to use the other arm, how kind that she asked. As I said, what are you going to do? Reschedule? Hell no! My time is valuable, #JUSTDOIT. She was able to get the vials done. Her wrap on the left arm comes undone and unravels. C'mon now. Greenhorn, a little inexperienced, or just cheap not using enough stretch bandage?? All done except she presents me the little cup for the sample! Haha, fine, this one is no problem! If you are unfamiliar with location, I highly recommend you go to a larger location or at least call to talk to one of the staffers to ask about their slow and busy times. I know this area so parking on the street isn't an issue. I've never experienced such a busy and tiny LabCorp location. Even the phlebotomist said it's their smallest location in the area. Oy vey... My phlebotomist did her best to care for me, she was gentle, but strike one was the big miss. Strike two was not bandaging properly. These are on her. The facility is too small for my liking. I'd choose another location and will only return if I had no other options. read more

The phlebotomist who took my blood seems to be a nice person but my problem is she could hardly place the tourniquet on my arm, it keeps popping out . I had to help her to put it in place . I asked her how old she is, she's 80!. I got anxious if she can still draw my blood properly , thank God she made it. I think she's too old for this job . Maybe just a desk job for her. read more

My name is Michael. I am a patient at Providence. I was sent over to this location to have my blood drawn. I've never had blood drawn before first time but when I spoke with the front desk specifically Karina Z she was very rude. No customer service couldn't walk me through the process. I don't know if she was having a bad day or what But I do not recommend going to this LabCorp for this reason people should be treated with respect it takes a few minutes to be kind and to help somebody have a better day. I would not go to this lab again. I got here 10 minutes early and got seen exactly an HOUR AFTER my appointment time (12pm). Receptionist kept saying they'd call me in soon and then 20 mins went by each time.. no apology for the wait or anything. Parking here is a wreck, and the employees don't know where the parking is located. Luckily my car didn't get towed. Waited an hour+ after arriving 15 minutes early to my appointment because the previous walk-ins were a 3 hour wait.

If you make an appointment prepare to wait anyway at least 30 mins, even when no one else is in the office. They don't care, no urgency about anything, especially wasting people's time. Also, they text you a QR code to scan when you get to the appt but when you arrive, there is no scanner. You have to put your driver's license in. My recommendation is go to Quest on Harbor. They are on it. I've have had over a dozen blood tests there and they work like a well-oiled machine. In and out in 10 mins. read more

What in the heck happened to this place?? Awful. A few years ago I came here regularly for over a year, as my doctor was trying to get my body figured out. I had blood tests and draws constantly. The staff was so amazing and friendly!! I almost actually loved coming here... Fast forward to the last year and a half or so. Wow. A complete 180. That woman at the front desk is so amazingly rude and unfriendly. I hesitated updating my review off of one visit, but now that I've been back a handful of times I know that it has definitely slipped down in service and friendliness. Horrible. Here's an example of another weird thing... Rude lady at the front desk says I have a co-pay. I said okay and gave her my card to pay. She said "that'll be 20-50 dollars". I said that was fine and I'd pay whatever was the co-pay. She said it will be anywhere from $20 to $50. A little confused, I asked what was the amount I needed to pay. She said I could pay anything from $20 to $50. Really? I can just pick and choose my cost?? I mean if that's the case, please explain this to me a little more. Never got any sort of explanation. I paid $50. So weird. Hopefully she didn't charge me $20 and keep a $30 tip. She's horrid. The nurses taking blood are somewhat friendly (Latonya, today, was really sweet, sorry if I misspelled), but nothing like the ladies were before. I will continue to go to Labcorp because they seem to be quicker and less hassle than Quest or other places, or maybe I'm just used to it here, dunno. Kind of sad because they know we are at their mercy and they know that no matter how many bad reviews, they can still treat us poorly and be nasty human beings. I wish the "higher ups" would read reviews and take them seriously. Friendly people are out there looking for good jobs, they should be the ones rewarded, not the ones at this front desk. So apparently, I am at high risk of getting a stroke so my doctor decided to refer me to get lab testing done to see what mystery is hurting me. After searching around different locations, I found the Fullerton one had an open spot for the next day. Cool cool I am pretty lucky. First off, the parking structure charges to park here after the free 30 minutes. Unless you are dropping off stuff or just filling out paperwork, there is no way you are getting out within 30 minutes. Even though I scheduled an appointment, they called my name like 20 minutes later. Not a bad wait time if I wasn't being charged on the clock lol. They are also on the 2nd floor and you may get lost trying to find the office in a giant maze, but who doesn't love mazes? Also unless you have an appointment, your check-in is through a kiosk. If you go up to them, they will get annoyed and just tell you to do it yourself there. I heard them talking to people there while waiting for my appointment. The good thing though was once I was getting my blood drawn, the guy was super friendly and gave me a cup of water after 4 tubes were done. I swear I never get dizzy, but from fasting and 4 tubes of blood loss, I had to put my head down for a bit. They definitely shot me up well there, but I was just trying to shoot out here after a few minutes to avoid the fee haha. Also, results came immediately that same night. Not sure if I should be excited or scared about them, but it was almost like I had Prime same-day shipping activated so I appreciated the timely results at least. read more

Everything was so smooth today - such a 180 from most the reviews I read. It was my first time here today. I parked in the parking structure (first 30min are free). I found the lab super easily, contrary to the reviews, there were signs outside to let you know what suite number you're looking for. Once I walked in, I was welcomed, asked for paperwork, and prompted to check in. I was a walk-in. I did not make an appointment. The check in booth walks you through the steps and is super simple to follow. I waited all of 5 minutes to get called in and do my routine bloodwork. Tanya helped me at the front and also drew my blood. She was so kind, interactive, and you can tell she has a heart for people. Highly recommend this location. read more

Making the appointment on-line was easy and efficient for the Brea location. I did however wait almost 35 minutes to be seen and that's with the required arrival 15 minutes early. The check-in staff was helpful. My reason for the 2 star rating is because the Phlebotomist who took care of me seemed rushed and when tying the "rolled" rubber band as opposed to flat on my bicep resulted in being very painful and I said so. Next, she had me hold my arm straight and out in the air (odd?) and inserted the needle into my vein, again very painful. Next she tied a rubber band with gauze also tight around the injection sight and I couldn't wait to get it off. Next, I gave a urine sample as instructed, Phlebotomist wrote my name on the container and I placed it in the silver cabinet as instructed. The Lab report indicated that I did not provide a urine sample therefore no results. Finally, at the injection site there was residual blood coagulation under the skin at the injection site and that has never happened before and leaving me bruised. Following my doctor's appointment to read my results I called and left a message at Lab Corp to find out where the missing results are and what happened to them and I am waiting for a call back. Overall, this was a painful and terrible experience and now missing results. I am trying another Lab Corp location for future tests as my insurance has switched from Quest to Lab Corp. Full disclosure, I've used Lab Corp in the past without these type of problems. I hope they counsel the Phlebotomist and improve their patient care. read more

If you are going to the Fullerton one you need to know their system. Initially the girl at the front desk was snarky and rude however later after I asked for to speak to a lab managers she was nicer and told me where the closest entrance was located. They will not assist with any person that is having difficulty walking. I was told directly and clearly that there are no wheelchairs at any Labcorp. They just don't have them. So I asked how they manage people that are having difficulty walking the response was "We don't have that here". Everything else was normal and we got in right away without any other difficulties. The phlebotomist was very skilled and I had absolutely no bruising at the blood draw site on my arm. This is my first interaction with Lab Corp. Then they made me sign a document stating I may be liable for a $25 copay even though I showed them my insurance benefit of a zero copay. I've been coming here for a couple of years now and everything is about as routine as always. What they have upgraded over the years is the check-in process which is now electronic. If you go in as a walk-in, you just give your lab work forms that your doctor gave you to the front desk. The lady handling the front desk will ask you to electronically check-in at 2 small quiosk machines, then you partial name will pop up on a screen to show your wait status. Pretty simple. I've always encountered nice phlebotomists and I've never had a problem checking in or missing paperwork. I typically have simple blood work orders for routing physicals. Make sure to always bring your paperwork with you along with your ID and insurance card. read more

Horrible service/communication. Their flier they give doctors shows they are open Saturdays, which they are not. Yelp shows they are open till 6pm, which they are not. I tried calling to make sure they were open and I was able to drop off the sample. There is no way to talk to a person. I show up during business hours following my doctors directions, they tell me the location is not able to take the sample. Rather, I have to go to a different location, which is by appt only. I wasted 2 samples, 4 hours of driving, and wasted time off work. This place is horrible with communication. It's apparent they do not care about their customers. I specifically came to this location for IVF Blood Work and both the staff at this Lab Corp location and Bradley "A Billing Supervisor" for the Anaheim area stated that they would not be able to "service me" due to a $20 past due bill that wasn't even mine. Lab Corp said it was mine because the demographics of my birthday and last name matched, are you kidding or is this an early April Fools Joke? Garcia is a VERY common last name in So Cal and this location is so hard up for money they stalled and put a $20 billing ahead of patients! There is a time and place for everything and the fact that they held up my blood work that my IVF Clinic is paying for which is worth more than $20 is heinous.
