Worst place to go! I went to accompany someone only and I saw how rude they were to people who had appointments and worse treatment for those who were walk ins! They didn't want to provide face masks for those in need and had no one to help up front if people had questions or specimen drop offs! I don't recommend coming even w appointment! Stand by is the worst too! read more

I had the worst experience trying to go in for a simple drug test. There is no front desk so you check in through an iPad and the wait time was about 30 minutes at the time. I noticed that my name had been removed from the standby list once so I put myself down on the list again. I waited for an hour just to find out that my name was again no longer on the list. I asked one of the healthcare providers that came out to call someone in what had happened to my name on the list. She rudely asked where had I been because they had been apparently calling my name for a while. I told her that I had been there waiting for almost and hour and a half waiting and not once was my name called. I asked how it can be resolved and if I should put my name down again for a chance to be called and she said to just look at the board and see if my name was there. Not only did they waste my time there, but they completely ignored the fact that I had been waiting for longer than the initial 30 minute wait time and refused to help me out. read more

Rude customer service, the girl need to take a communication class to learn how to properly and nicely explain something to patients

I've had a lot of good experiences with Quest in the past, but this location, especially during COVID, has to be one of the absolute worst locations I have ever been to. The staff were incredibly unprofessional the entire time I was there. To start, there are no signs stating walk-ins should wait outside. There also was maybe two people standing outside which I assumed during COVID, they preferred to not stand and wait in a stuffy office. I walked in, patiently waited 6ft away for my turn and stepped up to ask if walk-ins needed to check-in. The lady at the front cut me off and rudely said, "You need to wait outside, can't you see there are people standing out there?" When I finally got inside and checked in, I spent a good half hour just listening to the office staff speak rudely to guests, make fun of guests behind their back, and complain openly about sensitive guests (a child getting their blood drawn). One woman working was loudly and openly complaining about having to do a blood draw on a woman because they thought she had COVID. In a disgusted voice she yelled to the front of the office, "Well I still gotta poke her! Hope to god it ain't COVID!" A child was getting her blood drawn and screaming bloody murder. They must have had to do it twice because she stopped screaming for a while and then it started again. I won't comment on that because I know kids can freak out with needles, but I thought it was really unprofessional to see the ladies at the front roll their eyes during her screams and openly complain, "God what is going on back there?" Look, I've worked in customer service, and I get that people are shitty. I also know you work hard without a lot of thank you's. However, when you work in a blood draw clinic, many people going are sick and not feeling well. What they need is some compassion. I walked into the clinic today to get tests related to cancer, and the treatment I got, and heard others having, really made this experience even more stressful. I'm giving two stars because the woman who took my blood was nice and professional and seemed to be avoid the drama amongst the office. read more

I was pretty concerned when I saw all the bad reviews but I had a very good experience here. I had a 6:20 am appointment. I checked in with the link they texted me at 6:10 and Alma called me back at 6:12 and was back home by 6:30. She was very friendly, was accommodating when I told her I needed to lay down when she took my blood. I didn't feel a thing she was so gentle. I really appreciated her and my experience on this visit. read more

Sign in at 2:30 waited 40 minutes just to be told by the rude staff that they are not taking anymore walk-ins when it states that walk-ins are welcomed. They should have let me know first before I waited. Very unprofessional and rude staff. Made everyone even with an appointment wait 30 minutes. They are either incompetent or careless employees. Either way that puts patients are the ones who suffer because of of the unprofessionalism. They behave in this manner because it's a underserved community and they feel like patients here are second class citizens. read more

Today is Halloween and I'm super pregnant... I had such a nice experience. The woman who was in the lobby that helped me in the morning assured me that I would be seen as a walk in but there is a wait and prioritize the appointments. Totally understand! It was super fast when they called my name. I went in around 8:30am ish. I was called in around 9:20 am... Star was the name of the woman who helped me in the back. She eased my mind w the blood being taken. She was so fast, quick, efficient. I also did a urine culture and she was helpful for that as well. I initially went in for a prenatal panel but I really had no idea what I was doing. I handed her all my paperwork and packets (it was a lot of paperwork) and she took her time and made sure to do everything that was asked because I had no idea what I needed. I really appreciate her kind words and she congratulated me on the pregnancy. I would definitely use this facility again. I do recommend appointments but the beauty is it's close and you can do walk ins. Drink lots of water and remember to always be kind to the staff. They work very hard. Thank you Star for the wonderful experience. read more

Never Had Such A Horrible Experience Like This .. I Walked In Noticed I forgot My Mask In The Car But I Didn't Have One So I Was Gonna Give The Lady A Dollar For The Mask But She Want's To Have A Nasty Attitude With Patients & Myself For No Reason . Anyway I Was Standing In The Lobby Waiting At The Front Desk Since I Got There Which Was 12:35 My Drug Screen Appointment Was At 12:40 I've Been Standing At The Front Desk Roughly 15 Minutes Along With Other Patient's She Finally Came Up To Me & Said "Sir You Need A Mask" with a horrible attitude "She You Don't have One In Your Car I Replied No I Do Not Still In A Respectful Way She Replied "Well Did You Not See "The Sign On The door Saying We are Running Low" I Just Replied "Ohh Okay" Again In A Respectful Manner That's Just The First Part I Go Back & Take A Seat By Then It's Already 1:05 Again My Appointment Was At 12:40 So I Came Ready To Pee Been Holding it for 40 Minutes At This Point & no Patients Were Being Called In So At This Point I'm About To Pee Myself So I Stood Up Walked Over To The Front Desk Stood There For Another 15 Minutes & Yes The Lady's we're Passing By The Hall Clearly Visible To Them They Just Ignore Me A lot With 3 Patient's That We're Standing In Line Behind Me At This Point I Get Frustrated And Knock On There Door To The Hall Way Where They Walk The Patient's In Now That finally Got There Attention , The Same Lady That Told About The Mask With Her Nasty Attitude Starts Yelling At Me from Down the hall To The Lobby Which Is Where I Was Standing So Ofc I Start Yelling Back So I Said "Come Talk To Me" Talk To Me Over Here In The Lobby Don't Be Yelling At Me" She Proceeded To Turn Her Back Now Saying Stuff Under Her Breath I Tried To To Stay Cool But Then A Lady Walked Up To Me With A Nasty Attitude Asking Me What I Needed "I Answered I Really Need To Pee I've Been Holding it for over 40 Minutes At This Point & I Came Ready To Pee For My Test "She Replied If you Go Pee You Can't The Drug Test" I Replied Well Can you Just Give Me A Cup And You Can Keep It back There For When I Get Called Up. Her Reply Its A Process You Have To Wash You're hands Get Check In" My Response Was "So You're Saying I Can't Use The Public Restroom & I Can't Leave ? Also I Asked Well Can You Tell Me Roughly How Many People Are In Front Of Me"... She Said This "The Computer's Don't Give Us That Information" My Response " What Information Does it Give you Then?" She's Talking To Me With Aggression So I Returned The Favor & She Yell's You Really Want to Pee Opens The Wooden Door I Knocked On Earlier To Get There Attention... She Opened The Door With Aggressively & Doesn't Even Tell Me Where The Restroom is So I Walk Around Until I found it Go inside Take Care Of Business Walk Back Out To The Waiting Lobby & Take A Seat On The floor Cuz They had No Available Chairs Available.. They Call A Patient Then They Call Me Right After So I'm There Like Are You Kidding Me Right Now They Laughed & Started Taking My Information Like The Bar Code For The Appointment She Is All Done Taking My Information and Told me to Walk With Her She Only Gave Me 1 Minute After I Had Just Released Everything So Obviously I Didn't Meet The Mark. She Sends Me Back To The Lobby To Wait Until I Have To Pee Again. I Go Ahead & Take My Seat Back On The floor Because That's How Backed Up They Were Lolygaging With The Patient's ... 20 minute's Go By I Feel The Urge So I Stood Up Walked To The Front Desk I Waited For At least 10 Minutes Finally The Lady From The Mask Argument Walk's & Says "You're Back We Told You Not To Leave" At This Point I'm Boiling Hot ... I Said How Do You Know I left If one Nobody's At The Front desk Where The Line Of Sight Was To The front Door.. They Never Came Out And Scanned The Nor Called My Name , I Told Her Check You're Camera's .. She Replied "We Don't Have Any" I said "Ask These Other Patient's That Were Sitting Right Next To Me" She Answered "No With A Attitude & A Nasty Look On Her Face Then She Laughed And Still Marked That I left When Asked Not To But They Never Checked Called My Name To See If I Really Left..... Negative 5 Stars Horrible Service Do They Even Want To Work There Cuz It Sure Does Not Seem Like It DO NOT COME HERE OR YOU WILL BE TREATED WITH NO RESPECT & NASTY ATTITUDES ‼‼‼‼ read more

Rude and unprofessional. Took my daughter for bloodwork and they had a slight misunderstanding with insurance but they figured it out. Because of medication she is on she has to do bloodwork once a month . So we go for the second time and lady up front was super rude / and said we don't take your insurance. How can that be? I respond . When we told her that we were just there the month prior . She quips back .: I see that but we don't take it . You gotta go to labcorp. Thinking that it might've been some change in our policy we head to labcorp. Then they tell us same thing . "We don't take your insurance " you gotta go downstairs to so and so . Again we head downstairs and what do you know ... they don't take our insurance / . So this was all with in a 2 day span because certain places open n closes later than others. Up in arms I call my insurance company and they tell me that we are with quest / and they don't see why she didn't take our insurance . So I am beyond livid at this point and I can't even call them Because they don't have anyone picking up phones there . Covid or not, we all still have jobs to do . If you can't be nice at least be professional and do your job. read more

Quest Diagnostics Anaheim was very professional, fast, and happy. Kim was a delight and is a very cheerful nurse who knows her stuff and keeps you smiling. Everyone complaining here clearly did not make an appointment. I had an 8:40 appt, took me a second to figure out the check in kiosk, but sat down at 8:45, was called back at 8:52 and just got out at 9:01. Nehal was fantastic, great conversation, no pain whatsoever! Very quick and painless! Thank you for being so great! read more

It's the bad service for me !!! It clearly says walk ins are welcome and they demanded I come in with an appointment otherwise they couldn't tell m how long I would be waiting I've never had this issue at the location on la Palma thankful I drove myself there and got my blood work done in less then 10 minutes!!!! The girls in the front can use some good costumer service classes smh!!! read more

staff is extremely rude and have people waiting for SOMEONE to come up to the front instead of hanging out in the back

Ok let me tell you about this location. Oh boy was the previous review spot on in regard to not having an appointment. I expected a wait time, but today how I was treated was absolutely ridiculous. After I pre registered with the touch panel at the front desk and waited about 45 min I went back in there ( they require you to wait outside or in your car if you don't have an appointment) I asked the rude lady at the front desk Maria I've been waiting outside over 45 min any idea how much longer until you take my insurance info? Not even to do the blood draw, how long until you take my insurance!!? She's like oh well we've had people waiting here since 7am. First off that's a lie. I told her I've watched every single person clear out the waiting room in addition to several more people coming just to still not be called In to provide my insurance info. Then the lady standing behind Maria didn't catch her name older Hispanic lady with blonde hair said well you can make an appointment at a different location. Then Maria states, well were open until 4pm. Now mind you I got there at 1:40pm. So basically your saying I have to wait until closing time. Wow now this place wasn't congested like most Quests I've seen. So after waiting an hour and a half I decided to leave. Well wouldn't you know when I left there's the phone call. No surprise!! Quest Diagnostics you need to have some of these front desk people take a customer service class if they are going to be working with patients. Obviously from the previous reviews they have done absolutely nothing to improve this location because the same things are still occurring. This is the type of behavior my insurance pays for. Absolute garbage on how they treat their patients. read more

I've been to this location 2x & both times the wait was about 45min but it was expected bc there was a lot of people. They have a good system there of checking yourself in & showing your wait time on their tv. the employees call you up for order & payment & then before you know it, it's your turn. I had the best experience with one of the phlebotomists Demarus. She took my blood so fast & painless & the second time she was working the desk but when I asked if she cud do my blood work she surprised me & did it for me! She made my experience so much better. She's a true professional! read more

It's no wonder this facility has a 2 star rating, customer service is terrible. They say it's by appointment only with first service. I get that but just as I was walking in, a lady came in saying she had an appointment at 7:00am, ok well she was already 15 mins late. I read a few of the postings, someone mentioned about her mom being told if she wasn't on time for her appointment, they'd cancel her appointment. What a disappointment, I arrive there before opening at 7:00am and just left at 9:00am. As I received my text finally at 1% bars left on my phone! Now mind you, you can fill out your information on your phone to register with all your insurance info as well. Walking in I was asked if I'd receive a text? Well ya, then asked for my insurance info. I mentioned I had already sent this info, she replied, this iPad doesn't give this type of information, I let her know I also send my information through my phone. Oh no, this means she'll need to actually use her computer! Rudest woman at this facility ever. I get this isn't a restaurant or any place of class but come on, face it ladies, your facility would not be opened if you didn't have clients/ patients. My doctor recommended this facility, unfortunately I will have to inform my doctor with updates before they spoil their good reputation. This is so sad because it's so convenient for myself where I live and I am sure with our neighbors is also a convenience for them but the staff at this facility is terrible no respect no smiles no good morning no nothing definitely not a good place to have your blood drawn or wasting your money I'm sure there's other quest diagnostic centers around. read more

To be honest I was scared coming here after seeing nothing but bad reviews. So I wanted to come on here and say I had a great experience here today. Was very simple all you have to do is call ahead book an appointment with the automated system and show up that day and time. Make sure you bring any paper from your doctors that show what you need and Once you get there check in at the Kiosk simple as that and wait to be called on. I was helped by 2 ladies and both were very kind and helpful. I will definitely use Quest Diagnostics's in the future if needed. Thank you Quest Team Happy Thanksgiving read more

I am absolutely appalled with the attitude of the young African American girl and the older Hispanic lady with short blond hair, working at the reception desk. I have been a customer service supervisor for over 20 years and if one of my team members treated people the way they do, they would be reprimanded in a heart beat. I sat and watched the AA (african american) girl be absolutely rude and condescending to EVERY patient that she assisted. Her body language and tone of voice told me she thought she was superior to everyone else. Look here missy, the clinic's demographic is minority based. YOU YOURSELF are black. You hold NO superiority to ANYONE else. And if you thought your financial status put you above and beyond everyone else, you wouldn't be working at Quest. Her tone was continuously aloof and bothered. She acted as if she was doing the patients a favor. I could not believe the way she treated these people. This Quest is very close to my residence and on my way to work. I will go OUT OF MY WAY to NEVER come here again if I can help it. The older Hispanic lady was no better. I had come in the day before to have blood work done and she did not greet me with even eye contact. "Fill your name in, on the clip board" No "Have a seat, and we'll be right with you." or any other type of instruction. I have NEVER seen reception like this ever. I hope the office manager or the owner sees this and makes the necessary adjustments. This completely ruined my morning. People like this DO NOT belong in customer service. read more

The staff is helpful and kind. The waiting room is clean and very well spaced out for patients. They are very organized and I love that it's not a ton of people in the office or traffic of people. By appointment only so don't forget to do that before coming or I think if you come in right when they open you can check. But I would strongly recommend to book appointment in advance. I'm nervous but I know I'm in good hands. read more

This location I do not recommend to anyone very unprofessional and does not know what's going on and very rude especially the receptionist or whatever her title is she needs a better attitude. You don't treat any patients or people with negative attitude if you don't like your job go else where treat people like you want to be treated with respect. Lucky I gave one star! How do you not treat or help a patient when there is literally no one in the lobby and your just sitting and standing there doing nothing so ridiculous they need to be trained again on customer service place is horrible man! Worst Quest Diagnostics lab ever. Usually, Quest front desk employees and phlebotomists have a reputation of being rude, but the staff at this particular lab was rude in a whole other level. Patients were asking other patients for help to sign in even thou the front desk girl was right sitting right there. I helped one of the patients. When I gave my paperwork and said if they take walk ins she gave me a rude look and said "that's fine". Hated the overall experience. read more

If I could give zero stars I would. I took the morning off of work to do this I take the bus. I'm new to Orange County and missed my connecting bus , I saw it drive away as I turned the corner. I arrived at Quest 2 mins after my appointment was scheduled 2 mins when I attempted to check in via the text I received this morning on my way here and was told to reschedule for being more then 1 min late. What kind of business does not allow a grace period? 5 mins would have been sufficient and now I have no idea how long it will be before I can get the time off to do this again.Quest must have more business then they know what to do with as this is an absurd policy.Life happens things don't always work out as planned. I will change my healthcare group before I ever walk through the doors of this place. I can only imagine what other customer service nightmares await those in need of the services they clearly have no interest in providing. read more

I do not recommend anyone going to this location. Fadia, the front office lady makes everyone wait 1 hr- 2 hrs. She has the worst attitude and no compassion to any elderly people. Scheduled an appointment online for my 8 yr old and my 5 yr old one week in advance. I chose the earliest time which was 8 AM. We arrived at 7:50 AM and checked in online. Literally no wait time! Got called into the back room before 8 AM. The waiting area is clean. Unfortunately, I didn't get their names but the two staffs were friendly, informative, and made my children feel comfortable. Four vials of blood per kid, less than 5 minutes, and we were done. The only con I have to say about this location is that they do not have a receptionist, you would have to check in yourself via your phone or the check-in kiosk in the front. I know not everyone is capable of doing especially for the elders. It is a challenge for the technicians to draw your blood, answer questions and assist where needed. But overall, 10/10 highly recommend this location! read more

Sorry for the late review I promised you all! My unlucky fasting test done at the location by Ball & Brookhurst months ago was fraught w/trepidation after reading a few reviews, so I was ecstatic to be proven wrong. Everyone there was friendly & helpful, & when Juvy took 2/3 of my blood (lol) I didn't even feel it! I arrived early, as advised, & was out in just over 1/2 hr. My advice would be to tell people to come to the clinic from Ball instead of that convoluted back-alley dog-leg extraordinaire, since YOU CAN SEE THE CLINIC FROM the street. Please keep up the great work. :-) read more

I just love Quest Diagnostics located at 2229 W. Ball Rd Suite C, Anaheim, CA. I give them 5 stars for excellent customer service and promptness. Everytime I go there the lobby and technician rooms were blood is being drawn are always very clean. I've been going to this location for years and I've never had a bad experience. So I'm surprised by people having to wait a long time. I normally come in around 11:00 or 1:00 and there are not that many people waiting. I come in with my dad who needs a blood test every 6 weeks or so. I went one time to the location on La Palma and had to wait an hour an 15 minutes and was so surprised the first time I came to this location. Not many people in the waiting room and the ladies drawing the blood are super fast. Just know how to check yourself in on the iPads in front. Better not to try to speak to someone to check in because they will just ask you to check in on the iPad anyway. All in all 5 stars because it is usually not crowded and the ladies drawing the blood are really fast. read more

If I could put zero stars I would. I take my 19 month son to get blood work done . If you don't know what you're doing let someone else and to top it off she walks out saying she wasn't doing it and then no one else stepped up to do it like come on be more professional about it and more gentle for god sake a baby! Went in to get blood drawn and I let the girl know that I'm hesitant about needles the girl quickly gets upset and takes off the rubber band that was around my arm and rudely says "it's not going to hurt so I need you to stay still" I then calmed down and did as she said. As soon as the needle came out it looked my arm looked bruised. That quick. She lived up to the expectation of my needle fears. One week later and my arm is still bruised and in pain. I stretch out my arm and I feel like something is pulling. I have never felt this pain before I came to this quest diagnostics. Weird huh? First of all, I tried calling this location directly to ask them a few questions and I kept getting their corporate automated system so when I walked into the establishment I asked the receptionist if there was a direct number I could call for this location and she said NO. Literally 5 minutes later she gets a call from someone she knew personally because she started talking to them about the food and drinks they were going to get after work. When I finally got called in for my blood work, the same receptionist walked in and took my blood. She didn't wash her hands, didn't wear gloves, she poked me more than 3 times with the needle, and was very rude. It's been three weeks since this happened and my arm is still bruised and slightly swollen. Avoid this place!! read more

There's no way to give a zero star rating. Most doctors appointments now are done virtually so you're not handed paper orders they refuse to help you if you do not have printed out orders then told I need to make an appointment to pick up a collection cup for my son, just to pick up the cup and then I need to make an appointment to drop it off how does that make any sense the doctor would like to sample within this month not the three weeks from now your first appointment is available having no blood work done just a to pick up and drop off collection cup. While waiting to try to get her to look up my sons orders two senior citizens came in stated they had been waiting hours in their car that they weren't feeling well because they hadn't eaten and they wanted to hurry up and get their blood test or whatever done lady just said I'm sorry we don't do walk ins you can keep waiting or try to come back another day didn't even bother to try to help them by giving them the web address to make an appointment or the 1800 number to me that seems a little dangerous to leave senior citizens sitting out in their car for hours.
