Horrible experience with Quentin defense. Literally the worse experience with that company despite the industry. And even worse considering the industry. I have a 2hr almost 100 miles round trip, only to get there and find out the $600 ARQ10 receiver set was badly damaged. Covered with scratches, blemishes, burrs, machine marks etc. I paid for a premium price, and expected a premium product, not SUBPAR one. I also had to pay $60 to my FFL, and got a flat on the way home, all of that for nothing. I contacted Quentin defense, the customer service was just as bad if not worse because they said they wouldn't sell it as a blemished price, though it was beyond blemished. They even said they were aware of the damaged product BEFORE they sent it and did it anyway. They said they were going to fix the problems with their machines and contact me back about reimbursing me for the fees I incurred and sending me a new 1....that was October 2022, over a year ago and to this day I have yet to have been contacted or compensated for their fault and failure. If I could give them a negative 10 star rating, I definitely would, they truly desire it. I was prepared to buy even more of their products, and send some of my friends way. Not now having experienced what they truly think of us, their customers. I'll try to attach pics so you can see the lack of care they have for both, their products and customers.

My "engraving" on a $1500 NFA registered item that is now permanently defaced.

I'll preface this with the fact that I've had multiple engravings done here and transferred a suppressor with QD, but all with prior ownership. I took my newly bought and newly form 1'd CZ Scorpion for a simple SBR engraving. I dropped it off in the morning and picked it up just before closing. When I picked it up I was sorely disappointed with the quality. You could tell the laser was way too hot and it basically melted blobs around the letters. You could barely make out the info and the new owner said "that's good enough right" and "I don't know what else they want me to do with it." I didn't raise a stink or get belligerent but went home disappointed in choosing them but at least it was done, albeit poorly. When I was putting it all together, however, I noticed chunks of polymer flakes all over my bench and the lower. I used some CLP and a tooth brush to try and clean it up a bit and to my surprise the engraving was much WORSE than I originally thought. What you could make out for the name was all dust. What was left was just deeply melted blobs in my $1500 NFA item. I called and explained the situation and that I expected a refund. They said ok we'll see you soon. I came in the next day and the owner stared at the engraving perplexed at how that happened or to see if he could still faintly make out the letters to deny my claim I guess. I asked if they left it on metal settings and he proclaimed "no it was on nylon, the lowest setting." He shrugged his shoulders, handed me my money and immediately walked away. Not once did he apologize for melting my receiver, not once did he apologize for me having to now find someone else who was competent to fix his mistake and make my engraving legal so I can finish the build, and not once did he apologize for me having to drive an hour round trip 3 times because of their lack of knowledge. I will never use nor recommend these people to touch ANY firearm of mine. What a shame as the prior owners Jason and Abby were awesome people. These guys are a joke.

Outstanding local Shop who also happens to manufacture some of the most amazing AR style rifles available. JAson, Abby and the crew are superb. Good prices and wide selection in stock. Anything you need to build your dream rifle. Low prices on FFL transfers also. They also do CCw classes & ceracoat for custom finishes.

I came here on the way home expecting to pass over it and end the day disappointed. After going to…read more3 other shops/stores, a beginner, with little to no knowledge of firearms, and being treated like a waste of time, I was prepared with low expectations, especially after seeing the state of this Yelp page. I browsed for a brief bit before one of the gentlemen at the counter noticed I was having trouble figuring my life out. I told about what I learned along the day's events, what I believed I was looking for, and he followed three important steps: he educated me on what I could look for, helped me narrow what I should look for, and made it clear what my options were in that category that made sense. I asked questions, and as a qualified expert and enthusiast, he answered them and beyond. Made me feel welcome, respected me and met me where I was at to introduce me into what has quickly become a new favorite hobby. After some back and forth, I chose a rifle, I had a rough idea of what extra I wanted and he had suggestions in every capacity. I took them all. Because this is what a local business represents: customer service; not because it "should," but because they love their craft and you can see the joy in their eyes when someone else in our community does too. Kyle helped me set up a Springfield Saint Victor, we picked a holosun optic that I've enjoyed more than I should, grip and bipod, extra mag, earpro, and 100 rounds to start the journey. If you find your way in here, respect them, and they will respect you manyfold in return. Thank you!

Got my bow restrung, great service. Now just have to put it to use. Greatful for small business…read moreand local support.

This shop has been really, really good to me. When I first bought my bow they went above and beyond…read moreto help me get setup. It was a used bow and I brought it in to have them check it over before I bought it. They told me what they thought it was worth and didn't even try to sell me on anything new. They were very helpful. After I bought it they helped me out a ton. Set me up with arrows and everything else I needed. They even let me shoot at the range in the back room till my wife called and wondered where the heck I was at. 8 months later I'm 6 days away from my first hunt with my bow and I dry fired my bow and broke the string. I called them and said they could get me dialed in before my hunt, just needed to track down a string for my 6 year old bow. I called around town to compare pricing but literally no one in town could get it for at least two weeks and at this point my hunt was 4 days away. Ed told me to bring it by and he'd see what he could do. The shop had my bow restrung and tuned 3 days later. They even took an extra hour to help me get my bow tuned specifically to my shot before I left. This shop has been very helpful every time I've gone in and are always willing to help out with anything extra I need.
