Wow ! I am really happy with the service and the resulting product. I bought my daughter an inexpensive ring in Mexico when she was about 10 years old. Fast forward 16 years later and the ring was in pretty sad shape and needed a new stone. I bought a new synthetic stone online and brought it to Quenan's. I explained that the ring was very inexpensive and I needed the stones switched out. I liked that they still treated me like the ring was the most precious piece of jewelry on earth! They charged me 1/10th of the cost of other quotes that I got, and the ring looks brand new and actually much better than the original . I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THEM FOR YOUR JEWELRY NEEDS. read more

Quenan's Jewelers - Ring with new stone - Jewelry Near Me - Georgetown, Texas

My husband brought in July 2026 a Pearl set of "Earrings & Necklace". A generational jewelry to be clean. They are large half pearls, color mauve. That day the pearl of the necklace was unattached by them, while cleaning. They recommended to send it somewhere else to fix. Finally on Sept 12 we got the set back. To our surprise a woman named Ana Diaz, delivered the set with a charge for fixing it, (something they broke) of $45.47. She spend quiet a bit of time, looking at it, reviewing it, and gave it back to my husband. While I was browsing the store, that handles merchandise of some designers, a bulk merchandise type. There's no designer there, nothing is special. We got home, and the pearl from the necklace is white!!! now, the earrings were never clean and touched. Personally I think this is just a retail store, with nothing special and zero customer service. read more

We popped into Quenan's Jewelers in the Georgetown downtown square during the Red Poppy Festival. This jewelry store has been in Georgetown for more than 20 years. According to my sales representative, it is the best jewelry store in Georgetown. From the moment you walk in, our sales representative was welcoming and genuinely interested in helping us find exactly what we were looking for. The selection was beautiful, and she took time to explain options without any pressure. My friend and I were just browsing. My 25th wedding anniversary is in June, so I thought look for an item for my hubby to buy. Smile. Our gift purchasing protocol is that I pick and he pays. No selection was made. What stood out to me was the variety of items were reasonably priced. read more

This was my first time being a customer at Quenan's. I had my original engagement ring from years ago and wanted to have it placed in a new setting. Terry was very knowledgable and very patient. I had an idea of exactly what I wanted, he explained what would work and what wouldn't work as far as wearing my wedding bands with a new setting. I finally landed on a setting in their clearance section. I ended up paying less than half of what I expected to be my minimum cost to have this work done. The result is incredible! To say I'm happy with my ring is an understatement. Kudos to their jeweler as well - very good solid work. The pictures really say it all. I'd recommend Quenan's to anyone looking for new jewelry, to modify old jewelry, or create something custom. Thanks Terry! read more

Another jeweler in Austin did major damage to my emerald ring. I spoke to Eric then Terry and a plan was decided upon and I left my beloved ring with them. They performed absolute magic. The ring was reclaimed, redone, cleaned to a brilliant sparkle (even my little baguettes) and I picked new stone (from a super selection with a wide price range) and they set it after all the prongs were replaced. They're not cheap, they're good and when it comes to a special piece I'll never go anywhere else. Highly recommend. read more

We enjoyed our visit to Quenan's. My husband needed a new band after 30+years and mine needed to be sized. It's a pretty little shop on the square and the folks are friendly and knowledgeable. We will be back! read more

This is a family heirloom ring from the 1930's . It belonged to my uncle Bobby . I wanted to restore it to pass it Down to my nephew who was named for his great uncle . Quenans expert jeweler beautifully Restored this ring . Replacing the center Diamond stone with one from another ring I had that was beyond repair . The finished ring was so beautiful , the picture really doesn't do it justice . They had to order the center bracket the stone sits in to do the repair . The care and work is exceptional , My nephew was speechless when he received the ring . Thank you Quenans from the bottom of my heart . They have done other repair work for Me as well . I had my Diamond earrings with screw back posts replaced with smooth security posts . The screw back posts wore Down and would not stay securely fastened . I had a matching matching gold link necklace and bracelet both with broken links repaired . I will never go to another jeweler . This is a Family owned business where they remember your name . The in house expert jeweler is in house . They can custom create / order / fix it Seems anything . Because this isn't a chain jewelry store the selection in store Is elegant / vast / and beautiful . I had passed down my Heirloom pinky ring to my daughter . I wanted to replace the pinky ring with a tiny thin gold ring . I walked in told them what I wanted and in two Weeks had my replacement pinky ring . This is my forever jewelry store . read more

Our family has been going to Quenan's for years, so when it came time to get our wedding bands, we were very excited to shop here. We are from LA, but our parents live in Georgetown. The staff is absolutely amazing - knowledgable, kind, trustworthy, and patient. (Which are such great qualities for associates to have when you're trying on dozens of rings and trying to make a big decision) That was a year ago now. We just went back in over the holidays to get a few brackets tightened on our engagement bands, and not only did they take care of that; they cleaned our rings and re-dipped the white gold completely free of charge. I don't care how far we have to travel - Quenan's will be our go-to jewelers for life. read more

Installed safety chains on 2 bracelets for us and while there sister wanted a new necklace and they worked with her to find exactly what she wanted and ordered a longer chain for one she already owned. Thanks for the great staff and selections read more

Clearing out my mother's home. Took 25+ sparkly rings that belonged to her. I knew that 90% were pretty but had no value. But they told me I could bring them in & they would be glad to verify whether they were real (metals / stones) or simply sparkly. Anna was very kind as she worked with me. Sure enough, it was 95% sparkly, but she identified the rest with the metal & the types of stones for me. She even took a few pieces to the back since the appraiser was available for further info. Beautiful store, lovely staff, very willing to advise and help. Oh, and the jewelry's not bad either (it's gorgeous!!!!) FYI: parking in downtown Georgetown is never easy. Just be prepared. You might have to drive around a little bit. Not Quenan's fault, of course. It is what it is. read more

Fantastic and fast service! They polished my beat-up wedding band to perfection. It was pretty worn, scratched, and dull because I have it on me all day, whether washing dishes, bathing dogs at work, gardening, or getting a soak in the jacuzzi. I dropped it off on Saturday, and it was ready by Thursday morning. The store is warm and cute. The staff is kind and supportive. They have gorgeous jewelry to admire if there are people ahead of you in line. I'll be back for sure again. I highly recommend Quenan's Jewelers! It's a relief to know a jeweler I can trust in town. I took two rings in to be resized. The guy that did the resizing did a great job so kudos to him. I chose this place because of the reviews but boy was I ever fooled! I would not recommend this place to my worst enemy because of the way I was treated by Ana! A single star because of her. I will tell everyone I know about the treatment I received when I was in this business and not to go there! read more

My husband and I LOVE this place. I've read various reviews where the complaint is that they don't take younger clients seriously, I disagree completely. My husband purchased my engagement ring here, and they were so helpful (even when he was just a broke law student). We also purchased our wedding bands here, and various other items along the way. We live in Austin, but this is the only place I will bring my rings to be cleaned, adjusted, you name it----NO ONE else lays a hand on my rings except Steve Quenan and the people he employs! We also love that every time we walk in the door we're greeted with warm friendly welcomes; it's a family-owned jeweler and you can really feel that when you step inside. Highly recommend Quenan's, they're the best! read more

I was very impressed with the combination of the high-class, large selection you would expect from a store in a large city combined with the excellent, personal service you can only find in a small town shop. Diane was very responsive to all of my emails and phone calls. Any time I came in the store, if Diane was with a customer at that time, Mr. Quenan himself would come out from the back and help me. Both of them did a great job and showed tremendous patience in educating me enough to where I felt comfortable making such a large purchase. I would definitely recommend using them for any jewelry needs. read more

Today I dropped off both my engagement and wedding rings to have the white gold rhodium-plated by Quenan's. Just a few hours later, I received the call that the rings were ready for me. When I picked them up, I was blown away by how brilliant both the settings and diamonds were. Really! They hadn't been like that since my husband first purchased them. Thanks Quenan's for giving me a local business to entrust my most precious possessions to. I may not purchase a lot of fine jewelry, but you make the experience friendly, efficient, and professional. Moved to Georgetown 4 years ago. Gave this jewelry store a few pieces to fix..and my mothers ring to add a diamond to...When I went back to get my moms ring (she passed away, and this was what she had left me)..they said they had given it back with the other things I had picked up earlier. I had not gotten it in those things. I stated I had not received it..and she finally looked in the safe. Guess what..it was there. Also, I had asked to be called with how much it would cost to redo and add the diamond in the ring. They did not. The work had been done without the call to me. Needless to say, I will not be going back. The two stars was for the ring looking good. But the scare of her not keeping up with my precious piece was enough not to return. read more

Hands down, best jeweler in town. Steve is honest and his staff provides phenomenal service. I can't imagine ever going elsewhere.

Steve and his team are amazing. He is fair and professional but with plenty of small town warmth. I went in to get two watches serviced. I was greeted immediately after I came in and waited about 5 minutes while a new battery was put in one of the watches. Steve and the woman at the desk chatted with me about my Rolex, which needed its every-three-years or so oiling and servicing. It was nice that they had a person who was a licensed Rolex technician that they didn't have to mail the watch to. I enjoyed the store environment, which in the service business, is totally all about how you are spoken to and how your problem can be solved. I'll be back and I'd recommend Quenan's to any newcomer who may be unsure of a local jewelry store. They have a long family history in this business. read more

My wife and I have been to Quenan's a number of times for servicing jewelry or small purchases. Steve and Kyra and their staff have always been very friendly and nice, so when it was time to upgrade the diamond on the wife's wedding ring, this was our first stop. I had already been doing research online to get approx. diamond values, but was so glad I went to Steve instead. He told me to select a couple of diamonds online with Blue Nile and similar that I was considering, and he then found similar cut, clarity, etc. stones in his network and had them shipped in so I could see them in person. Steve was able to match the online price! Great local service from nice people who worked with us all through the process, without paying more. I highly recommend them! read more

If you're looking for a "good" spot to get jewelry, then this isn't it.... However, if you're looking for the best spot for jewelry with super knowledgeable and helpful staff then you need look no further! I was shopping for a custom engagement ring and went to a few different places in Austin looking for a certain style for a good price. I went to some good stores but all of them had "car salesman" type employees who it seemed like just wanted me to make a purchase and get out. I had a friend recommend Quenan's and decided to stop by. And I'm beyond glad that I did! They didn't have the exact type of ring I was looking for but Eric got on the phone and got me prices and then even took care of customizing the ring with the company. I didn't ever have to really do much! He took care of getting me all I needed at a price that was better than any store in Austin! Plus, the whole time I didn't feel rushed or pressured to buy it. Then when it came to the diamond, he sat down with me for 2 hours or so and explained all that there is to diamonds and brought in a few diamonds to look at. He got me a great deal on a fabulous diamond as well! After this he repeatedly kept me updated with when the ring would be expected and when we hit a delay with the ring company he felt like my lawyer! He worked with the company to expedite my ring! And....it didn't end there! Any questions I've had after the purchase was long gone, he answered without any problems! So, needless to say, I got a killer deal and the best service I experienced anywhere in the Austin/Georgetown area when it comes to jewelry. You just can't beat that! read more

Quenan's Jewlery is a fabulous boutique jewlery store in the heart of historical downtown Georgetown. This is a family owned store and the second you walk in you can't help but fall in love with the incredible staff and the amazing jewlery. I have walked into the store many times in my running clothes gross and sweaty and they are always extremely solicitous and helpful. Not only have they serviced my Tag many times, but they have given me appraisals and even fixed jewlery I didn't even buy there free of charge. A couple of years ago I took an old family heirloom ring to Quenan's because I was never a huge fan of the old setting. Kyra, one of the owners, actually designed a gorgeous new setting for my grandmother and grandfather's diamonds. Kyra gave me a beautiful way to wear an old family heirloom daily, and I have a gorgeous one-of-a-kind setting. I get so many compliments on the ring, and I love that I get to have a part of my great grandparents with me all the time. If you are looking for something for yourself or your sweetheart Quenan's will surely have the perfect thing for you. I cannot gush about them enough. No need to go to a big jewlery store in Austin where you will probably not have the same beautiful selection and exceptional service that you will find at Quenan's. read more

About a month ago, I called this place. I needed to verify that the stone I purchased online was what it was purported to be and understood they have a gemologist on staff. I explained I wasn't looking for an appraisal. This was not an expensive piece. I explained I didn't need anything in writing, just a quick ID. The very nice lady on the phone told me to come back and speak to one of two people who would be there in the afternoon and that they'd likely look at it unofficially for free or possibly a very small fee. Great. Perfect. Well, I expected to find friendly people after my talk with the nice lady on the phone. But what I found was nothing of the sort. I walked in with my husband and found two ladies at the back of the store. I explained my phone conversation. Neither identified themselves. Instead one of them very gruffly told me I could get one of two types of appraisals. When I explained again what the lady on the phone said and that the item was too inexpensive to warrant an appraisal, she said she'd take it to the back and have someone look at it. She came back within ten seconds and said "the owner says it could be a topaz or a spinel", but I'd have to get an appraisal to find out. Note that all of this came with a snotty attitude. I expressed again that I had come on the advice of the lady on the phone, again because I wasn't looking to spend a quarter of the price of the item or more just to identify it. She shrugged and turned back to talk to the other lady behind the counter. DONE. Conversation over. I kid you not. She dismissed me as if I was a piece of trash that blew in off the street. Note that I was perfectly polite to her the entire time. Snobby, snobby, snobby. Rude. I would never step foot in this place again. And that's a shame because what I didn't get a chance to tell them is that we've been looking for a one carat radiant cut diamond to replace the diamond in my engagement ring, for our twentieth anniversary that's coming up in December. Always be careful who you turn up your noses at, ladies. Just because I'm needing advice on an inexpensive piece, that doesn't mean I don't have money to spend. I took a walk across the way to Franklin and was SO happy I did. I got great advice and no attitude. read more

I did find anything wonderful about my experience here. I guess if you run in wearing Nike shorts and a t-shirt you are not worth their time and can not afford them to give you the time of day. I am disgusted with their service. The man who "helped" (I had to go up to him, be ignored, have him stare at me while on the phone, then told to wait for him to get off the phone) me basically laughed my service away.
