I went today for their advertised event with a "National Buyer" coming in for a 3 day buying event…read more I took an assortment of old jewelry for a valuation and offer for them to purchase. I had received an in person offer on the exact set of pieces around 12/1/25 when spot was around $4350, and had researched and received an offer from a national buyer that set a "minimum purchase offer" that was subject to increase after they did an in person inspection which occurred on around 12/28/25 (when spot approximately $4750). The LUDICROUS offer I received today was 66.8% of the local in person offer even though spot has increased approximately $1200 per ounce. The M Robinson offer was 57% of the guaranteed minimum offer from the national company even though spot has increased approximately $900 per ounce. The offer from M Robinson was probably lower than the most disreputable shady pawn shop in town would have made. I feel truly sorry for anyone who sells their scrap or unwanted items to M Robinson. I would feel comfortable saying that sellers with almost no research or expertise in this area can get SUBSTANTIALLY HIGHER offers and payments from multiple buyers both locally and nationally! Short story? DO NOT take your items to M Robinson unless you are willing to sell your items for half or less than reputable buyers will pay you. To be fair to M Robinson Jewelry I DID NOT see the face I should have seen to know if I was in the right place. I'm glad I didn't. My comment to him would not have been kind. Shame on you for taking advantage of your neighbors and potential customers like this. In the future if I ever see your face I will know I'm in the WRONG PLACE. I'm giving 1 star because negative stars aren't available.

Then they send a sale notice 1 hour ahead of the sale start and require that you be present, give your contact info in a registration to be eligible for the sale price (even if they already have your contact info registered for another event). They're so caught up in these marketing hijinx, they're not even liquidating smartly... I tried to purchase a ring over the phone on a day it was discounted 15% off the 70% off price. I was told I would need to be there in person to get the additional 15% off (after I'd already explained I couldnt; the 1-hr notice of the sale was insufficient). So instead, they sold the ring later during their Santa grab bag whereupon the absolute minimum they discounted it was 15%, but may have been as much as 50%. What kind of sense does that make? The lady who interacted with me both times I was in the store is just not personable at all. And last, they have a parking lot with a sharp dip across the entire driveway that can damage a vehicle getting into it (as it did mine). I feel sure I'd have a better experience at just about any other jewelry store.

These were not expensive items, in fact, they were cheaply made, but they were incredibly meaningful and irreplaceable, as they were gifts from her aunt who lives in another country. From the very beginning, neither the woman who helped me nor the owner hesitated or made me feel like the job wasn't worth their time. One of the pieces, a bracelet, turned out to be especially difficult to repair, but they kept working on it until they figured out a way to fix it, and they succeeded. Seeing how happy my daughter was made it all worth it. They even apologized to me for how long it took, which was completely unnecessary, as the extra time was clearly due to the care and effort they put into finding a solution. On top of all of that, their pricing was more than fair, and they even cut me a deal! Which truly felt above and beyond and completely unexpected. The customer service was exceptional. Every interaction was friendly, kind, and down to earth. I was genuinely impressed and will be recommending Ranch Road Jewelry to anyone and everyone. I'll also be buying all of my jewelry there from now on. Just a great place all around.

To start with, I've had all my jewelry (especially some delicate chains and undersized rings) repaired at Leander Jewelry, exclusively, since I found them last spring. They have all the professional resources, tools, and equipment a reputable jeweler should have, including a machine that identifies stone and metal content for accurate valuations. I've noticed that their prices are based primarily on the metal value, with necessary markups for craftmanship and stones. So, prices are always fair, honest and transparent. And I can look up for verification on my phone in real time if I want to check for myself. Best of all, the folks who run the store are so friendly and fun. I love looking through the cases and trying on all the pieces that catch my eye. It's a family run business and they're good to their regulars.
