Leander Jewelry - Looks perfect and fits perfectly

This is the #1 independent jewelry store in our area. Unfortunately, the little white building is a…read morelittle set back from the street, and might be easy to pass by, but it's a great resource and definitely worth finding. To start with, I've had all my jewelry (especially some delicate chains and undersized rings) repaired at Leander Jewelry, exclusively, since I found them last spring. They have all the professional resources, tools, and equipment a reputable jeweler should have, including a machine that identifies stone and metal content for accurate valuations. I've noticed that their prices are based primarily on the metal value, with necessary markups for craftmanship and stones. So, prices are always fair, honest and transparent. And I can look up for verification on my phone in real time if I want to check for myself. Best of all, the folks who run the store are so friendly and fun. I love looking through the cases and trying on all the pieces that catch my eye. It's a family run business and they're good to their regulars. I suggest stopping in to check out the inventory for yourself, let them get to know your face, and you just might find yourself a family jeweler for life. PHOTO BELOW P.S. Please forgive the fluffs on the velvet. I probably should dust more, but this is a photo of one of the chains they repaired for me. You'll notice the chain is as thin as a hair so it was only able to be melted together/not re-linked. But they did a great job, as you can see.

One of the things I like about Ranch Road jewelry is they are able to do small repairs right on site. I was able to come and retrieve it the very next day. I did have a little bit of sticker shock-probably because it's been quite some time since I've had any jewelry repaired. It was a little over $100 with tax. It looked as good as the day I bought it! They also have some lovely jewelry in their display cases.

I can't say enough good things about Ranch Road Jewelry…read more I found them through a recommendation in my neighborhood Facebook group when I was looking for a jeweler willing to repair two of my daughter's pieces. These were not expensive items, in fact, they were cheaply made, but they were incredibly meaningful and irreplaceable, as they were gifts from her aunt who lives in another country. From the very beginning, neither the woman who helped me nor the owner hesitated or made me feel like the job wasn't worth their time. One of the pieces, a bracelet, turned out to be especially difficult to repair, but they kept working on it until they figured out a way to fix it, and they succeeded. Seeing how happy my daughter was made it all worth it. They even apologized to me for how long it took, which was completely unnecessary, as the extra time was clearly due to the care and effort they put into finding a solution. On top of all of that, their pricing was more than fair, and they even cut me a deal! Which truly felt above and beyond and completely unexpected. The customer service was exceptional. Every interaction was friendly, kind, and down to earth. I was genuinely impressed and will be recommending Ranch Road Jewelry to anyone and everyone. I'll also be buying all of my jewelry there from now on. Just a great place all around.

They seem to be GREAT at sales. Now try to get your money out of your "investment." They never tell you up front that the "market value" is what they sell for, not what you can get when you want to liquidate. You can always look up your current "market value" online, but that again is THEIR current ASKING price to new buyers (or if you want to buy more) for coins, or the commodities market spot price for bullion. It's not what you the individual will ever get for it. The commodities exchanges don't deal in the small quantities you are considering buying, and there isn't even any exchange for coins that they sell you at above the bullion value. So you have to find some gold buyer or coin shop to take them off your hands for whatever they will give you. These folks say they give a "buy back guarantee," but its not a guarantee to buy anything back at what you paid for it, or even the spot market value of bullion. They'll buy it back at whatever price they set, and if you don't like it you have to figure out how to sell it yourself. Good luck. My 86 yo dad got suckered into sending them six figures. He got his bullion and coins and says his sales rep is "really nice; I really like her." but now that he is facing the need for long term care, a big chunk of his money is tied up in metals and I have to figure out how to sell them to pay for his care. Zero help from these people except an offer to buy everything at WAY below the "market value" he's been lead to believe his investment was worth.
