I've been wanting to try out some macarons from this place for quiet some time. They just opened this location downtown and so the hubby decided to surprise me with some macarons since he was in the neighborhood. He mentioned that it looked like they were making them fresh on location! Bonus!! He brought home a mixture of different flavors he thought I'd enjoy. Dulce de leche & puffed quinoa, salted caramel, pistachio, brownie, cappuccino, coconut and cinnamon and vanilla. They were all amazing, and super fresh, that I seriously cannot pick a favorite, they were seriously sooooo good! Totally worth the calories ;) If you are a macaron lover, you have to add this to your list of places! I really do not think you can get any better than this in Ottawa. P.s. Two things I love: macarons (NOT to be confused with macaroons, which I can't stand) and the colour pink. Thankfully this afternoon, I stumbled upon Quelque Chose. Awesome. They have a wide assortment of macaron flavours, as well as macaron related desserts...I mean, a sundae with macarons on it? Sign me up! I decided to get a plain iced coffee and a box of 15 assorted macarons including these flavours: New m&m Lavender Pistachio Rose water Jasmin tea Pina colada (I was surprised by how good this one was) Vanilla Salted caramel Brownie Cappuccino Tiramisu Nutella Red velvet Strawberries and cream And lastly Lemon poppy seed I won't lie, I'm amazed that I had time to write the names down before inhaling the box, they were SO darn good! I wasn't super crazy about the lemon poppy seed, but that's more because I prefer chocolaty things to fruity things. If you like lemon, it's a solid choice. That being said, I was pleasantly surprised by how much I liked the pina colada! The staff member working was so patient and helpful with his recommendations, and $36 for 15 macarons was worth it for me. The atmosphere is cute, too! There is a cute wall that has "Ottawa" spelled out in macarons, but my phone died before I could snap one last picture. The solution? Stop by and see it for yourself! Yum!! read more

Such a cute place! Love the macaron wall that spells out Ottawa. I came on a weekend and it was somewhat busy. The shop itself is small with limited bar stools by the Ottawa wall. I got a hot drink, which they topped with whipped cream and a macaron. The macaron was good! The drink however was way too sweet for my liking. read more

Stopped by for a quick treat with some friends after dinner in Byward! Since I've never been here before I asked for recommendations but the staff working wasn't very helpful with selection. They have a very wide range of flavours, and we settled for the box of dozen choosing the most interesting ones. We ate most of the macarons that same night, we left a few for the next day but they got very crunchy. So I'd suggest to eat them within the same purchasing day. Overall, they had a very diverse flavour selection but nothing super memorable. The flavours aren't too overwhelming and were as expected. read more

The tea and macaron concept is very popular, and the macarons here deliver on flavor but are a little let down by texture. The storefront is very inviting, with a large display spelling "Ottawa" in macarons. I found the macarons I bought to be very well conceived and the ganache fillings to be quite flavorful, but the insides of the cookies were just a little too chewy and sticky for my taste. read more

The macaroons are incredible. We had a variety of flavors and none of them disappointed. The person who was working was very friendly. The location is small but cozy, and provides everything one could ask for. You can even charge your phone at the tables! We're in town for only a few days, but are planning on coming here again before we leave. read more
