TL;DR: Delicious fluffy decadent doughnuts in a cafe in a large shopping plaza complex. After a healthy salad lunch next door, my husband and I decided to get some doughnuts for dessert. Life is all about balance, right? Lol. I got the Pêche et Fraise (Peach and Strawberry) which is a jelly doughnut covered in powdered sugar. Doughnuts are $4.50 each. My husband got the Tour de Chapeau (which translates to Hat Trick) which is a yeast doughnut with chocolate glaze, covered with chocolate crumbs and drizzled with white chocolate. It is not a filled doughnut. We shared both doughnuts. I always prefer filled doughnuts, but I was a bit disappointed with the filling of my doughnut. It tasted like pureed peaches and strawberries true to its name, but the texture was like applesauce which wasn't yummy, at least in my opinion. I would have preferred either more of a jelly texture or a peach and strawberry-flavoured custard. So surprisingly, I enjoyed my husband's doughnut more. The Tour de Chapeau was so fluffy and soft. The chocolate toppings were sweet and decadent. The crumbs gave it a nice subtle crunch. Service was courteous. There was only one person working and customers before me ordered specialty drinks so the wait was a bit long. They also sell ice cream, in addition to doughnuts, cookies, sandwiches and coffee/tea. There's indoor seating as well as outdoor seating. They have 2 arcade machines, Ms Pac-man and Mortal Kombat. They also had some boardgames available for customers. I saw Battleship and Connect Four. ugh so good, soft pillowy donut with a good chew, icing was really smooth and well made, almond crisp was a nice addition. good amount of seating inside, and cute board game offerings with a few arcade game stalls. read more

THIS IS THE PLACE! We stumbled into this place a bit hungry but looking to kill some time. Sure enough, it turned out to be a fun and delicious choice. They had the most amazing donuts. We tried a plain vanilla and a chocolate mint glaze. We really wanted a sandwich too, but they didn't have any more in the moment we went. The other big highlight is the fact that there was plenty of seating, and games. We played a game of chess and my sons enjoyed playing some arcade games (Mortal combat and Mrs. Pac-man for free!). We thought this place is on our places to return. We will definitely come here again and try other donuts. Bathrooms were clean, and plenty of parking in the lots. D'oh! I wish I loved the doughnuts at Dough co. cause the descriptions were amazing, but unfortunately they weren't the greatest. If you love a dense doughnut then these ones might be perfect for you! They also serve David's Tea and Happy Goat Coffee here. We got the Go Joe (Mocha Biscotti) and the Big Dipper (Cookies & Milk). The doughnuts were glazed, but lacking flavour. It was just sweet and doughy. Elated that they were able to deliver to our area. We've been wanting to try them for a while, but with travel restrictions in place, it's been difficult to get out. We got a half dozen delivered, and paid with a eTransfer. In short, they are DELICIOUS, and strike a perfect balance between the yeast donuts from SuzyQ and the cake donuts from Mavericks. Fitness is a huge part of my life, so if I decide to treat myself to something it better be worth the calories. So when I say There's more to a donut than looking nice, and more than just "size", I want flavor throughout (donut and icing). Instagram and the buzz around this place opening, I was super excited for this place. So when I finally went and saw all the flavors, well of course I got a dozen donuts (pre-covid) to taste as many as possible and went home. The raised donuts are tall and the amount of "toppings" or glaze or whatever they top it with gets lost in the bland donut dough. The topping flavors didn't come through at all. We tried cutting half to two/thirds of the bottom of the donuts off to be balanced. Either add more (quantity), and more flavorful toppings or cut down the dough. What a waste. read more

Okayyyy so I had spent the night in Ottawa and as we were driving back home my girlfriend had wanted something cool to chow down on we did a quick search of what was around us and we fell into this place. Now I'm not a fan of donuts ( don't come for me ) but when I saw all the flavours they had I had to give it a go I bought a box of 12 doughnuts and had a bite of every single one. There were some really cool and unique flavours some of my top picks were the lemon, raspberry and salted caramel. They recently opened up but the line up to try these doughnuts was crazy and the staff was quick and friendly moving everyone through the line. Since we can't rewind to two months ago I also had to mention how dope their bathroom decode is ! I know you can't see it for now but do yourself a favour and get some takeaways from here and treat yourself and when things get back to " normal " take a selfie in the bathroom ;) read more
