At work, the donuts disappeared within minutes. My coworkers couldn't stop talking about them. A few even admitted they're switching allegiances from SuzyQ to Holey Confections. That's a major WIN. As for us at home... well, we've been converted for a while now. This just confirmed it all over again. From the insanely flaky layers to the unique flavours that hit every sweet spot, these donuts are on a whole other level. Once again, Holey Confections proves why they're the GOAT of donuts. If you haven't tried them yet, what are you waiting for? #HoleyConfections #OfficeWin #DonutConvert #DonutsDoneRight #SweetSuccess #OttawaEats #BestTreatsEver #140LayersOfHeaven #DonutLove #FamilyFavourite

The layers look really cool. It's more of a cronut. The donut/cronut I got wasn't cream filled, it just had a chocolate glaze with graham cracker dust sprinkled on top and a marshmallow cut in half on the top drizzled with caramel. I would have liked it more if there was a generous dollop of marshmallow fluff on top or something like that. It didn't taste particularly S'mores-like to me. I'm glad I tried it, but it's a bit too spendy for me personally. However, if you have the funds and like cronuts, I would recommend Holey Confections. Staff were friendly and efficient. The donut shop is co-located with Honey Cafe. There is seating inside and a few picnic tables out front. There are 2 parking spots in front of the shop/cafe where you can park for free in their private lot. I was lucky to snag one, but if they are occupied, it's street parking only.

Omg! The cronuts here are delicious! I had a cronut from Holey Confections for the first time at…read morethe location in Stittsville. And while it was good, it wasn't soooo delicious. It had multiple layers, but they weren't fluffy and moist like at the Orleans location. The ironic thing is that at the Stittsville location, I bought it mid-day and paid full price. The cronuts I had at the Orleans location were part of the end of day sale, yet they tasted fresher than the ones in Stittsville. So my brother heard that the Orleans location had an end of day sale where after 4:30pm they sell off the remainder of their cronuts for $25 a half dozen. The donuts are $5.80 each regularly. When he arrived at 4:30pm he found out the sale actually starts at 4pm, but it was ok because they still had donuts left. He got a PB&J (Peanut butter and jelly), Raspberry Lemon, Cinnamon Sugar (they call it Sinnerman), Sprinkles, PS no L (Pumpkin Spice no Latte) and Vanilla (they call it Anastasia, which I initially thought was strange, but I think it might be a reference to 50 Shades of Grey, which I never read nor watched but have heard more than enough about it from my friends, lol). The PB&J, Raspberry Lemon and PS no L are all cream filled. The other ones don't have any filling. I had a quarter of each of the filled ones and they were fantastic. My favourite was the Raspberry Lemon one. I loved the tart lemon curd filling. I didn't try the non-filled ones. Cronuts are part croissant and part donut and all delicious, lol. I definitely recommend this Orleans location of Holey Confections. Since my brother bought them, I can't comment on service or ambiance, but I know they are located in a strip mall and there is free parking on site. (2)

Holey Confections - I love the printing on the wax paper underneath the cronuts. Lol.

We…read moreremembered the Baskin Robbins and decided that would be our backup in case we couldn't find a different ice cream store. We walked by the Laura Secord but that place is gone and not replaced with a bubble tea shop. We recalled ice cream at the food court so as we passed by, checked what was there. The flavours weren't that interesting but they also didn't post the prices of their ice cream which usually means we can't afford it. After a bit of walking through the mall, we noticed this donut shop that sold cones. We decided to give it a try. Staff are super friendly. They asked if we wanted donuts but we declined...this time and went with the ice cream. I ordered the a swirl, half chocolate, half vanilla. They got it to me in no time. The prices weren't bad and we were walking around the mall with our ice cream. The ice cream is a bit softer than what you'd get at McDonald's. I had issues with my cone as the ice cream sat on top of the cone - no ice cream in it so a few times it almost fell off the cone. I had to eat it really carefully. All in all, not a bad spot to fill a craving. Will have to try the donuts and give this place a better, real review

This shop specializes in making fresh mini donuts and they also serve soft serve ice cream/drinks. The staff were dressed up in the cutest 50's style attire, with folded parlor hats and aprons. Service was friendly and prices were super reasonable with basically all the drinks and ice cream being $4.00. I ordered the iced cap, frozen blue drink, a dozen cinnamon sugar mini donuts. You can also add sprinkles/dipping sauces to your mini donuts too! They also had plain mini donuts and powdered sugar. There were a couple of stools inside the restaurant and a cute donut shaped chair. Its a cute place. The donuts were amazing and the kids had a great time.

In conjunction with Cheshire Cat Pub, you definitely need to try the Sticky Toffee Pudding flavour which has big chunks of the sponge cake pairing well with the butterscotch based ice cream! In addition, the coconut ice cream is always very refreshing with fresh coconut shavings adding a nice palate cleanser! I can't wait to go back soon!

My hubby got the strawberry shortcake and said it was good, but he wasn't sure why people would go crazy about the ice cream here. It was heaven. When we got there, there was no lineup! so we ordered right away. When we left, there were about 15 people in line. Seating outside. Not wheelchair accessible or stroller accessible for ordering. It would be great if they built a ramp.
