Latte and coffee are a nice change from the mass corporate chain locations as they make it fresh to order. The salad was so fresh and tasty that I would eat more salad if they all tasted as good as this one. Pizzas look great and the apple crumble was warm and tasty. Looks like it's a local place to gather and they have a community hall attached where it looks like some bands play music and their is a dance floor. Quaint little cafe and "Neat" place to visit.

Located in the heart of this charming small Ontario town, Scoops is a simple walk-up ice cream stand with outdoor seating that perfectly fits the laid-back atmosphere of Pakenham. There isn't any indoor seating, but on a nice day that's part of the experience. The menu offers a variety of hard ice cream flavors along with soft serve, milkshakes, floats, and other frozen treats. Over the years, some flavors have come and gone, but a few of my current favorites are Moose Tracks, Heavenly Hash, and Maple Walnut. I was also thrilled to see that they now offer gluten-free cones, which made the experience even better for me. One of my family members never passes up the chocolate-dipped waffle cones. The homemade waffle cones are a standout and fill the area with that irresistible fresh waffle cone aroma. Scoops is also incredibly dog-friendly. One of my favorite memories is stopping here with our chocolate Lab and treating him to one of their doggy cones--a small cone topped with vanilla soft serve. It's such a simple but thoughtful touch that always makes me smile. Parking can be a little challenging during peak summer hours. There are a few street parking spots right in front of the shop, but if those are full, you can usually find parking elsewhere in town within a short walking distance. Even when the line gets long, the staff does a great job keeping things moving, and we've always found them to be friendly and attentive. Between the small-town charm, delicious ice cream, homemade waffle cones, and years of family memories, Scoops has become much more than just an ice cream stop for us. It's a tradition, and one that I hope continues for many years to come.

I ordered a hot fudge Sundae, no nuts and no cherry (please) with hard ice cream. An older gentleman was serving. He made a joke, "no whipped cream too?". I laughed an said "lots of whipped cream please". He then proceeded to make a sundae with alot of nuts. I gently reminded him for no nuts. He then hands me a sundae with virtually no fudge and with a cherry. I request more fudge and no cherry. Pictured is the final product. This constitues a hot fudge sundae at Scoops There were 6 others with me. atleast two complained of stale cones and the chocolate "tasted off". The 10-year old in the group was disappointed with her cone. It's hard to make a 10 year old not like an ice cream cone. This isn't the first time we've had issues with this place. I thought it was a fluke or a bad day for the server. Tonight confirmed that it's not a fluke. Needless to say, the boating tradition is broken. We won't be back, after years of loyal service

You can buy it whole, or they can slice it for you if you prefer it that way. Great for sandwiches or just eating as a slab slathered in butter and nice aged cheddar. Can you tell I love this bread? I always make a point of stopping in here when in Almonte to get this loaf. They also have a nice pastry section which has a constant stream of people picking things up. And a great candy selection too, which some items you don't see around too often. With a small seating area it's a nice stop for a coffee. Décor is functional and the place is clean. They serve sandwiches as well, but I've not tried them, so no comment on that. This is a great local business in Almonte. Would I return: Yes Would I recommend: Yes. Even if all you want is a loaf of bread, it is worth a stop.
