My husband and I stopped by 3 Sisters Bakeshop today for a little bite to eat. We loved it! I was really looking forward to trying their beef panini, but unfortunately since we arrived 1 hour before closing they were all sold out. So we both got their chicken panini ($5.95). The chicken panini contained real chicken breast (not deli meat), tomatoes, arugula, cheddar cheese and cranberry sauce. It was really delicious. The bread was crusty on the outside and had a good amount of chew on the inside. It was a substantial sandwich. I could barely finish it. Ingredients used were fresh and the flavours blended well together. Before we left I noticed that they had macarons ($1.95 each)! So I had to try one. I got the pistachio one. I ate it before I could take a picture (sorry), but it was really pretty and very delicious. The macaron pastry itself was great, nice and chewy on the inside with a slight crunch on the outside. It was definitely fresh, not stale like at some places. The filling was a little too translucent and too "caramely" and not "creamy" enough in my opinion, but other than that it was great. I would still get them again. Overall, 3 Sisters Bakeshop is a cute little place with shabby chic decor and a homey feel. It's in a plaza with a TD bank, a small Middle Eastern grocery store, and some other stores. There's a small parking lot with free parking.

Great place to come sit and eat food. Free parking outside, food and coffee is great. The pricing of everything isn't bad at all. Food tasted great and was fresh. The owner is very friendly and cool to chat with.

First time coming here. I tried many times before but the time was not updated and whenever I would try to go in it would be closed. Now that I know their schedule I will go more often and bring my friends there too. The staff is friendly , they currently have a patio open which is nice due to covid and after corona maybe they will allow indoor seating again. It is a nice bakery in Ottawa south that also offers gluten free items .

A hidden gem in Alta Vista! If you live in this area, you will soon realize that there are not very many small businesses or family owned restaurants. I walk past this place a few times and made a mental note to check it out. When I finally had a chance to try it, I soon became addicted, everything is delicious! Try their lunch sandwiches, they are to die for. They use the local Art-is-in. bread to make their sandwiches. They also have an amazing selection of desserts. I have to say every time I've tried something different it's always been delicious. I love their brownies and Keylime tart. I have to admit that sometimes when it gets busy they don't seem incredibly organized on the other side of the counter. It has gotten better over time. It looks like they are just getting used to serving a larger customer base. If you're in the area, it's a must!

Amazing treats, amazing coffees (including a variety of milks to use) and great, friendly staff! One of my favourite hidden gems in Ottawa :)

Great place to meet a friend for a cup of coffee and a nice pastry.

Ended up getting the pistachio and Dubai chocolate croissant. As for the drinks, we got the matcha and the Hojicha with espresso shots. They serve coffee from Hatch (which is probably one of my favourite back in Toronto). Unfortunately, we didn't get to try the croissants fresh but they were still tasted buttery and flakey. The flavour and sweetness was the right amount (perfect for my Asian tastebuds). The drinks were also really good! It was pretty busy inside but there's plenty of seating (might not be great if you want to chill and study but great for hanging out with friends). Service was good, staff is friendly and our order was made fairly quickly. I would come back and try other things on their menu if I'm ever around the area.

Plus, their croissants are big in size and are great for sharing. Their place is beautifully decorated with lots of seating. The workers were kind and friendly. We ordered the Croissant au Pistachio Rose and the Dubai Chocolate Croissant. Both had the perfect amount of flakiness and softness. The Dubai Chocolate was decadent while the Pistachio Rose was nutty with a delicate taste of floral.

I was in the mood for a Sfogliatella (lobster tail pastry), so my husband and I went to Little Italy to get one. Pasticceria Gelateria Italiana has been around since 1979, but I had never been there before. They had a large selection of desserts and gelato. We took our pastry to-go, but they have some seating both indoors and on their raised front patio and street-level side patio. The Sfogliatella was $7.49 which is the most I've ever paid for this pastry. Fortunately, it was delicious. Very crispy and flakey on the outside and softer on the inside with a generous amount of cream. I prefer the ricotta cheese filling slightly more, but I like the cream filling too. It was light and airy and not too sweet. Service was efficient and pleasant. The shop has a one way flow, you enter one door and you follow the arrows and exit a different door. The area to wait for service is narrow, so this process prevents congestion and crowding. I like it. Great for the occasional treat, but a bit too spendy for me. (77)

This street has a number of good joints however this was a pleasent surprise to me . They have a wide range of home made chocolate bars , puff pastries , pastries , croissants , cannolis , crème Brûlée and filled donuts . Without wasting much time the good and the anti good . I wouldn't use a term bad as this place is a blessing for Ottawa The good 1. Variety : it's not overwhelming , just enough amount of truffles and breads to satiate your sugar and buttery starch craving .if you are into chocolate you are in for a treat 2. Ice creams : surprisingly three of my friends got icecream a and they were soooo good . So it's consistent 3. Service : quick efficient and nice 4. Patio : cute little patio they also have tables on the side Anti good 1. Coffee - well they are not a coffee shop so it adds up .'illl spend money on coffee on an extra cannoli 2. Eclairs : we have a lot better in Ottawa in Preston and bank Standout dish : pistachio crème brûlée - gave me an orgasm
