A tiny pharmacy located on the first floor of Queens POB 1. You won't miss this tiny pharmacy on the way to Doctor's office or the parking lot. TIP: stop here to fill your prescriptions for one hour free validation. This helped decreased my parking fee during my last visit to Queens, When I had to take my mom to the dr. we were there close to 4 hours. Since my mom prefers going to Longs, this prescription was a controlled substance and the Dr.'s office couldn't call rx in. This pharmacy is very convenient, I stopped here on my way out, took her prescriptions to the pharmacy, waited only 10 minutes and we were done. This stop saved me lots of time & money. Not only was it convenient but the staff are nice and friendly as well. During my 10 minutes wait, I just browsed around the pharmacy and noticed, they do have lots of stuff, the items are kind of higher in prices than at another drug store but for convenience, must as well get what you need here. They have 3 aisle full of drug items, over the counter, even chips, candies, magazines, & beverage items. Another 2 items, I noticed that caught my eyes, they have Joy's cookies for only 3.89, cheaper than what I purchased them for & mini York peppermint patties for 10 cents near the cash register. There are about 5 chairs, for you to sit and wait, but not for long, just 10 minutes.!! Next time you are at Queens POB 1, stop by the Pharmacy. I totally recommend it.

The staff here are very friendly and helpful. They often have clipped coupons stuck on the shelf next to the items the coupon applies to.

I messaged the pharmacy and they confirmed that their Nu'uanu location will continue to be open, though only on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays. Their Waipahu location has free shipping and delivery (tip is recommended for delivery) but I haven't used those services yet. I would just drive to the Ala Moana location because it's not too far, plus it's a good excuse to stop by Mari's Urban Garden haha. Free parking in the structure (ask the pharmacist to validate for you) and the service is always friendly, quick, and helpful. They use RxLocal, which is an online portal and mobile app that you can use to check pharmacy hours, message with the pharmacy, refill your prescriptions, and set medication reminders. I had so many horrible experiences with CVS/Walgreens on the mainland and eventually switched to a small, family-owned pharmacy and the experience was night and day. I knew that when I moved back home to Hawai'i, I wanted to continue to use a small, local pharmacy. I was glad to find 5 Minute Pharmacy and have been very satisfied with their service, especially as someone that takes various controlled medications and has a generally more complicated process with refills and prior authorizations.

Let me tell you the reasons! Mostly because they respect doctors and don't make it hard to get what my doctor prescribed. They stay current on laws and are knowledgeable. They are FAST! Maybe not literally 5 mins, but pretty close most of the time. They'll even deliver! The waiting area has comfy seats. The people that work there are so nice. You can tell they care. Parking isn't a hassle. The parking garage is free so you don't have to battle for street parking. If you do park on the street, keep your eye on your meter, because the cops give tickets out all the time. I see parking enforcement nearly everytime I'm there.

As my car is not feeling the greatest I needed a location that was closest to the Queens Island Urgent Care in Kaka'ako to pick up a prescription and since this was right down the street I keep the stress level down for myself as well. Located prominently on Ward Ave parking entrance is on Halekauwila Street which is free and with lots of covered stalls available that has an elevator that will take you down and directly into the store. With this being the newly opened location it's very nice and clean and not as crazy crowded like the malls is nice and with basically no lines it was an easy pick up and the staff is very nice and friendly as I arrived basically right after my check up knowing it wouldn't be ready that fast was actually being worked on which is so nice as having them will give me great comfort and that's I'm so grateful. Thank you!

They have a photo department that does passport photos also. I came by and picked up a Pokemon card and Haagen-Dazs ice cream for someone.

The last one, only one, maybe they just put out one at a time. Brought it up to the counter, and the clerk was friendly. After coming out, I didn't realize there was a Petco. No wonder the Walgreens was small. It's a good store to come to.

My child is medically fragile and relies on enteral formula, syringes, extension sets, and a G-tube device for daily survival. These are not items that can be purchased at a store, and timely, predictable delivery is medically necessary. On multiple occasions, scheduled deliveries were either missed or significantly delayed without any communication from the company. In the most recent incident, a delivery requiring a signature was scheduled within an 8 a.m.-5 p.m. window. A caregiver stayed home all day, yet no delivery occurred and no call was made to notify us of the delay. The delivery ultimately arrived close to 11 p.m., which created safety concerns for both the driver and our household and disrupted a medically fragile child who is seizure-prone. While we were relieved that the supplies were eventually delivered, the lack of communication, follow-up, and explanation was concerning. When deliveries involve life-sustaining nutrition or medical devices, "eventually delivered" is not sufficient. Late-night deliveries, missed windows, and absent courtesy calls pose real risks--especially for families caring for children with special needs, elderly patients, or individuals dependent on oxygen or other medical equipment. Over the years, there have also been recurring issues with inaccurate patient information, lack of follow-up on backordered items despite promised callbacks, and inconsistent communication from both office staff and delivery services. I want to be clear that my intent in sharing this is not to single out individual employees, but to highlight systemic issues that I hope leadership will address. Improved communication, accurate patient records, proactive notifications about delays or backorders, and clear delivery time boundaries would significantly improve safety and trust for patients and caregivers. I am sharing this so other families and caregivers are aware, and in hopes that PharmaCare will continue working toward the level of reliability that medically dependent patients truly need and deserve.
