After going to various places for Brazilian waxes I figured they were all the same. You know that painful grit your teeth for about 20 minutes type of process. Not at Skye Rose. Let me tell you this process was so painless. I've never had a Brazilian wax that didn't hurt. She uses this chocolate wax...amazing for the skin. I mean of course there is a slight sting and I do mean slight like a nano second but my skin wasn't sore and I wasn't gritting my teeth like I had done with past experiences. Skye is amazing and literally the best. One of my best friends recommended her to me after I kept complaining about constantly having to shave and boils on my inner thighs from ingrown hairs. I started to go to her over a year ago when she was at a different location. She makes you feel comfortable while she's doing it. I was nervous at first but honestly the pain isn't that bad, definitely bearable if you have gotten a tattoo or piercing in cartilage. The best part about waxing with this business is that my boil issue - BASICALLY NONEXISTENT AS OF TODAY!!! Skye is meticulous and makes sure that the hairs that broke off are gone by the time you are done. No matter where the wax is on your body. She has convenient times - I do recommend booking earlier rather than later online though. I had first found Skye via a Groupon deal. I had never gotten a wax before and was pretty nervous. Skye immediately makes you feel comfortable in not the most comfortable of situations. After using my two waxes via my Groupon, I had to buy her package of 5. I don't think I will ever be needing to find services elsewhere. Skye makes you feel at ease and does a great job of making the wax as painless as possible. The wax she uses doesn't irritate the skin. Once you leave the chair, you won't even initially remember you just got a wax. It's pain free afterwards. One big plus is that she truly remembers each of her clients. With a few months in-between my appointments, she has the ability to remember what we were talking about the last time. Huge kudos to her on that. I highly, highly recommend Skye. read more

The Staff in general was phenomenal & they greeted me with open arms. I had my second brazilian wax at Skye Rose and just as fabulous as the first! At other places, I have had some really low pain waxings that only lasted a week and some that were super painful but lasted 6 weeks. I find Skye does the best job of blending lower pain waxing (don't think it's going to be pain free!) with a waxing that will last. Very precise, clean and quick. She uses this wax that has a cocoa bean base and its AMAZING ( it gets ALL the hairs); the waxing process was barely painful in my personal opinion and I'm fairly new to Brazilian waxes.
