Went to queens nail today. Been going there for an over a year and not once I walked out upset till today. The girl that usually does my nails it's on vacation so I booked with the owner as I trusted they know best or next to best how to do nails. That was not the case to say I am fully disappointed it's underestimated! I must of showed the owner 10 times photo of my own hand and nails done by their staff before I was very specific on the shape and style. The owner was too busy watching a show on his phone while doing my nails that the shape turn nothing as I requested . When I voiced my concern and said you will give me the shape I was showing you right!? He said oh it's hard now as acrylic was on as if that's my fault I said I showed you my photo over and over from the beginning that I walked in. He not only messed up the nails the way he done them they look as if they had a full week full growth on. I walked in for full set I walked out with my nails showing not covered by acrylic and nail polish. As frustrating as this was it was time to do my toes. I got bunch on skin nipped on to bleeding point now causing me swelling and pain which now I have to medicated. Voiced my concerns to owner and still got charged full price not only that I pay for a year in cash so they give discount well today because I was upset even paying in cash I did not even get the discount I usually get. Will not be a returning client sadly I am fair but 110$ for that and no respond to me showing and voicing these issues will not have me as a returning client. Went yesterday to get my acrylic nails taken off. The lady did it in 15 minutes by cutting and drilling the acrylic off. She told me to go wash my hands then when I sat down told me "no time for paint were done" and there was plenty of time for polish. Let's just start to say that I go often to get pedicures. Today at 10am I called to make an appointment for 1pm with Little Linda and Katie. Well, I walk in at 12:50pm because I don't like to be late for my appointments. Little Linda is almost done with her customer and Katie is still working on a customer. Lee the owner of Queen nails was courteous enough to get my pedicure and my daughter's pedicure station ready while we waited. It is 1:15 and Little Linda gets started on my daughter and I am still waiting on Katie. She was taking her sweet time taking care of her customer as if she didn't have a scheduled appointment with me. So I had to speak up; now I am getting annoyed. So in their language they rudely speak to one another and they are calling for Yvonne. Well, Yvonne decided to be dumb and stupid as if she wasn't being told to please take care of me. She flat out refused and ignored what she was being asked. Now, mind you there is no one at the salon. It is a Friday at 1pm. Students are at school and women are working. The end result was once Yvonne decided that she would do my feet because Lee's customer had walked in I told her No! That she was not going to do my feet especially that she refused from the beginning of this mess. Lee finished my pedicure, unfortunately her customer is now waiting and giving me looks! You would think being a paying customer and having to be aggravated by to employees the the owner (Lee) wouldn't have charged me, BUT SHE DID!! I will never ever go back there again! This is not the first time that I had received poor customer service from Queen Nails. I paid my $50.00 dollars, and being the lady that I am; gave her a tip for her service and I left. I know I wrote a review about this place and it must have been deleted! I'm going to repost again because it's fair for people to know about the poor quality customer service given at this location. You will not be treated like a queen, for one! Once you first walk-in you will smell fumes. Terrible, terrible fumes of perhaps poor quality polishes. My first and last experience here, I walked in with my husband in the middle of the week in the middle of the afternoon. We desperately needed our nails done however and figured to give a chance. They had only one other person being serviced and 5 technicians. We walked in and not one of them jumped to attend to us or ask what we wanted. Next, they just talked and talked and talked to each other while the pedicure tubs filled like they didnt have any customers. Talked and talked and talked and then finally, some mediocre pedicure, smelling fumes the whole time, and the most inattentive staff ever. No massage, no spa treatment. Nothing. It's really a hit or miss with this place they will usually do a good job but on occasion I'll be disappointed. I get my nails done monthly and the shape usually comes out perfect but for like young teenage designs they kinda suck. I asked for a broken heart and it looked like the woman painted a vagina on my nails. She then proceeded to show other technicians and they laughed. I just got Matte Nails and they were so streaky and milky colored I had to go to another salon just to put a clear coat on them. They also have no holographic or chrome powder. They are pretty damn expensive and they kinda just make up prices, because the board that has the prices listed is never used. All in all are the best salon I've been to around mount olive but I wish they could do better. read more

Not only did he not let me have the polish color I picked, straight up said no, he used the drill on my very natural not polished nail bed. Didnt even push my cuticles back had me wash my hands and that was it. No lotion or even top coat. The one tip he put on is uneven and slanted. I love queen nails i've gone here about 10 times and my nails always last for maybe 3 weeks or longer. The only bad experience I have had is with this one nail tech. Not just myself but about 6 or 7 other people can agree. Every time she does someone's nails she applies the wrong color (which was done to me) and she does a bad job at shaping and will give you cuts and make you bleed!! Yesterday was my first time visiting Queen Nails and I am truly delighted with the customer service and the quality of service I received. It was busy at the time I went and that signified that this is a popular place so the work must be good. I went with my boyfriend and once inside I took a seat and was immediately greeted by the staff. We did pedicures first and the young man who did mine did an amazing job, not one complaint (my feet were in terrible shape lol). After my pedicure another young man by the name of Nick called me over to do my gel full set. Nick by far is the most amazing nail technician I've ever experienced. He has a nice personality and his work is phenomenal. I wanted long coffin nails and he shaped them perfectly. Overall the entire staff was friendly, the environment was nice and clean and Queen Nails seems to be a loved place. I highly recommend this place! I have gotten regular manicures, gel manicures, and regular pedicures here and have been pleased. Never again. Let's just start from my first impression. One woman, who I didn't realize even worked there, because she was sitting on one of the pedicure chairs and watching her iPad. When she looked over and saw me she said, "What do you want?" Lovely. I asked for a gel manicure and was called over by a man to sit by him. I sat and exchanged a few pleasantries with him about the show on the television near us. He asked if I wanted my nails cut and I asked only for a file to keep the length. So he filed, and the cut my cuticles. Then he filed, and cut my cuticles AGAIN. He knicked my skin so hard I'm surprised I didn't bleed. He mumbled an apology and kept filing, my long nails a thing of the past. One of the nails he filed was longer on one side and I asked if he could make it even. He didn't look at what I was showing him and said, 'OK, I'll round it then.' When I said it again, thinking he misheard me, he just said, 'Yea, yea.' After watching the woman with the iPad fall asleep in the chair and a woman in the back slurping her lunch, I stupidly thought it would be a good idea if asked for a design on my ring finger. He provided a lopsided design and rushed me out of the chair. He 'massaged' my hands for no more than 5 seconds before he asked me to wash my hands. As I washed my hands, he was already moving my things so another person, a regular from my understanding, could sit in the chair. I will never go back as it is clear they do not put the same care and attention into every customer that walks into the building. People should not be eating/sleeping where customers can see and pay more attention to the television rather than the customer right in front of them. The place is clean, and I'm sure if you're a regular they'll treat you right, but walk ins beware! read more

My friend and I went in to get new acrylics and both of us went through an extremely painful process. I have gotten acrylics plenty of times and have never felt the pain I felt during this appt. I had an older lady who had no regard for my comfort. She saw the pain in my face and from my sharp movements but that did not stop her from literally digging under my real nail and destroying the skin around my nail. My friend had a similar experience except her lady was also impatient and obviously aggravated towards her. Plus- my friend asked for simple french nails and they were chunky and not proportional, she had to get them redone the next day at a different salon; my nails were sloppy and uneven with nails literally going sideways. Don't understand the good reviews of this place. If you want a very quick gel manicure with no frills, this place is for you. They use the Dremil on your nail bed to remove gel polish after having you stick your fingertips in a jar of pure acetone that every customer before you has used. Very little attention to detail, not to mention the tools used were not kept sanitized. They seem to want you in and out in record time. They are about $5 less expensive than most places, but so not worth the savings. I will not be back, and would not recommend to anyone. High 'ick' factor. Once and done. I'll keep looking. read more

If you want to be verbally abused and treated like trash, then this is the nail salon for you! Today was my last visit there. Most of the nail technicians there are wonderful and friendly people but the OWNER/ manager of all people is the RUDEST and most UNPROFESSIONAL business owner I have EVER encountered. My day started with calling them at 10 am to make an appointment with Tony who is FABULOUS. He doesn't talk a lot but that's fine by me. His work is great! No one would answer the phone and I tried three times between 10 and 11 am. So.... I figured I would just drive there and see if Tony was available. He was not so I gladly accepted anyone who was available. The woman whom I believe was the owner/ manager asked me what I wanted and I told her " just a fill". She put me in one chair and then a few minutes later changed her mind and pointed me to sit in another chair. She then sat down in front of me and started to prepare my nails. I asked if she could cut my cuticles because they were getting scraggly. She said " no. That's a manicure. YOU are getting a fill". Okay....... I pointed at the natural color fill I usually get ( and WANTED) and she said " No, you get this" and pointed at the pink powder which I have known from past experiences that I DID NOT want. It was TOO pink. I explained very nicely to her that I had the natural color on and she INSISTED I had a pink and that's what she was going to apply. I then said " if you could just apply the natural color that will be good" She then began YELLING at me in the salon " I CAN SEE WHAT YOU HAVE! YOU HAVE PINK! SEE! SEE! I KNOW WHAT YOU HAVE!!!!!!!" She was pulling hard on my fingers and flinging them. The patrons and other technicians stopped mid conversations to see her yell. I was shocked at her behavior and I'm sure they were also. I again asked her very politely and calmly to just do the natural color. She began applying the natural color and anyone could see it was a perfect match. She was wrong and treated me poorly to boot! She continued to file furiously and fast and kept flinging each finger. I actually paid her a compliment mid file because I felt maybe something awful happened to her this morning and she needed a kind word. I told her I liked her jumpsuit she was wearing but she didn't even acknowledge me or look up. She would just bark monosyllables commands at me while flinging fingers here and there. In 15 min ( record breaking time) she was done with my fill and walked away telling me $25 So... I paid the bill and the thought for one second to NOT give her a tip. How could I reward her for treating me like garbage and yelling at me? Then again, if I walked away without tipping her it would be a poor reflection of my manners. So I begrudgingly opened up my wallet and bypassed the $10 ... bypassed the $5 .... and settled on one pretty little one dollar bill. I plunked it down in front of her and walked out smiling. I would not recommend this place. I went with a friend, and I was very unsatisfied with how my nails came out. I got an acrylic full set--one of my tips came out crooked, the tech (not sure of the name) cut my nails way too short underneath, and spent very little time actually painting them. He also repeatedly kept looking up to watch the TV while filing my nails. I got cut twice by the electric filer. I mentioned it to him and he either pretended not to hear me or didn't care. When he put lotion on my cuticles, it burned. I mentioned this as well and again got no response. The polish job was rushed and he only did one coat, and the color turned out spotty. He ended up charging the full $40 for a full set even though I mentioned all of this to him--the crooked tip (which he said would cost more to fix), the spotty polish, and the fact that I was cut twice. I at least expected these issues to be addressed. I will not be going back. read more
