    Cocktail with pedicure
    Lindsay F.

There's a bar here! Like a legit bar! With cocktails! It's a whole party! Made an appointment for 11AM on a Sunday bc I was told that is when they opened but when I walked in, the party was already going with multiple people already started. Got gel manicure and regular pedicure and my nails look great! 1 1/2 weeks out and still shining. Best manicure I've had in a long time. Will def be back the next time I'm in Fort Wayne.

Fungus two weeks after home treatment
    Lotoqua W.

I have been a loyal customer for years so it saddens me to review this business. I ended up with a fungus and went back so the wrong could be righted. From a customer it wasn't the affected nail wasn't treated and I paid full price for a dip that was to be better than my normal acrylic tips. I got the dip on Saturday and I wasn't satisfied but o well. Sunday evening these nails were chipping and lifting, I went back to the salon on Monday it was closed( holiday) I go back Tuesday and still had to pay for another set of nails. I will no longer support this business when a customers safety and satisfaction are not a priority and I have to pay for all of the mistakes made. The money being made should make shortcuts unacceptable on any level.

    design I wanted

I went to queen nails on a whim looking to get a gel manicure. While they didn't do all the manicure items that I'm used to at salons in my hometown (soak in water, wash your hands, wax dip, fill hand massage) It was still good! I walked in and was taken immediately and she did my cuticles, filed and shaped my natural nails and gave a short half hand massage at the very end. I asked her to do a design and it turned out great! It was my first time and I'm not sure if I had to ask for a deluxe or something else. The price on their website for a gel manicure was $25, I paid $45 plus tip. I'm not sure if the prices changed and they haven't updated the website or if it was more because I got a design, but I was satisfied!

Half painted toes from my $45 deluxe pedi from Queen nails..RIP off

I have given this place too many chances. No more! I spent $45 on a deluxe pedi and I get home and some of my toes are only half polished. I went back the next day and the owner didn't even acknowledge me. I was asked repeatedly if I had it done there! I pointed at the woman who did my feet. Finally another tech half assed painted over my bad toes and walked away. No sorry..we will redo all or anything. I was furious because I have had issues everytime but gave chances. Never again is that woman getting my hard earned money. She's phony and the place is a pit!

Horrible! I went in for a full set of nails. The man that was assigned to me was awful! His handling of my fingers when putting the nails on was painful! He gripped my thumb so hard that it turned purple and red and I had to pull away. The right hand and left hand nails look completely different. The worst!!!!!!

    Cutting into my finger

I've been here three times now, the first two were fine no complaints but nothing too great, but this last time was a disaster. I went in for an acrylic fill and was told I'd actually need to get a whole new set, which is fine. The nail tech then proceeded to not soak my nails in anything and instead just 'pop off' the old acrylic with a separate nail, completely destroying my nail. She then went to apply new acrylic which came out so thick, missed parts of my nail, and on other fingers is cutting into my finger and actually causing blood. There was no cuticle care at all which is exceedingly obvious when you see my nails. She didn't let the paint dry between hands before applying the next coat so the polish is splotchy on some fingers. All of this for $60? My fingers actually hurt. I have had better results from glue on nails at target. I will not be going back, completely ridiculous.

After that, she just worked on my body and let me blissfully zone out. Later, I found out that Iliana is the massage therapist that lots of people request, so if you want a wonderful massage, this is the woman to seek out. The only thing I would have changed: I wish she worked on my glutes a little more! I probably should have told her to go for it, but I was too busy being in that peaceful, liminal space that a great massage puts you in, so I just let it go. In general, I feel like Woodhouse Spa is visited by people who don't get massages regularly, or at all, so perhaps the massage therapists focus more on neutral areas, like the back, neck, legs and arms. Which is fine and understandable. But I've been getting regular massages for a long time, so to me, glutes are a must. I'm fortunate to have a transcendental, all-of-the-superlatives massage therapist who I see regularly, but if I were to visit Woodhouse Spa on a regular basis and see Iliana, I would definitely make it a point to tell her: "Andale pues!" One of the reasons you visit a Woodhouse Spa location is for the facilities. This is a place where you spend at least an hour or two luxuriating under the waterfall showers, contemplating life in the wet and dry sauna, and hanging out in the dark sitting room with a glass of wine or cucumber-infused water. Unfortunately, I didn't get to do any of those fun and relaxing things because I had a busy agenda that day; I barely had time to drink a glass of water in the waiting room before my massage, and then I had to split shortly after. But for everyone else: Do yourself a favor and block off a chunk of time to just spend time futzing around the spa area. It's a nice spa, and you will enjoy yourself if you give yourself enough time.
