Horrible experience! Technician did not listen to what I wanted. I ended up with a pedicure rather than a manicure. I reminded her several times that I wanted color only on my toes. AVOID!!!! I got fingernail infection. Helen did my manicure. The worst experience ever.

I have gone here several times . Staff isn't friendly but today they were just plain rude. It was very hot inside and lied and said the AC was broken. It was on the day before. They begrudgingly opened the door for fresh air when I politely persisted. They were very annoyed with me for not paying cash. I paid for two pedicures and the woman finally took my credit card said never come here with a card payment over $60. She kept asking me to pay in cash which I didn't have. My issue is how rude and unpleasant she was towards me. I have always liked Helen who does a great job and is kind. But I won't go back there for the nasty comments and treatment by others. read more

I have gotten my nails done there for the past year. I've never been so happy with a salon. Haley does my nails and they look beautiful every time. And a sidenote, I've never been hurt there while having my nails done they don't trim too much or do too much. It's just the right amount. read more

The best manicure ever! The level of detail and quality of the manicure is superb. After almost one month my manicure has not chipped or cracked. If not for the fact that my nails have grown out, I would not need them redone. I highly recommend using them. read more

I went to get my nails done there the other day and I got gel. It chipped yesterday which never happens to me, so I went back and asked if they could redo the 2 nails that chipped and they did it for free and did a perfect job! I would recommend this place to anyone! Thank you Tammy! read more

I've come here for years--though I'm not a weekly customer--and the technicians have become increasingly more rude and disrespectful, talking about customers right in front of them. It's very convenient , especially if you live in Auburndale, but they don't greet you politely when you come in, don't say goodbye when you leave. I smudged a nail because my tech didn't carry my personal items from the polish table to the drying station (first time that's ever happened to me anywhere!) and then she was annoyed to have to redo the nail. Aside from the rudeness, my manicure was poor quality at best. It chipped within a day. With all the competition in the area, I will certainly go elsewhere next time! read more

I have been living in the same neighborhood as Queen Nails for the past eight years and have frequented the salon A LOT. I have noticed, however, the quality of their services has been on the decline. First, they thin out their polish WAY too much. They only do two coats of color and oftentimes I can still see really thin spots to the point where I have to ask for a third coat simply so it doesn't look like I did it myself. Second, they no longer provide finishing spray at the drying station. Third, the bulbs in the drying machines are not changed out often after they're blown out. It seems as long as one of the two bulbs is working that's good enough for them. I imagine the last two points I've made are simply to save them money and increase their profits. Fourth, the past few times that I asked for a mani-pedi, they started in on my pedi and then someone stood over me and did my mani at the same time. I HATE that. I get my nails done as a way to relax and pamper myself. I want to sit and read a book and enjoy myself, not be pulled in a million directions. Fifth, they recently raised their mani price to $14 (up from $12) and a while back they eliminated the $2 discount when you get a mani & pedi in the same visit. So as their prices rise they seem to be cutting more and more corners and leaving their customers with a lesser quality experience. I do still go there from time to time but only when time is an issue (since its close to my house). My choice now is Le's Nails on Moody Street in Waltham (love them!) read more

I would give zero if I could. Great location but absolutely horrible customer service. The nail technicians are extremely disrespectful. Demanding we pay cash or Venmo (ridiculous). They talk about their clients right in front of them. Polishes are watered down. Pedicure tubs are unhygienic. They don't have the manners to say hi or bye to their clients. read more

Bad service. I called in for an appointment for a french manicure and pedicure. When I got there, I told the man that, aand he said okay, but did the wrong thing. When I was put down to dry, I asked someone else, and she said he doesn't know how to do that and I should have done something. I said I did. she offered to do my finger nails again, but not my toenails. Still charged me full price of 50 dollars. Got my brows and lip done as well, that was 17, but they did a good job there. Way way w a y too expensive, especially for something with a college nearby. read more

Not sure why this is listed under Queen Nailss...an extra 'S' for 'sssatisfactory'? I think Queen Nailssss deserves better than one sad little one-star review. I've been three times now and have had a decent mani/pedi each time. On one visit, there was a diva getting a French pedicure that wasn't going to her liking, and the employee redid it THREE times and didn't complain. Hella patient. Other than that, it's relatively clean, relatively uncrowded, and pretty much what you would expect from a run of the mill nail salon. Sure, it's not the Ritz, but it's a convenient neighborhood nail place. Only brow and lip waxing, FYI. read more

I'm only giving two stars because Queen Nailss is close to my house and they were able to fit me in on a Saturday in the late afternoon. They won't have to ever, ever fit me in again. All I wanted was a regular manicure, just file the nails to even them off and put on the layers of polish. No gel, no powder, didn't even need to file the nails down much - although they did file them quite short, which I asked them not to do. Put the polish on, yada, yada, yada. Asked the woman who was doing my nails how much it cost, since this is not the regular nail place I go to, but I needed a manicure for the next morning and my salon couldn't fit me in. She said "For you, nineteen dollars". Okay, seemed a little expensive to me, but I get gel. Paid her the $19 and gave her a $5 tip. After 10 minutes of drying, she told me I was all set. Within a half hour after that my left thumb was ruined. I have no idea how, and I accept responsibility for it, but if you tell me it's okay to use my hands again, then I take you at your word. Had to go to CVS, get polish remover and the closest color polish I could find and repaint the nail. By the next afternoon, having done nothing but carry my chair to the beach, all of the tops of the nails had started to peel. So I went to the website only to find that a manicure is listed as being $12 (I understand it's now $14), nowhere close to the $19 I was charged. Maybe because I was a walk-in, who will forever be a walk-by, I was an easy target. I have serious concerns about the sanitariness of this place. I've never liked their practice of throwing tools in a mini-sanitizer on top of each other at each station. I noticed bits of skin and other debris inside the container. I prefer salons that individually seal tools in separate packages. Recently, I had a disturbing experience. My technician went to work on another customer and used the same cuticle cutter she used on me. She wiped it with a cloth (hopefully it had alcohol on it). This was the last straw for me. They are cutting corners and should probably be inspected. I've also heard them complain when someone paid with a credit card. I heard one technician ask a customer for cash or Venmo and told the customer that cards cost them too much money. I was told that they closed the register and I needed to pay with cash. This place does great nails, but it's not worth your health! read more
