The area became very painful, swollen, irritated, and started imbedding in my ear. I eventually went to another professional piercer, who had to remove the jewelry and explained how badly the piercing had been done and how much damage it caused to the area. This was a painful and stressful experience, and I would not recommend this location at all. I have photos of the piercing and the jewelry after it was removed. From start to finish, the process of getting a tattoo with her was smooth. She was very detailed. She communicated every step of the way when it came to designing. I know my tattoo is very simple but she educated me on the why certain fonts wouldn't work, why location was important because of how the skin would turn with movement, and gave me great after care instructions. I found Yolanda and made an appointment and she was very sweet and knowledgeable. She fixed the arch on my right side and drew out the brows before starting. She took her time which I really appreciate and they came out better than I could've hoped for - waaay better than even my first time at Faces Plus! She gave me a little package of ointment and told me what I should and shouldn't do to take care of them so they wouldn't fade as fast. He welcomed us and made us feel right at home, which really added to the overall experience. One thing that really stood out to me was a sign about rewarding kids for getting good grades. I thought it was such a cool idea that they encourage kids by letting them earn free skateboard parts and other goodies. I love seeing businesses invest in their community like that. I reached out to Orbit just to see if they had inline skates or could order the specific ones I was looking for. Sal reached out via email and text and was able to check with his supplier and found them! They were available for pickup within a week! I'd never been to Orbit but stopped by to pick up the order. Cool place with good vibes - it was hopping on a Friday evening.
