You know how people always say they "have a guy" for things? I've always wanted that... and then I…read morerealized I do. Tony is my tattoo guy. I've gone to him time and time again for a majority of my work and he can't miss. This last visit in April was extra special because my daughter asked if we could get matching tattoos for her 18th birthday. It was her first and what's this mama going to say, no? Couldn't be me. There was no one else I would trust with that process, especially when it comes to something so precious. We sent Tony our inspo pics and he absolutely nailed it, plus added his own feedback in all the right ways. The detail? On point. The linework? CLEAN AF. Plus, everything healed beautifully. And the compliments? Nonstop. Everywhere we go, someone's asking who did them, and we're more than happy to show them off. Tony and the team also just moved into a new location and the vibe is immaculate. Super laid back, really comfortable, and not intimidating at all. It actually feels like a place you'd want to hang out. No ego, no weird energy, just solid work from someone who clearly cares. Grateful to have found him... because now he's not getting rid of me anytime soon :)

The area became very painful, swollen, irritated, and started imbedding in my ear. I eventually went to another professional piercer, who had to remove the jewelry and explained how badly the piercing had been done and how much damage it caused to the area. This was a painful and stressful experience, and I would not recommend this location at all. I have photos of the piercing and the jewelry after it was removed. Highly recommend going to Claudia instead for any future piercings and tattoos. Make your appointment with her at (510)221-1156.

The ambiance was also really nice- they have this vintage, saloon style waiting room, and my piercer in particular had a bunch of cool art in her room. For a pair of ear piercings they charge $50, for a piercing on one ear, they charge $40. The jewelry is included for free with the piercing too. Those prices are a STEAL!! I definitely recommended this little gem of a place! Btw: did I mention that they also offer a selection of jewelry as well, and that's also great quality and super affordable too?

She was incredibly thorough in explaining the process and made sure the shape and style complemented my facial features while still looking natural. I've got "virgin" brows, so I really appreciated Maureen's attention to detail and patience. She didn't rush anything and made sure I was completely happy with the design before moving forward. You can tell she genuinely cares about her work and her clients. My brows turned out absolutely beautiful -- the shape is flattering, polished, and exactly what I was hoping for. I'm so happy I trusted Maureen with them! If you're considering getting your brows done and want someone who is professional, talented, meticulous, and truly listens to what you want, I highly recommend Maureen. I expanded my search to the Bay Area (I live in Monterey), and found Micah, and am so so so glad I did. From the beginning, Micah makes you feel comfortable, and is transparent with how they work, what they charge and it makes for a great collaborative experience. They have a cute, comfy studio, and really take the time to listen to you, figure out what's important, and make an amazing piece of permanent art. After 2 separate 2.5 hour sessions, I came out with an amazing bull kelp tattoo, with coloration that was both true to life, and out of this world. I cried after I saw the finished piece, and cried again when I removed the bandage that night. It's an amazing piece of art, and Micah is both an amazing artist and human being. It was worth every hour of traffic, and every dollar I spent, and I'm already brainstorming for the next one.
