Traveled from socal to get a tattoo here from Crys and I'm so glad I did! I got a baybayin tattoo that turned out beautifully, and the whole process was seamless. Crys even provided a mockup the day before, so we were able to get started right away on the day of my appointment. It's only August but I've visited Kapwa Ink 3 times already The first time was in February for their Valentine's Day flash event (the event itself yes was busy - but! there were snacks, water available & the vibes were pretty chill). My next visit was in April - I got 2 tattoos with Kristina. She was super communicative & when I asked if I can get a 2nd tattoo during the same appointment, she made it work out & helped me which appt to book on their website. Got a simple custom tribal on my ear & again - just like Kristina, Crys was very communicative - letting me know the process of making the tattoo to letting me know they're running behind the day of. I booked my first ever tattoo session with Kristina. I was so nervous, but Kristina has such a calm and welcoming vibe from the beginning. She brought my vision for my tattoo and gave it a life I couldn't have even created in my dreams! Her idea to add little details to my tattoo made all the difference (ie shading and line work) Her Instagram bio describes her PERFECTLY, a mama and a bestie. It really felt like we've known each other for a long time (I saw another review highlight this and couldn't agree more!). She made me feel super comfortable and we laughed and joked for my whole 4 hour session. It actually went by so much faster than I thought! She checked on me throughout my session asking if I needed a break to drink water or have a snack and it makes all the difference to get through a longer session! Kristina did my tattoo for me and I can't recommend her enough!! From the initial consult texts, to my appointment, and aftercare. Everything was professional, thoughtful, and she listened to what I wanted and brought my vision to life. The tattoo-ing process was not painful at all. The worst part was the soap when she cleaned it at the end. The appointment took 3 hours for a 7" tattoo on my thigh and honestly, it felt like way faster than that. She was so responsive and kind during the entire pre-tattoo phase when it came to the actual design of it and through the entire tattoo experience.
