So I decided to text the number and finally got a response. Following Monday drove 30 miles out of my way to get my replacement donuts that were left out of the order and asked for a free coffee. We moved to Forsyth in July 2021…read more Ingles is a grocery store. It is one of only two choices in Forsyth for grocery walk-in. Walmart is the other choice. Ingles uses a reward based signup system for discounts. If you have an out of state area code be prepared for it to not work properly if you just use your phone number instead of carrying the rewards card. They signed me up each time I went because their system is incapable of finding areas code not specific to Georgia. Their system thinks you belong to another Ingles market and just doesn't find you. The manager finally let me know the error or I would have had a 4th card number. They also won't use a store based courtesy card to just move the process along. Any other grocery store I've been to can do that, but apparently not Ingles. The parking lots and the store is clean. They have helpful employees when finding things. Their prices on most things are 20%-50% more than can be found elsewhere. You can attempt to justify that increased price range however you like in your mind. But that adds up real fast to additional money out of pocket. I simply go to Ingles only as a last resort. I choose Walmart, or driving over to Macon to have a much broader grocery and pricing options.
