If I can do minus 5 stars I would. My truck broke down on the side of 99 just north of Bakersfield about 34 miles from quality towing. My insurance set me up with them and so I sat and waited and waited and waited after 3 hours and 30 minutes and a few phone calls I finally called my insurance and told them to cancel. I wasn't doing business with someone who told me 3 different times they were on their way. After that my insurance hooked me up with Arnold's towing and they did an outstanding job. They were at my pickup location within 30 minutes. They were very respectful and professional. Maybe quality towing should rename their company to...... Went to start my car and it didn't turn on. Called Hyundai road assistance at 11a who then dispatched me to this company. Was on the phone with them like 5 min giving all the info. The dispatcher said id receive a text message with the ETA which was 12:09pm. Which i was surprised and happy about little did I know that wouldn't be the case. I called dispatcher at 12:30 and she said it'll be an additional 30min. I said ok. I called few more times and all those times the dispatcher said 30min. It is now 3:12p and just got off the phone with the dispatcher AND she has the nerve to say an additional 20min. Fml! DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!!!!!!!!! They must be contracted through a lot of Car dealerships roadside service which is very unfortunate because this company is trash. They lie about etas they lie about the driver being en route. The driver even lied about being outside and made me wait in the rain. After three hours of waiting he opened my car without asking for ID to verify I was the owner or even the person who called for assistance which in itself is extremely negligent. I locked my keys in my truck the other day and USAA roadside assistance sent out Quality Towing. I sat outside my truck with my wife and 2 small children so long that the police brought us water and let the kids sit in their car. I called the dispatch 4 seperate times and each time was told that the truck would be there in 15 mins: I waited a total of 3 HOURS!! Yelp says they are 1.4 miles away, a 4 minute drive but I'm guessing since it's a roadside assistance call there not in to much of a rush. That's totally not right for it to take this long. read more

I called my State Farm Roadside Assistance and this company was dispatched out to me. They gave me a 30 minute ETA and even showed up 5 minutes early, which was good for being across town. After reading the reviews, I was worried I'd be waiting hours. My car was jumpstarted within a minute and I was on my way. I have no complaints whatsoever. read more

When they didn't show I called Quality Towing, they said oh it will be another 30 minutes. Yet they didn't show again....called them back and again they said 30 minutes. This is the worst tow company I have ever dealt with. My car battery died and needed to be towed to the dealership, called roadside assistance and was told they would be here in less then an hour. Called the tow company after an hour and was told 30 more minutes. My insurance company called after 2 hours and the truck finally showed up. After attempting and failing to jump my car he said a different truck would have to come and they would be here in about 15 minutes. I have now been waiting for 3 hours for a 5 mile tow. read more

Well, I didn't receive any service from this company, but I do have a story to tell. So, on 1/29/17 at approx. at 2:50am, one of the driver had some drama. So I work graveyards at a local hotel in Bakersfield CA, on a very popular street for prostitution. So I'm minding my own business, catching up on Narcos on Netflix and all of a sudden I get a loud bang on our night window here, and it was a well known prostitute from the area. "Let me in, let me in!! He's chasing me!!" She said. So I went to let her in, and noticed there was a Quality Towing truck outside, frantically driving over the parking lot speed bumps. The guy angrily got out the truck and asked the prostitute, "Where's all my money you just stole?!" "You only gave me $20.00!" The prostitute said. At this time the tow truck driver started walking towards the lobby doors, with haste. I quickly locked and bolted the door. "I'm going to call my DEA agent friend!" Said the tow truck driver, while getting back in his Quality Towing truck. By that time, the prostitute ran from the lobby through the back door entrance and ran to safety across the street. The tow truck driver decided to drive away from the lobby down the parking lot, and about 15min later 3 cops pulled up on him and then left. Not sure what happened there...but the driver finally left about 30 mins waiting and lurking in the parking lot of this hotel. Moral of this story, if you want a hooker, make sure you A. Use your personal vehicle and B. Don't bring all your money with you...lol UNPROFESSIONAL PERVERTS!!!! read more

State Farm needs to get a new towing service. Quality tow is sorry. Terrible service. People wait for over 3-4 hours in town to get towed and their ETA's are a joke. People don't use them, it's better to use somebody else. I understand sometimes things happen, but customer service still comes first in a business. Good service will get you a referral for more customers. In this town word of mouth spreads quick. Improvement needed. Then tow truck driver went to the wrong street. Lol. This is unbelievable. Got off work at 5 pm; car wouldn't crank over. Called The Hartford roadside assistance who dispatched Quality Towing. Was given a texted ETA of 1 hour with Quality 's phone number. No showed. Waited another 15 minutes and called Quality Towing directly. Dispatcher says he's on the way and just a few more minutes. Another 30 minutes go by nothing. Called again. Dispatcher says he's on his way. It's now dark and I'm alone in a parking lot. At home, my husband is frantic and he calls the company himself with some firm words, and within 10 minutes the truck shows. A total of over 2 hours goes by before tow truck shows up. He opened the hood and asked where the battery was cause he could not see it, and asks if it's in the trunk. Ummm...no. I have an Audi. My faith in him plummets; but he finally finds it in its little area. He jump started the battery in about 5 short minutes, and left. Next time, I'll call Jim's Towing directly since I've used them before and they were there for me before, at the appointed time, and then just get reimbursed by my insurance company. read more

DON'T BE FOOLED BY THE NAME - Quality Towing is anything but. Was given and ETA of 339 and told at 354 the driver was 30 minutes out. Called again at 437 and was told he was on the way but still 20 minutes away. Then received at call from the driver at 534 who told me he was on the way. I called and question the receptionist, Ellie, who stated she was "very sorry" and that they were busy today and were doing their best. She did not have an answer as to why she kept giving me false wait times, but instead a fake "sorry". Because of their lack of urgency and professionalism my 2 year old and 6 week old sat in 100°+ weather while they continued to make empty promises on arrival time. They did not get my car to the dealership before closing either which restricted me from being able to receive a courtesy car to take my children to the doctors tomorrow morning. This business is a complete joke and does not care about your situation or value you as a customer. DO NOT CALL THEM FOR SERVICE- unless of course you have a few hours you don't mind spending in the heat and like to be walked all over. read more

I would give them 0 stars if it allowed!!!! Broke down on highway 58 on Sunday afternoon in 100 degree weather around 4:30 in a very dangerous area! Called our insurance agent because we have towing on our policy. THey arranged Quality Towing to come get our truck and our RV. WE also called Quality towing and were told that they will be there in 45 minutes for our truck and for our RV. Over one hour passed and we called again with their response we are on our way. Waited again over an hour later no sign of them, we called again and they said on our way should be there in a few!! It is now getting dark and dangerous, called once again and the woman on the phone said...."oh sorry but we don't have a truck to tow the RV" so now after over 4 hours of waiting, they were not on their way, they did not even bother to call us and let us know!!!!!! WE finally were towed out by another company around 11:00pm!!!! What a scam of a business........I highly DO NOT recommend this company!!!!! read more

Kept us waiting for nearly 2 hours! Apparently every truck they sent out had some sort of issue & ended up running behind but never once received a curiosity call. The receptionist, Emily, was beyond rude when I brought it up & I was continuously told "20 minutes" everytime I called. The first truck got held up out in Lamont & couldn't make it, supposedly the second got in an accident on his way to me, not a single call to let me know there would be a delay at any point &, after she argued with me about the situation, I was told that their customers were not a concern of hers at this point. Thankfully, 35 minutes after my last call, a tow truck showed! The driver was very polite, got the car hooked up & delivered very quickly & was nice enough to help us get it in the drive way so we wouldn't have to push it!
