It was great working with Tony. He gave me a tour of the shop, showed me all the stone he had in stock. Educated me very well in stone countertops. So when I left there I was smarter than when I got there. The whole process was stress free. I got to pick out my slab (Fantasy Brown), everything was approved by me before they did any cutting, and the finished countertops came out perfect. I was a little taken back by the need for a 50% deposit, but it turns out that everyone requires that same deposit, so not a problem. Vary professional crew came out and were done in about 3 hours. Bottom line, I am happy as can be with my new countertops from QSC and will definitely call on them again when I do my kitchen island. read more

Worked with Ryan on cabinets and countertops for my second house. Ryan suggested a refrigerator cabinet, instead of cabinets on the wall. He was the professional, so I took his advice. When they installed it, it wasn't attached to anything - it was left freestanding. It wobbled and you couldn't use the cabinets above the refrigerator. They did come back out and somewhat stabilize it, but it looks like crap and isn't sturdy enough to use the cabinets. Horrible design. A few weeks ago, the sink fell into the cabinet - It's an undermount sink. It's only been 4 years since they installed it. When it fell, it broke a plumbing pipe. However, since they only warranty their over $10k job for 2 years, they charged $200 to come out and reattach the sink. They also stated that the plumbing issue is on me - they don't do plumbing. That meant getting a plumber on a Friday afternoon and an additional $275 for repairs or $600 for replacement. Our house had issues at the outset and those were on me. But the design and installation was on QSC and it sucks. read more

This company has been a constant source of delay in our home project. They have installed cabinets incorrectly and different from approved plans. They have installed countertops without the approval of our general contractor or us (the homeowners). Our project is now going on five months and a lot of the delays are due to QSC. They have failed to return to correct mistakes made and are now completely blowing off our GC. We had to file Better Business Bureau report. I suggest all the 1 star reviewers do the same. Especially, if you are a disabled vet willing to talk to the media as we are (and yes BBB asks that specifically). Being in such a big military area, I'm sure there are many people that would be interested in hearing your accounts. Buyer beware. If you want anything done right or in a timely fashion do not go with this company. read more

I regret ever contracting this company! From the beginning there were signs but I stuck with it because I thought they would keep their promise to deliver. This was a nearly $20,000.00 job. Once they were paid they disappeared. The job is still incomplete. Both Tony and Terry gave me their word they would be back to fix the errors and complete the job, never heard back. Roughly 6 months ago I purchased my kitchen cabinets from them providing all necessary measurements. They delivered me the wrong size cabinet for my double oven. When I tried to get them to fix it they told me that they forgot to tell me that I have to cut up and customize the cabinet myself. Long story short I've called them a couple dozen times and even went up there. Each time they tell me that they will look into the problem and call me later that day or the next day. But guess what THEY NEVER CALL YOU BACK. THEIR CUSTOMER SERVICE IS NON EXISTANT. Several colleagues of mine in the construction industry warned me not to use them. I thought maybe they were wrong and took a chance. Guess who's cutting this cabinet tonight so that I might be able to finally cook dinner in an oven. Went into the shop to look at various counter top materials and met with Robert Holten in sales. He came out to my house the next morning and measured everything, then emailed me a quote that same evening. My husband and I went back into the shop about a week later, picked out our slabs, signed the contract and wrote a check. Robert was a wonderful sales rep and we were confident everything would go smoothly. Sadly, it did not. Robert told us someone would call us to schedule another measurement appointment at the house. A week and half went by and we didn't hear anything from the company. I reached out to inquire about our dates to measure and install and finally received an email with info from Terry (one of the owners) stating the delay was an over site on his part. Had I not reached out, I don't know how long we would have been ignored. Terry provided a date to measure (about 4 weeks out) and an install to be 6 weeks out. He also stated, "Jenice from my office will call or email you a few days prior to each date as a reminder and to provide you with a time frame." We were fine with the dates, just shocked they were so far out. The day before the measure appointment, I got an email at 3:30pm, from Jenice stating they would arrive the next day at 8:00am. No phone call - just an email. They didn't even give me 24 hours notice. I responded back that I'm only available after 9am and it's too short notice to make other arrangements. I heard nothing. I phoned their office and left voice mail messages for her, Terry and Ryan (both owners) as sadly no one answers their phones apparently. I never got a call or email in response. Assuming they would still arrive at 8am as we didn't hear anything back stating otherwise, my husband cancelled his morning work meeting in order to meet them at 8am. No one from QSC ever showed up. No one ever called or emailed. This seems to be a pattern with them. I later reached out to them and got an email from Terry stating - he did call me and left me a voice mail. I told him I never got a call or VM from anyone at QSC - I asked him to verify the number, which he read off the wrong one. He said that's my number that they have on file. I told him my copy of the contract has my correct number listed, so does the check I paid with and ALL of my emails correspondence with their company. Odd, he would call the wrong number. But, it does happen. So we just took his word for it and scheduled another date to measure. Two weeks passed and again, Jenice was to call and confirm a few days prior. She didn't. We assumed everything was fine and they would arrive on time. Our appointment time of 9am came and went. No one ever showed up, called or emailed. After two hours I reached out to Jenice and was told Matt was running late, but he was at their office and could leave immediately to my home (35 minutes away). I told her our appointment was for 9, not 11 or 12 and I had to leave. After brief discussion and listening to more of their lies and excuses I requested they cancel my contract immediately and send me a refund of my payment. QSC dropped the ball with us MANY times. I would normally address my concerns to a manager or owner, but we were already dealing with them directly and still had major issues. Even the weeks trying to get our refund check was more problems and more miscommunication. This again, just confirmed that we made the right decision to step away from doing any business with this company. read more

I called QSC and asked if they could recommend anyone to me. Even though I was not a QSC customer, Tony Perroni was happy to talk to me and gave me a phone number for TJ, who ended up coming to my house and doing some great work. Tony and TJ really came through for me. I really appreciate Tony's willingness to talk to someone who was not a former customer, but if the occasion arises, I will be a future customer for sure. read more

I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone! I asked for a quote 4 times. Still nothing! They did do my granite counters in my kitchen. They were unbelievably rough! Not even slightly smooth as granite should be! They attempted to fix then, still not happy. Go anywhere but here for your granite! Rock Solid is supposed to be awesome. I stopped in QS on a whim driving by. I inquired with 2 other companies for quotes and they were the lowest price, mostly because of installation pricing. My cabinet install came in ahead of schedule. My countertops had a small road bump but they made it right and my kitchen looks awesome. All the installers were great, polite and punctual. Had to do a whole home renovation in a month, small budget. I didn't know we'd would have to replace the countertops until about the last two weeks. I read the reviews of QSC and went by the show room. After explaining my needs to Chris, he found me a lower budget quartz material that was less expensive than granite in their "budget" line. While by no means inexpensive, it was a great price anyway and when I explained my time constraints, they gave me a two week out date for install. ??! I was always under the impression that any of those types of materials took 4-6 weeks. Not only did they work with me on that, I got a call the week prior to install to let me know they had a cancellation and could install five days early!!!! Wow!! The only tiny thing I could possibly be unhappy with is the seam on the backsplash doesn't line up with the seam on the countertop. But it's a minor imperfection in an otherwise beautiful countertop that probably only I would notice. Install was fast, and the gentlemen were professional and very personable. The accounting department, and Jenice in particular, are very responsive to calls and emails and she was a pleasure to work with. The plumbing company that works with them was able to meet the updated schedule with two days notice but they are super expensive. Oh well. It's gorgeous and I'm a happy customer! read more

Found them online and when I saw they were literally around the corner from where I live, I decided to drive there instead of calling, and plus I wanted to see what they had. At first I wasn't sure if I could even enter the building because off to the side by their warehouse is a sign that said something about Naval Personnel only. I decided the worse that could happen is they'll turn me away and tell me something else. It was safe to come in, looked kinda stark and empty inside with no one around but after a few minutes Tony Pirrone came out to introduce himself and "help me." He asked when would be a good time for him to come by my house for measurements and I told him that same day would work for me but unfortunately, it didn't work for him because he was getting ready to leave for the day to take some kids fishing as he was a volunteer EMT. Ok, cool, another day will work for me then. He gave me a sample to take home and sent me on my way. He came by the next day or so and everything was great, even took pictures, and talked to my guy working on my house about my fireplace and what all needed to be done. He was great, easy to talk to, was on time, but it all ends there. Said he'd work up a quote and email me but NEVER DID. I even called him and left a voicemail inquiring how the quote was coming along but NO RETURN CALL either! I had no time to waste so eventually I went with Rock Solid Surfaces and all is said & done now. Sorry, Tony, your communication skills went way to the left and disappeared. Not cool. read more

From the time we walked in the showroom and spoke with Robert Holton we had a great experience. From Robert to everyone we dealt with through the entire process of remodeling our kitchen the customer service was just amazing. I rarely write reviews but felt compelled to because I had a really excellent experience with QSC (was really surprised by some of the bad reviews here). I reached out to QSC back in January when we started renovating our house. I spoke with Ryan C on the phone and over email, went in to meet with him, discuss my kitchen plan and look at slabs. He always emailed and called me back in a timely manner, spent a lot of time emailing me options for my kitchen design and was 100% gracious when I told him we were going to go with cabinets from a different company but would still be getting our countertops from QSC. Fast forward many months later, when we were finally ready to install the counters - I spoke/emailed with maybe 4-5 different people at QSC to coordinate installation, payment, work to be done, etc etc. Each was responsive, communicative, kind and thorough. Really can't say enough nice things about this place. Everything turned out beautifully. An excellent experience all around. read more
