I met the owner, who was nice, but couldn't provide me with an estimate at that time. I'm not sure why as everyone else I talked to did provide one on the spot. Anyway, after a few days go by I called the office to enquire about it and was told that I will get it shortly. That was Friday. On Monday I still hadn't got it so I sent an Email request. I'm thinking they must be so busy that they didn't care about my job. It was 60 sq feet of countertop. Well, the response I got back was not only rude but she decided to tack on an extra $1500 to the estimate with a snide remark about really looking forward to doing business with me. When placing the order, I was told it would be ready within 2 weeks. At 2 weeks, I called and was told it would be another 2 weeks. (They didn't call me to let me know of any delays). Once again, I called them to find out the status, and once again, the countertops weren't there. Now, we're at 4 weeks for a 2 week order. My client is being patient, but they've got a torn apart kitchen. They're not exactly happy about this delay. We've already made a deposit to this company for half of the amount of the cost. They've given no reason for these delays. Once again, another 2 weeks goes by with constant phone calls by myself to them. Absolutely no communication FROM them. Finally, the counters are ready. BUT, no backsplashes yet....ARE YOU SERIOUS?????? Fine, at least the customer can use his kitchen. During this time, I have asked several times to speak to the owner/boss/manager and have been given several reasons of why I'm unable to, not in, fishing, etc. When going to pick up the counters, they weren't even all cut correctly. I could go on, but the long and short...A few days later, we finally got the backsplashes too. My customer had to wait a frustrating 2 months to get his counters finished and I have YET to hear back from this company boss. Oh, but the receptionist did say he approved $50 off the total bill........Yes, that number you see is the correct number of 0's. $50. He cost me about $400, plus the time, aggravation, and reputation, but he'll offer a whopping $50 for my time and the gas it cost me to make multiple trips to pick up the countertops. So when I left there I was smarter than when I got there. The whole process was stress free. I got to pick out my slab (Fantasy Brown), everything was approved by me before they did any cutting, and the finished countertops came out perfect. I was a little taken back by the need for a 50% deposit, but it turns out that everyone requires that same deposit, so not a problem. Vary professional crew came out and were done in about 3 hours. Bottom line, I am happy as can be with my new countertops from QSC and will definitely call on them again when I do my kitchen island.

The price we were offered was lower than the competition, and the quality of the installation was excellent. We chose our materials from an outside provider, and this was not a problem. Our service representative, Michael Childress, worked with us from start to finish and was always available to answer all of our questions along the way. Two slabs was all that was required to complete the countertops, full back splashes, and breakfast counter. Cat, the designer, was fantastic to work with--knowledgeable, responsive, and easy to communicate with. We were pleasantly surprised by how quickly we were able to get on the schedule, and at that point, we felt confident we had chosen the right company. Unfortunately, once the work began, it became clear that the quality of the initial installation was not acceptable. The shower pan did not drain properly, the original 20-year-old liner was not replaced, and there were a number of cut corners that raised serious concerns. It was disappointing, especially given the cost and our expectations going into the project. That said, what truly turned the experience around was how the company handled these issues. Aaron and Noah stepped in and responded in a very professional and accountable way. They took our concerns seriously and committed to making things right. A new crew was brought in, and the difference was night and day. The second crew was professional, efficient, and clearly took pride in their work. They redid the project properly, addressed all previous issues, and delivered a final result that we are genuinely happy with. While the process had its hiccups, the company's willingness to stand behind their work and correct mistakes restored our confidence.
