They advertised that they…read moredo SNS dipping powder but when the lady started she told me she wouldn't do that and tried to use the SNS powder and liquid like they do for solar nails. My nail technician was not gentle. Almost all of my fingers were bleeding at the cuticle and hurting during and after. I get my nails done often and can tell the difference between occasional discomfort and the lack of awareness she had speeding through the service. I had also asked several times for my nails to be cut shorter and she said yes but would not cut them. Once she put a clear coat on top my solid blue color I noticed white spots all over them. I pointed this out and she said it's just the color. I asked to see the original example and it was not at all what I had. After the discomfort I experienced and already disappointed that I did not receive the SNS dipping powder like I asked for I did not want her to try and fix them. I will have to go somewhere else to have them fixed during my vacation and spend more money. I was looking forward to spending time within my grandmother and getting our nails done together but this was not a great experience.

I had to soak for a long time and she had to use the electric filing tool repeatedly. Kim did a wonderful job applying fresh dipping powder to my nails and gave me the look I wanted. I was a bit hesitant because my hair is different from most of the demographic in the area. However, when I called to make my appointment, I asked if any stylist knew how to cut "thin, very curly hair". I was assured that I was @ the right place. Ms. Kylie wore her mask the whole time, so I was not able to see her whole face... but I appreciated that she was following the guidelines! I'm a chemistry teacher @ WBHS so I was completely pooped out when I go there. But Ms. Kylie did an amazing job at keeping me engaged! it was great to talk to someone animated - it was an easy conversation. We had a great conversation about COVID, schools, hair dos & colors, while she cut my hair. Ok, the point: I LOVE the way Ms. Kylie cut my hair! She did an amazing job. I know that she knew I was nervous. Thin, curly hair needs to be cut and treated differently. It you do not cut it correctly, my hair will frizz & I will look like a ball. Additionally my hair is super short so I can't even put it up to hide bad hair cuts. Unfortunately, I've had this problem a few times in other salons; hence the Initial nervousness & hesitance. I am very greatly to have found Ms. Kylie. After my next cut, I will be doing a color again. Most definitely a rating of #5 - EXCELLENT! B/c that is what she was. If you are worried about getting your hair done, don't be! Just make sure to explain what you want, specifically, to the person that picks up the phone @ "On Stage". EDIT: came back 2 weeks after my initial review for a full set. Came in as a walk in, was told to…read moresit down and then wasn't talked to for another 10 minutes until an employee, who was not my nail tech, rudely told me to go pick a color, and they have along the lines of thousands of colors. So i had no direction whatsoever. Then, the tech starts doing my nails and starts doing dip powder after i had said 3 times i wanted powder acrylic, not dipped. I let that go due to me being in a time crunch. She asked how long i wanted the tips and i told her short and in response was hit with a "short? Really?" And an unpleasant look on her face. She didn't speak to me the entire time and my nails are uneven. I had such high hopes for this salon but it looks like it's on to the next one. got extensions from Lindsay for a couple years and I have had nothing but good things to say about…read moreher. However, over the time I have spent in her chair, my feelings have changed. I understand having a cancellation fee, however, things happen in life that are beyond control, such as emergency hospitalization, that deserve consideration of the policy. And it's not like I was a no show, I sent txt messages letting her know that I was sick and ended up in the hospital. Especially since I had more than four changes to my appointments from Lindsay, to all of which I complied. The last straw for me was when I called a few weeks before my usual appointment to let her know that I removed my extensions and planned to work on growing my natural hair but that I still need a cut and my roots done. On the day of my appointment I was charged $400. (My normal appointments were $500 to move up 2 rows of extensions and cut and color). I paid the $400 being confused but not wanting to cause a scene. I have lived in Atlanta, Charlotte , NC, Dallas and other cities and never in my life have I paid $400 for a cut & color. I feel taken advantage of and it has bothered me to the point of writing this review and never going back.
