Unprofessional and facility lacked basic cleanliness. Pedicure was not great. I will not be going back.

I had the worst experience at this nail shop. My nails came out very ugly, and the prices are extremely overpriced for the services provided. I went in for a fill, which is listed at $65, and I also got shellac on my toes for $15. I did not receive a pedicure or manicure. Despite this, my total came out to $105, which made no sense. When I asked for an explanation, the owner was unable to clearly explain why my total was that high. After the service was already done, she mentioned that they charge an additional $15 for French tips, which was never discussed or communicated beforehand. The lack of transparency with pricing and the poor quality of service were extremely disappointing. I do not plan on returning and would not recommend this place read more

This lady took my brand new purse and flung it on the floor. Ticked me off! Meanwhile, the lady next to me had hers sitting right by her on a stool. These people are just mean and gossip amongst each other the whole time they are servicing you. *There should be no repeat on the negative review if the 1st bad experience was handled correctly. Rudeness should be nipped in the bud immediately. Just admit that you're business is unprofessional. read more

They ripped my previous set off and damaged my real nail. They put a tip on my damaged nail and said it would burn but it would be fine. I then asked for a French tip, and it came out horrible. The nails are very lumpy the nails as a whole look like a press on nail. read more

Have been here twice. The first time it wasn't too bad (the actual work they did). I brought a friend the second time. She told them that all she wanted was nails trimmed, no polish, minimum charge. Should have been $40. She ended up paying over $100. On a limited income and a senior. Y'all were so wrong. On the second trip, we walked in and all the women were speaking to each other about their clients and snide remarks when you walk in the doors. They bum rushed us to a guy they yelled at to take care of us. He appeared in an obvious bad mood. We should have just left right then. But she wanted to give them a chance. We saw others had drinks (complimentary) and asked how much was a soda. They said free. Tiny glasses were given to us. Sorry no ice. We asked for the rest of the drink. They said no. Only one drink. I asked for water. No. Only one drink. We left and will not go back. Epique Nails at North Park Plaza is where we go now. Much better atmosphere and they are very nice and patient and you get two complimentary drinks at Epique. Plus, it's way more reasonable and very clean. read more

To start I have never made a review in my entire life, but the experience was so terrible I thought it was necessary. DO NOT GO HERE!!!!! The experience was not worth the almost $200 charge. I payed $200 and was out of there in 15 minutes because they so heavily rushed through me. They continuously rolled their eyes at my daughter and I, and made rude comments directly towards us. Each time my lady finished on one hand she practically through my hand back at me. There were no accommodations made towards me or my daughter. I came 3 years ago and it was the same horrible experience. My usual nail lady was booked so I thought I would give them another shot. Unfortunately I had the same terrible experience. This is maybe my 3rd time in here since they opened. It's Mother's Day and I went because my usual place wasn't opened. I asked for a lavender type blue (I picked the shellac out on a board of colors and showed her twice). She purposely picked the whitest, ugliest polish imaginable. I speak Vietnamese, I heard her talk to her coworker and make fun of me the whole Time. I told her the polish was wrong, she didn't care. I still tipped her $20. She was lame, the salon is lame. My experience was the worst, first and last time going there. I was greeted and told to sit in the 4th chair which I didn't mind and on my way to sit in the 4th chair which I counted 1,2,3,4 the tech told me no and to sit in the 3rd chair. I waited for a little which I didn't mind and told my tech what I would like being an acrylic set. First came putting on the tips and I could tell some of them were crooked and cutting down the tips with scissors without even comparing the length to make sure they are the SAME and went straight into putting dip powder on them. I could tell my nails were going to be THICK for my slim and petite nails. I couldn't do it anymore and said " No I can't" my tech got an attitude slamming down his brush making me feel uncomfortable, blaming me, talking about me and not even apologizing or wanting to compromise. I told them I would pay for whatever was already completed for a soak off. $20 was said at the register I said " that's fine" the lady at the register said " what was that?" Normally I love this place but today I got the worst manicure I've ever received. And they charged me $70 for it when I only got my cuticles cut no extra perks. As soon as I sat in the chair the younger guy with glasses was extremely unhappy he had to do my nails He huffed and puffed the entire time. He made a few nails crooked and the pointer finger was so crooked I had to ask him 5 times to fix it bc he would just ignore me abs say it's straight. Finally I said No absolutely not that's not straight just over all crap service crap attitude really disappointed. As you can see my middle finger nail is off centered. The nail polish is lighter in some areas and he didn't even clean up under my nail. Now how is this $70 when I normally pay $50 for better treatment and better service at the same location! OMG, THIS PLACE IS AMAZING!!! The nail bar is the place to go in Beaumont. I got a mani-peti, and the people were so lovely! Plus, my nails ended up looking exactly like my reference picture (the guy that did them said it was his first day). Even though they have a bar and serve alcoholic drinks they let in people under 21 (don't worry no toddlers). Only bad thing is that one of my nails isn't even with the rest which can annoy some people but i'm fine with it, he still did an amazing job on everything else. read more

I got a pedicure and a full set. Pedicure lasted 5 minutes, no massage whatsoever even though it was $40. The guy that did it was in a horrible mood, kept mumbling stuff, and the nail polish looks ridiculous. He left and didn't even put the plastic sandals on. The guy doing my nails even commented on it. As for my hands, I removed my nails as soon as I left the salon. They were much shorter than what I wanted, told him I did not like them pointy and well the picture says it all. I don't mind paying money for a well done job, but this place is overprices. BIG waste of time and money. read more

First time here and decided to try the paradise pearl pedicure and get my eyebrows wax. I felt my service was rushed and the hot stones were lukewarm. I told the technician about the lukewarm hot stones and she apologized. I asked to speak to the manager and the technician did not know who that was. First impressions matter. Period. In regards to my eyebrow wax experience she did not take the time to tweeze my eyebrows nor applied aloe vera gel to calm the skin. I am a brown woman with sensitive skin. We had the best time ever! Husband and I finally got the baby a sitter for the afternoon and we decided to try out this sweet spot! I recently had a hysterectomy and my nails are super short and brittle. I needed a day to make me feel brand new! I wanted Valentine themed dipped nails and they delivered! I am currently sitting in a chair waiting for a pedicure. I have been sitting here for 10 minutes, and the only acknowledgment I received was when I walked in. Nobody has come to run water or anything. I haven't even received an I will be right with you. I am sitting between 3 workers. I am giving it another 3 minutes because that will be a total of 15 minutes of just sitting. I don't mind waiting but show me some good customer service. My daughter took me to the Nail Bar for a Mother's Day pedicure together and it was very nice. My lady was sweet and I could tell that she wanted me to feel special because I hadn't had a pedicure since 2013. I was happy to be pampered. My daughter's lady was very quiet. The only thing was that I really wanted a glass of wine, but didn't want to ask if I'd be charged for it. Little things were adding up like my polka dots. I had to pay $5 extra for them. This place is so great. Very calming and relaxing atmosphere, and my nail tech was so gentle I nearly fell asleep no joke!! I haven't had my nails done in two years, so I didn't really remember exactly what it was that I wanted but they were very patient with me and took care of me very quickly. I put in this review on google: "I was in there Memorial Day weekend and as my toenails grew I noticed a fungus under my big toe on my left foot. I just filed off the polish on the rest of my toes and there is a fungus on the other big toe. Have never had a fungus in all the years I have gotten my nails done. I will never go to this salon again. I chose this place on a rec from someone else as I was just in town for the weekend. Bad impression" You replied that I should take the polish off after three weeks for nail health. Nope. This is not because I left the polish on for more than three weeks. This happened because something in your salon wasn't clean. I get pedicures all the time and always leave the polish on for more than three weeks and I've never had this happen before.
