I knew I should have walked out when I was checking in. The young man at the receptionist counter was in the middle of talking to me when the phone rang, he answered and walked away. Second I picked an opaque color and the lady doing my manicure did not think it was a good option. She brought another color, less opaque. I kindly declined, which she did not like. Third, both ladies doing my manicure and pedicure cut me. I'm pretty thick skinned and rarely flinch, but I said ouch a couple of times. Fourth, to make the polish less opaque they applied 3 instead of 2 coats, which made too thick. They told me to wait 10 minutes and I waited 20. My nails were still very wet and messed up. I just asked them to remove the polish, paid and left. Fifth, the more I was look, the more I realized it was very clean. ***the lady who did my pedi was super sweet. Only nice thing from this experience. Would not recommend. Went in on 4/9. read more

Came here because my daughter and her friends come here and I am super disappointed. I've been getting my overlays done the same way but with different color polish tips for years and the first place I come to since being back in Texas did not do a good job. When I politly corrected her she got snippy. Don't come here if your a professional that values your real nails. The silver nails was my last set at 3wks old and you can't really see any of my fills. read more

This is a nice aesthetically pleasing nail shop! I rate my nails an 8/10. It took 3 people to draw abstract lines on my nails. 2 hours prior to getting my nails done i called and spoke with a lady named Melissa. i wanted something very specific so asked if i could send a picture before just going there (i live 30 miles out). Melissa seemed to have an attitude and told me that they can do any design and rushed to schedule an appointment time. She also was cutting me off on the phone as i was trying to talk. Once i got there i showed the pic to the nail tech and was told they couldn't do what i was wanting (the whole purpose of me calling.) So i decided to do some abstract lines. They didn't come out as expected so i asked for them to be redone with a different color. As i was trying to explain how i wanted them, MELISSA was constantly cutting me off to say "we cant" blah blah. After dealing with Melissa rude self, She was very bubbly to women next to me trying to get them to get shellac when one said NO multiple times. no means NO! Tbh she only cares about making as much money as possible on each client. It doesn't end there. A few month ago my friend and i came to elite nails for pedicures. They were constantly asking if we wanted shellac (i did but she didnt.) She said no at least 3 times and they STILL put shellac on her toes. And she told them she didnt want it once she realized it and THEY STILL charged her even though she said NO several times. Not to mention, shellac is at $20 upcharge. AN OPI BOTTLE OF FUNNY BUNNY IS $19.99????????? This is absolutely unacceptable. Luckily, we dont mind to blow a bag on our mani and pedis from time to time. Moral to the story i will not be giving this place my service anymore because they are money hungry and some of the employees are not nice. I LOVE MINNY THO!!! Finally a Nail Salon I can go to! It's been such a struggle finding a decent nail salon in South East Texas! The pedicure was absolutely amazing!!! I forgot to get the technicians name but this morning I woke up and my feet were so soft!!! She did such an amazing job. I then got a gel manicure with Lilly and she was amazing too!!!!! We came in to get pedicures and nails. The website shows 25 for full set of acrylic and 5 extra for dip. I got dip and my daughter got acrylic. Our total was EIGHTY DOLLARS. Not 55 as the site says. The woman who did my daughters nails was rude. They didnt do any of the things listed under their pedicure. We soaked our feet and then they trimmed the nails and painted them. No massage, no callous removal, nothing. So disappointed. Wont be back. read more

We went through their website to pick the services we wanted. They were not familiar with their own services apparently because I had to show them on my phone and we didn't get half of the services. We paid $58 for a mani-pedi that they basically just painted our toe nails. (No scrubbing the feet or anything that was listed on their website) We paid $60 at Venus and that included getting our eye brows done. read more

Today, June 19th 2020, I went for a pedicure and asked the person at the front desk if everyone would be required to wear a mask and they said 'yes.' The salon is not answering the phone (making appointments) and people are just coming in. At first it was not crowded, but then someone was seated right next to me (no social distancing) about half-way through my pedicure. In a few minutes, the tech next to me started coughing, not once or twice but repeatedly. Meanwhile, the owner, Melissa, was improperly wearing her mask (below her noses & then below her mouth when she spoke) and I decided I was done! My tech was great but they over-crowded this place and sloppy mask-wearing was happening with a tech and one patron (improperly wearing her mask) was coughing. Not a good environment during a pandemic with numbers spiking. I won't be back. read more

I came in for a soak off from the beginning I told the lady not to try to remove my nails with a fake nail tip. She tried twice after I told her it hurts and I bleed easily. Afterwards other coworkers added to her talking mess just because I wanted a soak off. Why offer the service if you don't want to take your time doing it instead of trying to take the easy way out. All 3 ladies who worked on us were perfessional and so sweet! They were gentle with my mom and made sure to take good care of her! She is 60 years old and this was her first pedicure ever. Came in an hour and half before closing wasn't super busy didn't have to wait at all. The nail tech doing a great job she really took her time and I didn't feel rushed at all the pedicure chairs were comfy and of course it had the massage feat which is a nice plus also offered free mimosa,soda drinks and water!
