Not knowing that there were two Tic Tac Nail salons on Phelan, I went to the wrong location. I asked for Van, the person who I was scheduled with. They told me hold on and shortly after I was taken to the back. It was my first time visiting this location and had no idea I was at the wrong location until the person I booked with called me as I was laying on the table getting my lashes done. I felt so bad but disappointed at the same time. They could have told me I was at the wrong location, because I asked for Van specifically. Honesty takes us a long way. On the other hand, I was not pleased with my lashes. One side looked OK and the other side some sections were longer than the other and it was very noticeable. She tried cutting it but it still didn't look right. I won't be going back. Thanks but no thanks. read more

Horrible! I kept explaining that I have shellac on my toes and needs to soaked off. She proceeded to ignore me and use a soft file without attempting file off the shine to soak off the shellac. I've been getting shellac/gel pedis for over 10 years and have never had this experience. I just moved here from California and was looking for a new nail salon. do not ever get acrylics done here. I got my toes done and acrylic nails done. my toes turned out great and I was okay with how my nails turned out. I noticed that the skin right above my nail bed was irritated but I thought it was cuz the technician was filing and grinding on my skin but no it's chemical burns. I now have chemical burns on every single nail in addition to still having cuts from when he was going on my skin. additionally he would go over my nail with the grinder so much that it would heat up my nail and make it almost hurt read more

When I walked in, I was greeted and put in a chair immediately. I had to wait for what seemed like forever with my feet soaking. Finally they started and I noticed they didn't use new tools, they were using the same tools they used on the previous woman. I said something to my friend and the girl heard me and changed tools. Now, as for the rest of the experience...they were VERY thorough and inexpensive. They did lots of scrubbing and massaging. This may surprise you, but I would go back, just make sure you get new tools. They are really good at what they do. read more

To be fair, Im not a spa guru, but these ladies know what they are doing. I had never yes NEVER had a pedicure before and they were patient and did a great deal of work. Very affordable considering. Now I go about once every two months. Now they have many different ladies working there and some are more gentle than others... And if you want someone two talk small talk with WHILE they scrub off your embarrassing amounts of calluses, you are probably going to have to pay much more somewhere else. But if you want affordable longlasting mani pedis I say give them a try! read more

We were rushed through as if there was some sort of time limit to get it done, our nail were crooked and the color was sloppy. Never again there! I went to Tic Tac Nails in Beaumont on 8/15/19 to get a pedicure and dipped tips for my wedding. I have very sensitive, ticklish feet, and I don't like for nail techs to scrub my callouses. I chose a pedicure service that didn't include a callous scrub. The first time that the tech started scrubbing on them, I told her that I preferred that she not. Then, she picked up a different scrub tool and started scrubbing my callouses again. Again, I asked her to stop. She did, and then picked up yet another scrubbing tool and went at my callouses again. At that point, I showed my irritability and said, "I've already told you twice that I don't want you to scrub my feet." I couldn't help but to think that her attempts to scrub my feet were purposed to raise the price for the service, as the package that included the callous scrub was $13 higher than the one that I had chosen. I could have scrubbed my own callouses, which is told her that I prefer to do with my own tools, for free. All the while, a nail tech was doing my nails. The color of dip that I chose for nails just happened to be the one color that the tech could not find anywhere in the facility. Because I was doing nail color to coordinate with my wedding dress, I couldn't just deviate and do some funky color that I'd always wanted to try. As a consolation, the tech brought out three dip powders from a different brand than the one I'd chosen and asked me to choose one of them. The one that I ultimately chose was similar in color to the one that I'd originally chosen. It was a light, opaque pink. During the dip process, it's not possible to know how the nail color will turn out until the tech applies the final clear coat to the nails. After my tech applied the clear coat to one hand, I took a look at the color and was grievously dismayed. My nails were not opaque; they were a see-through, ugly, darker pink that reminded me of a Merle Norman face mask that I'd used regularly during adolescence. As soon as I saw the nails on my right hand, I told him, "These nails are for my wedding this Saturday, and I need for them to be right. But they're see-through, and they don't look anything like the nail sample that you showed me beforehand." At that, he just picked up my left hand, started applying the clear coat to that hand, and said, "YOU picked the color. That's what the color looks like." I repeated while holding my right hand up to the sample, "These don't look anything like the sample." He said again, and yet again, "YOU picked the color, and this is what it looks like." To that, I said, then you're going to need to use regular polish to paint over them." So he did. In the end, my fingernails were lumpy and covered with Old-school polish that incurred marks in the paint the minute that I breathed on them. Were the techs fast? Yes. Were they thorough and precise? Never ever again... once I arrived I was sat down immediately which I thought would be a good thing. I then realized that i was actually being rushed. I asked for a take off and full set but she insisted I do a fill. After feeling pressured I just went with a fill. I also asked her to cut them down and she told me it was to late. These nails are the absolute most horrific nails I've ever had and I'm very disappointed. I paid 45.00 for a fill and couldn't even get a cut down if I wanted. Today my friend & I went to the Tic Tac Nails in Port Arthur and, what a HORRIBLE experience. We wanted our acrylic nails SOAKED off and a manicure. Instead of soaking the nails off they proceeded to pop them off of each finger. When we spoke up about it, they didn't seem to care about what we, the paying customer, wanted and continued to pop them off. Throughout the manicure the employees were very unprofessional, they cut up the entire time and were loud. We felt very uncomfortable and felt as if we were being talked about. I may not be fluent in other languages but body language is universal. As far as the manicure goes, the paint looks like my 14 year old cousin painted my nails. Then when we go to check out, they charged us $10 dollars for popping our nails off, which I could have done on my own had I known they were going to charge us/not provide the service we originally request, and $10 for a bad paint job. I must also say that none of the equipment used, was sanitized before or after the manicure. All tools were thrown back in the drawer with out being cleaned. My advice, save your money, go some where else where they are nice people and clean their equipment. Tic Tac Nails will never get my business again. I will be advising everyone that I know not to waste their money on horrible service and on such unprofessional, rude people! read more

I just moved to Beaumont and typically have a pedicure every two weeks, so I was eager to find a new salon to continue my routine. This will not be the place! The service was poor, chair's spa jets were broken so I just soaked while other chairs were not being used, and worse of all is I had to ask for new tools as the woman was about to use the same tools she'd just used on someone else! i went to the salon on Dowlen. When I walked in, the front gal hollered loudly all the way to the back to get someone to take me. VERY unprofessional. I'm new to the area and i just wanted a color change on my toenails. I was charged $12 just to do that. That is what I pay for a full manicure in the North Dallas Area. I'd just had foot surgery and the older woman working on me was VERY rude and wanted me to hold my feet at an angle that became extremely uncomfortable. I tried to tell her but she just grumbled and pushed my feet down which actually hurt my recently operated on foot.
