After traveling 8 hours and arriving around 2:00 AM, we were denied our stay and had our prepaid reservation canceled on the spot because we were traveling with an Emotional Support Animal. What made this even more frustrating is that there was another loud, clearly untrained dog on the property that was allowed to stay. This felt discriminatory and inconsistently enforced. Being turned away in the middle of the night after such a long drive, with no real solution or accommodation offered, was incredibly stressful and unprofessional. No guest should be put in that position & especially after already paying. We are now having to pursue a refund and escalate this further. I would strongly caution others before booking here, especially if you are traveling with any type of support animal. read more

We needed to book a hotel for a last minute trip to the Oregon coast and decided to book at the Quality Inn as their pricing was more reasonable and they had more rooms available than other alternatives in Seaside. That being said I was very impressed at how pristine and clean the rooms were. The facility itself looks recently renovated and the design and furniture appear to reflect that. The booking site says this is 2 stars but it feels honestly like a 3 star hotel. On top of that there is free breakfast included which is a nice plus for families with children. Overall would highly recommend this location if traveling on vacation in seaside and you need a reasonably priced and clean hotel. read more

We enjoyed our time at the Quality Inn! For an unexpected and unscheduled stay, we were greeted by Doris and staff. It was so welcoming and immediately felt a "family-friendly" environment. The room prices were reasonable. The facility was well kept and our room was clean and well maintained. The morning breakfast was a wonderful touch, which included red velvet waffles with sprinkles to celebrate the Valentine's Day holiday! Very simple, clean accommodations in an excellent location. Plenty of parking and easy to find, right off the main road. It's also within walking distance of the oceanfront boardwalk area so that's really nice! Although, the road is very busy so we didn't feel comfortable walking on it. The staff are very warm and welcoming and helpful! Especially the nice lady making the waffles in the morning! She was so patient, even with the most demanding customers lol! In addition to waffles, they also offered a grab-and-go back with fruit and bagel and cream cheese and selections of drinks and yogurt. The waffles were really good too! The room was on the smaller side but very adequate for our one-night stay. The bathroom was smaller and had limited room for toiletries storage unfortunately. There's not much of a view from the room, but the oceanfront is nearby so not too much of a big deal. There's a microwave, fridge and coffee maker in the room which is all we needed. I will say though, we stayed on points so if we had to pay their rate, we probably would've stayed elsewhere bc it seems quite pricey for just being a very basic hotel room. I feel like this place is independently owned by a family with small children and they live here or a mother with small children work here and bring their children to work with them and just shove them in an empty room what ever the case may be this place is awful please stay away from this place if you want rest at night read more

The room couldn't be any smaller and so many things in the room that need to be repaired - toilet seat, front door lock, light fixtures, fan in bathroom very noisy and the light switch and fan come on together, so you cannot leave the fan off. Awful cheap, thin towels. Drain in tub clogged. The man at the front desk rolled his eyes when I asked for the Drano. I could go on and on. The people running this place must also live here, babysitting their children while trying to run a hotel. Kids running down and playing in the halls. We paid $200 a night for 2 nights, $400 total. This hotel did the job. We needed a room for one night on our road trip down the Oregon Coast. It was a small room that didn't fit much other than the bed, but we didn't need much space for only one night. The room was clean and we appreciated that it had a microwave & fridge. It was conveniently located right off 101. It's overpriced for what it is, but definitely a good choice for the more "affordable" hotels in the Cannon Beach/Seaside area. read more

This is the email I sent to corporate. Hello, We are currently staying in your Quality inn hotel in Seaside, Oregon. (Stayed 8-19-2017-8-20-2017) and I think if corporate walked in here unannounced you would be in shock of how your hotel is being ran. We walked in to check in and the employees both seemed so clueless of what they were doing, they had their kids here behind the counter with them, one lady (I believe she's one of the maids.) Had her dog here following her around to each room she went, our room was not clean at all, sheets were dirty, garbage on the ground, the drawers had garbage in them and chewed up gum in them. Also, there was hair ties on the floor that didn't belong to us. When we had checked in they told us room 204 (They wrote that on the key card paper too.) And we came upstairs to use the card to find out they didn't work after trying for 5mins we had to walk back downstairs to tell them they didn't work, they said oh you're actually going to be in room 203. We then went to 203 and one key worked but the other one didn't, shortly after that one of the employees came up and switched us keys, then for some reason again she came up and switched us keys again. All the employees are dressed in just random yoga pants, slippers, tye dye hoodies so you have no idea which ones work here and which don't. Our batteries were low in our remote to the TV so my Husband called down to the front desk to ask for more and sure enough a little kid brought them to our door, not an employee of any kind. We paid 340.00 for this room and expected a nice stay and we didn't get anything close to that. We are businesses owners ourselves and stay in 45+ hotels a year and this is by far the worst we've stayed in, we will not be returning. We are now getting ready to check out there is three or four people cleaning rooms all of them not in a uniform of any kind and actually the girl that has dreads (Not sure of names since none of them are identifed.) Her slippers are sitting in the hallway while she's barefoot cleaning the rooms. I have taken pictures of all this, and will be telling people how this hotel is ran because it is shocking. I am sure that if you as corporate entered this hotel you would not be leaving happy with how your hotel is being ran. read more

We stayed one night there and it was really expensive, like $320 / night, and the room actually smelled dirty and musty and it was very humid in the room. Yuck. I left my cell phone charger and my smart watch charger there too. Called them to see if they found it, and no, they couldn't find it. The coffee in the morning was probably the worst coffee I have ever had. It was not hot. Tepid. And it's flavor was impoverished. I like a rich and robust coffee flavor. The wall light switches at the front door of the room did not control anything. I won't ever stay there again. read more

2020-03-13, My wife and I booked a wonderful trip down to Cannon beach Oregon and were looking forward to the weekend. Unfortunately due to the COVID-19 outbreak, the Federal Government of Canada had issued a travel advisory and closed down the border preventing entry into the USA. Now, while the overwhelming response from the travel industry has been to refund patrons for this. Both Priceline (whom I booked this hotel through) and Quality Inn, have both been running me around in circles to say neither has the authority to cancel the booking and must call the other business to resolve the issue. This is unacceptable. Priceline, Quality Inn. You both need to understand that a "no refund policy" is inadequate in this scenario. Day to day business Policies are not designed to handle a global health crisis. You need to use your head, adapt and solve the issue at hand. Not bury your head and hide behind the fine-print. Seaside Oregone Quality Inn was great. I was able to walk in and get a room for 4 nights after the Red Lion messed up my reservation. The rooms were clean, very quiet. Staff was friendly. Breakfast was ready on-time. They have a nice area to sit in the entry way. It was easy to request garbage removal and new towels when ever we wanted. The location is easy to get in and out of and I felt safe. read more

Way overpriced for what it is: no views and outdated. We paid $229 for 1 night for a room with views of the dumpster. However, the necessities are there and it's CLEAN! Cleanliness matters the most to me and this place was very clean despite the drabness of the room. All the employees are tremendously kind and helpful. It actually seems like they enjoy their work and interacting with people, which I think is rare these days. I think this place would be so much better if the owner would remodel. There's no way there's not money to remodel charging $229 a night when other cities in Oregon have the same room for $65. The towel racks in the bathroom have rust and the baseboard tiles are coming apart. I also suggest new sinks since there are no counters and I don't trust that my toothbrush won't knock down to the floor with that slim space on the sink. DO NOT STAY HERE!!! This by far was the worst hotel I've ever stayed in. Let's start from the top shall we? I booked a double queen room on a 3rd party website. When I went to check in and got to my room there was only a king bed. I went back to the lobby and explained to the guy I had a 2 bed room. He said "you booked on a 3rd party and all I see is a room, I gave you a room" I showed him my email that shows I paid for a 2 queen bed. He says "well, idk what to tell you, you booked on a 3rd party, I can give you a 2 bed room but it's going to cost $40 more" I tried to explain to the guy why I shouldn't be paying More for a room I already paid for and his response was "how much did you pay the 3rd party" when I told him he says "well if you would've just booked here I could've saved you money" WTF!!!!!! So since I had 2 children with me that were exhausted and I was already in the money with not being able to get a refund I had no option but to pay the additional $40. This room has now costed me almost $300!!! I get to the room and it's gross. It smells, it's dirty, it really was a hole in the wall hotel. Worst part?! The beds. They feel like you're sleeping on a rock. My son even slept on the floor bc he said the FLOOR was more comfortable then the bed!!! When I addressed my concerns with the front desk they said "ok" no trying to rectify or make me ever want to stay in ANY quality inn establishment again!!! I've worked in customer service for 15 years and I've never treated a customer like that. So I will be putting reviews every single place and platform possible so no one has to go thru what I went thru! read more

I am very frustrated, Me and my friend booked here recently. The rooms online look nothing like the rooms they give you. The hotel is filthy and overpriced. The breakfast is disgusting and the staff are not very nice. Not only to mention they charged me more than once of $178 dollars twice. This hotel is not fair and have a dishonest employee. I had made 2 nights for 1 room reserved on 9/3/2021 through Orbitz.com but I did not want to stay second night as the hotel was't nice than my expectation. So at the time of check-in, I asked the hotel employee my decision of cancellation for second night but he asked me to contact Orbitz first and If I did, he would follow. So I did spend long time for contacting Orbits agent by phone and finally I got confirmation. After that, I also confirmed it with same front door employee and he told me, "Yes, I got a call from Orbitz agent and it was duly cancelled." However, I received an e-mail from Orbitz customer service staff on 9/6/2021 that Quality Inn denied the cancellation request. That meant the hotel would not responsible its emplyee's promise to hotel guest ! I am so upset and could not helping announcing this bad experience to its future guests. I will have to lose my money of $280.13 because this hotel will not refund one night room charge which I did not stay. read more

We stayed at this Quality Inn for two days while on vacation. This hotel, I believe is in a great location. It on the edge of town(seaside) closer to Cannon Beach. It's very easy to find, and is away from all of the crowded areas of Seaside. Trust me you will go downtown, and spend the day. Your going to want a quiet place to relax, there was zero outside noise while we stayed here. We were less than 10 minutes from the downtown Seaside Turnabout. I requested early check-in the night prior. Upon arrival I was greeted by Dorris with a smile and welcomed me. I mentioned, I was hoping to check in early which she was able to accomodate. While I was getting checked in, I glanced around the lobby area, and observed it to be very clean and updated. I noticed a breakfast area as well. Our room was on the 2nd floor, The room we booked was a two queen bed. The room was spotless and nicely appointed. The carpet is very clean. The beds are very comfy, we slept well. Bathroom is nicely updated and spotless, towels are soft and fluffy. A/C in the room as well. We were completely happy with the room. Every morning a full on breakfast is available to guests. Waffle maker, eggs, sausage, pastries, english muffins, breads, fruit, yogurt etc, all included in your stay. There is a gym on the second floor, with a treadmill, bike and weights. Plenty of free parking. Dorris, I believe is the Manager of the Quality Inn. I can tell she is passionate about properly managing the hotel and making sure all guests are happy. She is amazing! I had reserved a room with a queen bed, and upon arrival, found that the room itself was not much larger than the aforementioned bed. The room was so small that my husband and I could not pass by each other at the foot of the bed, we had to stand to the bedside to let the other person pass to get to the bathroom. A desk was against the wall at the end of the bed, and when I sat in the desk chair and swiveled around, my knees touched the bed, and I'm only five feet tall. Although there was an armoire in the room, the only drawers were two small ones in the nightstands. Given that we were on a two-week vacation, it left even less space in the room as there was not enough places to store our belongings. The only chair in the room was the desk chair, which left one of us with no place to sit except on the bed. Regarding cleanliness, the room itself on the surface looked presentable, other than some cobwebs near the ceiling and some dust on the desk chair. However, the refrigerator had food in it left from the previous client, which led me to question just how much effort went into sanitizing the room. The first night my husband and I, along with the entire hotel, was awakened at 4:20am by the fire alarm. We rushed to get dressed and after a couple of minutes the alarm stopped. No announcements or notifications were made, so my husband went out to see what was happening. Several other patrons were in the lobby, one of which told my husband that someone burned a bagel. Later that morning, we went to the breakfast area, where the desk clerk was telling about how the burned bagel set off the alarm. She was laughing about the incident and complained that she had been awakened twice, because she went back to sleep after the alarm went off but was later awakened by the alarm company checking on what was happening at the hotel. Let me say this, first, there is nothing funny about being jolted awake to a fire alarmin the wee hours of the morning and having to rush to get dressed to flee a fire. Second, I would think that the staff should have had the responsibility to notify the alarm company about the incident rather than going back to sleep, something which I doubt many of the guests were unable to do, including my husband and myself. There was no acknowledgement of the stress or inconvenience caused to the guests, and certainly no apologies. As for breakfast, although there were three pots of coffee available, none were decaffeinated. Luckily there was some in my room so I had to go back to the room to make myself a cup. Also, most breakfast items were empty and the same clerk mentioned above said there was a problem with the kitchen equipment. There was a toaster but no bread. Once again, I went back to my room to retrieve some English muffins that I had in my luggage so my husband and I could have some bread for our breakfast. When I booked the room, my husband questioned me about whether we really wanted to stay at a Quality Inn due to a bad experience we had in another inn years ago, a stay that involved conversations with the county Board of Health. I said that just because one hotel was bad, we should not write off the entire chain. This stay was in no way as bad as our previous experience, but it only serves to make the point that Quality Inn does not live up to its name. read more

We payed over $200 a night for a queen bed. The tv did not work on more than one station, the bathroom was so small there was no room for my personal items much less my husbands. The shower curtain smelled really bad, our keys stopped working so we went to the front desk for new keys. The employee smelled of really bad BO so I stood 6 feet away and covered my nose. The heater/ac stunk when turned on. The breakfast was generic and packaged. The eggs were boxed as well as the sausage that was too salty to eat. So I gave it 3 stars because the staff were very polite and helpful and the room/sheets were clean. I just didn't think it was worth that much money but there isn't much available for less than $300. read more

Terrible stay. Rude employees. I call for extra shampoo and they say we can't deliver to the third floor. I was charged more then what I was quoted and when I ask them about it they say "We normally do have to tell you about that". No I won't be coming back. I can just go to the Motel 6 next door for $59 a night that offers more then Quality Inn that charged me $199 a night. They don't even have a pool. read more

This was a great stay for the $70 a night. Checked in Monday and leaving on a Friday. Clean, non smoking, quiet. Fresh paint on the walls and new bedding. There were some chips on the shower tub floor, but that was the only thing negative I can say. Would stay here again for the price. read more

It's aight. BUT there's no pool, or laundry facilities. The staff is very friendly, and helpful which is nice, and the beds are comfortable. There is a little work out room which my partner used and enjoyed, and complementary breakfast which I enjoyed, but every other motel I stayed at in Oregon had a pool, a hot tub, and laundry facilities. It is really cheap for lodging in Seaside, but I'd rather spend $10 more a day, and get the extras. read more

Definitely book these rooms on line, do not walk in at 6pm when all other travelers are looking too...it will cost you tomorrow's room too. When all said and done I paid over 300 bucks for a room with two queen beds, one appeared not to have been changed out (the mattress was clean under the sheets) and left overs from previous occupants were still in mini fridge. Shower was hot, cable channels standard, continental breakfast and WiFi were free..yipee whoo hoo..don't expect a pool , jacuzzi or sauna room either. Just barebones accommodations and an empty wallet. No triple star/triple diamond rating here, 2 max. Obviously remodeled within the past few years. Newer style furniture fixtures and equipment. The inconsistent spray texture on the walls is a good clue of repair work... Who ever checked the punch list sure let the contractor off the hook. read more

I was in seaside for a family emergency and needed a place to stay for the night I called and spoke with a lady who said I have 1 room left but were having trouble with the cable box to which I applied That's fine I don't need cable Im just going to sleep. I checked in went up to my room set my stuff down and went into the bathroom. As I was using the bathroom I noticed there was a poopy diaper in the garbage. From the previous guest. When I told the front desk she asked me if i would like a bag to clean it up with. With Covid going around and my room clearly not cleaned I wash shocked that she would even say that. It is not my job to clean the room it should have been done before I entered that room. Needless to say I didn't sleep that night. Then the manager Doris came on duty and I explained to her about the diaper and she replied with attitude " I already know" she offered me a discount of $28 and some change and when she went to give me the discount she actually took the $ out of my act instead of giving mean discount. This place needs to get their shit figured out cause this place is disgusting and rip you off. I hope some reads this and chooses not to stay here. They do not take cleaning seriously and want their guest to clean up poopy diapers without the proper attire or protection on. read more
