I had someone actually drive me from Jackson to Dillon and I was able to get a room for the evening. (I actually ended up staying two days in order to recover.) I can't remember being that ill in my adult life! And since I was riding a bicycle (and could not get very far away from a bathroom), I could not easily get to a store to get food or medicine. That is where members of the Fairbridge staff stepped up to help me in my desperate time of need. Tonya (General Manager ) volunteered to go to the local supermarket and get me chicken noodle soup and NyQuil! I cannot tell you how much I appreciate that kind gesture! Later, that same day, I figured out that I needed Pepto-Bismol to stop the other chronic symptoms I was having. I asked Ellie at the front desk if there was anyone that could help me with getting Pepto-Bismol and she graciously volunteered to get it herself. However, I had no more ready cash on me so she went to the store, got me Pepto-Bismol...at her own cost! I cannot praise these two people enough and they helped me recover and get back on the road. One footnote... I am still cycling across the United States, but I wanted to take the time to leave a review to acknowledge the fantastic staff members at the Fairbridge in Dillon and how much I am grateful for their care concern for their guests.

Typical sterile Motel 6 room with zero amenities. Laminate flooring with paper-thin walls and a barking dog in the room adjacent made for a frustratingly uncomfortable night. Lumpy, uncomfortable bedding, and the bathroom was in desperate need of cleaning and remodeling. Tile grout as well as the toilet is badly stained and appeared unsanitary. The towels have been washed and baked dried so many times they feel like sandpaper when drying your body. I would not recommend staying here with the higher quality options nearby in the same price range.
